My Perfect Disabled Husband

My Perfect Disabled Husband
Little Worried

Green, all the food on the table is all green. From fish salads, spinach, broccoli and almost all leafy greens are on the table. Not only vegetables, fish is also their dinner menu. Ginger team fish, it's Silvia's favorite but today it should be Marien's favorite food.

For the umpteenth time, Marien and William looked at each other. After they finished acting silly in a princess dress that gave William a headache, they decided to have dinner. Silvia asked them to stay the night. Surely Marien and William did not refuse with that request.

Abraham, who desperately wanted a granddaughter, ordered his servants to prepare vegetables and fish for their dinner tonight. He heard from his best friend if he wants a baby girl then he has to eat a lot of vegetables because of that, all the food on the table is vegetables. The information he got was not wrong but it was too late to do so.

"What's with today's food menu, Mom?" william did not understand. They are not vegetarians so it is certainly very strange to see only vegetables and fish on the table.

"Don't ask me, but ask your father!" replied mother.

"I heard that you have to eat a lot of vegetables and fish if you want a baby girl so immediately give your wife a lot of vegetables and fish!" father's orders.

"Dad, isn't it too late?"

"What do you mean it's too late?" ask father.

"Dad, I don't know where you got all this information and your silly myth is definitely not how you get a baby girl!"

"Cannot be. I've gotten it from a trusted source so there's no way I'm wrong!" said father.

"It's okay, Will. Don't destroy your father's hard-earned efforts. After all vegetables and fish are healthy foods so it does not matter. We'd better eat before it gets cold!" marien.

"Marien's right, your father has worked hard for all this so there is no need to be questioned" said his mother.

"All right, but only today Dad. Don't repeat it tomorrow!"

"What's? Daddy's not done yet!" said father.

"Dad, wait another two months to find out the gender so don't do anything silly!"

"alright, fine. Let's eat!" invite his father who looks a little upset when he is not finished.

"If there's something you want to eat, just say it. Mommy will make it for you and from now on, don't get too busy with work in the office!" Silvia talks to her daughter-in-law because she wants Marien to focus more on her health and the baby she is carrying than on her job.

"I know, Mom. I've reduced my work schedule and I've decided not to always go to the office."

"That's great, how's your dad and brother doing?" asked Silvia again who had heard that Marien's sister was in prison.

"They're fine, Mom. Thank you." Thank you."

"What about that meeting with your sister, Marien?" ask William.

"Alexa looks the better she can even be talked to and doesn't look like she's been."

"That's good, at least the prison has made it better!"

Marien smiled, there was something he wanted to discuss but later because he did not want to ruin their togetherness tonight. His family matters did not want him to discuss when he was with William's family because they had nothing to do let alone embarrassed him..

"Here, I'll talk again. Now eat, lest my future grandchildren starve!" said Abraham.

"True, we'll talk again!" Silvia took food for her daughter-in-law first and then brought food for her husband. William also took food for Marien because his wife needed a lot of food.

A nice dinner, Marien gets the attention of her mother and father-in-law. Not because she was pregnant, but because she was the daughter-in-law of their family. Silvia and Abraham had certainly heard a lot about Marien when Marien had no idea who William really was. Marien's sincerity was of course beyond doubt, he even rejected the offer Silvia gave. They know, William really did not choose the wrong wife.

"What about your brother? Have you talked to him?" indeed William was curious but it seemed that Marien did not want to discuss it just now so he did not ask more.

"of course. I've spoken to him and now it's up to him to forgive our father or not!"

"You better not force it, Marien. Let him make his own decision."

"I know, Will. I just gave her advice and I'm not going to force Alexa because an apology that comes from her own heart, can't be forced. I can only hope Alexa makes a good decision for herself and I hope she makes peace with our father!"

"Well, you really have an amazing heart. As for the punishment your brother will be serving, I've ordered Steve to work on it. Hopefully his sentence can be reduced by five or six years so he'll be free soon."

"Can I?" ask Marien who seems unsure.

"Of course!" William inching closer to Marien and hugged his wife who was lying down.

"Steve's working on it. He can definitely do it and your brother's prison time can be reduced so he can be free quickly!"

"Thank you, Will. Today you really gave me a lot of happiness. Thank you!"

"What's it about seeing my weird appearance that really makes you happy?"

"Of course, that's a rare sight!"

"It's just an embarrassing sight!" if remembered by his appearance earlier, he was really embarrassed but because his wife was very happy so he wanted to do it.

"But you look cool!" marien said as she gave a kiss on her husband's cheek.

They both looked at each other with smiles adorning their faces. William's hand was already on Marien's face and rubbed it slowly. The happiness they felt also emanated from the gaze of the eyes of the two of them.

"If our son were a boy, would your father be disappointed and ask you to marry again?" suddenly the question just popped out.

"What's? What kind of ridiculous thought is that?"

"It could happen, right? Because your father wanted a granddaughter, but the one born was a boy. Your father became disappointed and asked you to marry again!"

"My father couldn't have been like that, believe me. My mother didn't either. I told you, my family upholds marriage so my parents couldn't possibly ask me to remarry just because they didn't get a granddaughter."

"I'm a little anxious" said Marien.

"Get rid of your worries because they won't be like that!"

"Well, I wish our first daughter's wish was granted."

"You're right, it's night so we'd better get some sleep!"

Marien nodded, a smile again adorning his face as William kissed his forehead.

"I love you, Honey!" william kissed her cheek again.

"Me too!" both of Marien's eyes closed as William kissed her lips affectionately. They looked at each other while smiling for the umpteenth time. Happy, they both felt. William hugged his wife while rubbing Marien's slightly enlarged stomach. Soon, their marriage which was woven upon imperfection would be perfect because their future baby would perfect their marriage which took place on a contract.
