My Perfect Disabled Husband
Rely on Me

The sound of falling objects coming from the bathroom shocked Marien and made her wake up from her sleep. Marien looked at the side of the bed where William was no longer on the bed. The sound of falling objects coming back was heard, Marien hurriedly got out of bed and stepped towards the bathroom.

"William, are you inside?" ask Marian. There was no answer, Marien called again but Wiliam did not answer the call from him.

Wiliam hit both of her legs hard but did not feel any pain at all. The nerves at his feet were dead. William hit back while swearing in the heart. Now he had truly become an already useless disabled man. To take an object he must try hard but in vain.  Is this the reward he really should get due to the arrogant attitude he has shown so far?

"William, what's wrong with you? Did you fall?" ask Marien who sounds worried.

"No, I'm fine!" answer William.

"May I come in to see how you are?" Marien's really worried, he thinks William fell in there.

"Well, can you help me?" pinta Williams. Surely he was reluctant and ashamed but inevitably he had to rely on Marien. If it wasn't for the hardships he was going through, then he wouldn't want to. It seemed like from now on he would have to get used to relying on Marien.

Marien went inside and stepped closer to William who was sitting on his back. It seems like the man wants to take a shower but he has a hard time. Marien stands by William's side but his eyes are wide open because he must see William's naked body.

"Oh my God!" Marien turned around hurriedly while covering both of her eyes. Her face became hot, she felt a red hue on her cheeks as this was the first time she had seen a male body.

"You should be able to, Marien. You should be able to!" he said to himself.

"There's no need to force yourself, Marien. Come out, I can do it myself!" said William.

"No, I'm sorry for my reaction. It's the first time I've seen a man's body so me?" Marien rubbed his face and rubbed his chest. It turned out that there was an elephant trunk there and he had to get used to it.

"I told you I don't have to push myself, I can do it but help me get the soap and shower" William said.

"It looks like we should buy a chair for you so you can sit down to take a shower."

"Good idea, but help me for a second!"

"Sure, I'll help you take a shower!" Marien went out for a while to pick up a chair on the dresser that William could use.

"There's only this you can use" Marien said.

"It's okay, that's enough!"

"All right, I'm helping!" Marien puts down a chair not far away and helps William move out of a wheelchair. Surely she felt very strange but she had promised to serve William as a wife.

"Fuh, my waist!" Marien stretched her painful waist muscles.

"I told you, I can do it myself so get out!"

"Don't be like that, I've promised to serve you so I have to keep this promise!" although what she was doing at the moment was the first time and made her heart beat but Marien tried to be calm. He had to remember, panic would not solve the problem even William could take it too much.

"Wake up so early, where are you going?" ask Marien.

"I must begin to rise as you say, so I must go to meet someone. Didn't you say I had to make Fiona regret for dumping me? That's why I have to start."

"Good, you should do it. I will definitely support you until you succeed and teach that self-destructive lover a lesson!" marien.

"You look more excited than me, Marien?"

"Of course, I hate arrogant women who can only insult people like your lover!"

"What about you? Is your brother going to shut up after you foiled his plan and didn't return the check you gave me? I'm sure he won't stay silent so you'll have to tell me if your brother does anything unpleasant to you."

"You don't have to worry about that, William. I am not a woman who is easily oppressed especially my brother. No one will be able to treat me unfairly because I am not a fool who cannot fight back!" marien said as she looked at her husband.

"I know you can," William rubbed Marien's face slowly, "But count on me even if I'm just your paid husband if you trust a disabled man like me" she said.

"I will count on you, William," Marien placed his hand on William's hand, and a sweet smile adorned his face. The husband he paid for was not bad, his attitude was quite pleasant as William was not as arrogant as most men in general.

"Good to hear. Have we not become husband and wife? It's just a trick, but we have to help each other!"

"You're right. We need to help each other!" Marien took the towel because he was done. He again helped William to sit in his wheelchair.

The first day they became husband and wife passed without any obstacles and they both knew themselves. There is no drama whatsoever even unconsciously they behave as if they are real husband and wife even though there is no physical contact. Marien helped William put on his clothes, all right. He'll get used to it.

William is not like a man who does not have money, all the clothes he has are classy clothes but he does not want to ask because William could have a pretty good position before he was fired.

After helping William take a bath and get dressed, Marien took William to the kitchen and made him breakfast. A different morning, of course, with a man suddenly present in his life. It seemed like he had gone crazy paying the man without a second thought but he had no regrets at all since he had not spent any money at all.

"Where do you work, Marien?" ask William.

"Star Corp Company, you know that company, right?"

"Hm, a little bit" replied William. Star Corp, he knew the company because not long ago the company was applying for cooperation with him.

"Eat first, I have to take a shower" said Marien.

"Thank you" William looked at Marien's departure and thought. Does he have to accept a cooperation call from the company where Marien works? It's best not because Marien can't know who she is.

Right now he's just William, that's all. He will not carry his father's big name and he will not carry his mother's big name so that Marien does not know his identity. After all they would only be together for one year and he was sure, Marien would not fuss over anything. Now he must pretend to try to get up and of course he will avenge Fiona's actions and of course he will protect Marien from his greedy family.
