Steve's Request

Steve was looking for Marien that day, not as usual because he was so serious that he begged William to meet him. Because they had been living in his parents' house, Steve could no longer come and met easily because Abraham and Silvia forbade Marien from meeting anyone without their permission.

They do it because they don't want Marien to meet with clients so she has to get back busy at the office. It may be a bit overdone but as long as Marien's state has not improved, they want Marien to really focus on her health and her baby without thinking about work. That's why Marien's wish to meet had to get permission except for his father.

After all, Marien's company was taken over by William. Everything he did for his wife Tenanf. William never even discussed work so Marien wouldn't think about office affairs. Marien may return to the office after she gives birth but on condition that she should not be too frequent as she will have to look after the baby later.

Steve followed William home at his request. I don't know what it's about but William thinks Steve has a serious purpose and he's guessing something to do with Alexa. Don't tell me if Steve's serious about Marien's sister.

"Mom, where's Marien?" william asked his mother.

"Steve wants to meet him!"

"Steve?" Silvia looked towards her pura assistant who greeted.

"I'll call Marien for a minute. You just sit down!" william's orders to Steve.

"Good, Sir!"

William stepped into the room to call his wife who was resting. Though he was bored but what could be done, he did not want to make both parents William disappointed. Marien was lying down hugging a large teddy bear bought by her father-in-law while watching the drama from a mobile phone. That's all he can do because the doctor said he shouldn't be stressed so he doesn't fidget at night so he can sleep. William approached his wife and sat down on the side of the bed. Marien turned away, but she went back to watching the drama.

"Marien, Steve wants to meet" William said as he approached his wife.

"Steve, what's it for?" marien is trying to get out of bed.

"Says there's something he's gonna talk to you about. Guess what he's gonna talk to you about?" William helped his wife to sit on the bed.

"What about Alexa or?" Marien stopped his words. Is the guess right?

"Let's find out. You're doing fine, aren't you?"

"Hm, of course. All I do is sleep. I'm bored, Will. I want to get back to work."

"Patience, you can go back to work after giving birth."

"I can't wait because I'm really bored."

"It won't be long, just be patient. Come meet Steve, he's waiting."

"Why are you looking for me, Steve?"

"I want to ask your permission, Miss."

"To ask permission, what for?" ask Marien while sitting down.

"Hm, from now on may I deliver food to Miss Alexa?" even though he can go as he wishes but he still needs permission.

"Well, it looks like you're getting serious with my brother. What's up, Steve? You know my brother's past, he's been married and miscarried. It's not so good all this time, I think you know it all, but why do you care that way about her? You can find a better woman than Alexa but why are you being so serious about her?" although he was very supportive of Steve approaching Alexa but he wanted to know why Steve could be interested in Alexa.

"I don't know either" Steve sighed, don't ask why because he didn't know either.

It looks like he should go see Alexa, talk to her and give her a little advice. Maybe that way Alexa will open her heart and think clearly to accept Steve's sincerity. He also hoped, Steve did not stop in the middle of the road and left Alexa due to bored waiting.

"Thank you for the permission that Miss gave me!" Steve was excited. Tomorrow he'll come back to prison to see Alexa. Like it or not, Alexa must accept his arrival and he will bring the food Alexa wants as well as for his partner who is in prison. Don't ask why because love is blind.
