New Happiness, Begins

New Happiness, Begins
The Part 36

David clenched his jaw. Although Kendall tried to hide her feelings of humiliation due to the disturbance at an inopportune moment, the woman's expression when telling her to have fun felt like a brain burn.

Hailey put down the picnic basket, then dropped the dog from the sling to the ground. He raised his hands high to stretch his body and bend his sex body. David threw his face away. He really doesn't want to be here.

"It's a good place" Hailey said. "How did you find it?"

"My brother and I used to come here to swim" said David, trying to calm down and enjoy the atmosphere. He must be responsible for accepting Hailey's invitation. "Most of these lakes are shallow but this part is one of the deepest."

"I was lucky to wear a swimsuit, too," said Hailey, and before David could blink, the woman had opened the shirt and a pink and white polkadot bikini top appeared.

Stiff by brownish colored flesh.

David cleared his throat, then pointed to the tree above them. "The height of this oak tree used to be doubled. But it's been whittled down by the storm."

"It's still shady enough for a picnic" Hailey said, then leaned over to get the blanket out of the picnic basket, making her shorts interested and revealing disaster-promoting areas.

David covered his face with his hands. Why is there such a gnawing feeling, as if he was unfaithful to Kendall just for being here? They have no ties or anything. Even the woman was already really trying to show that she was not interested in him. The incident in the practice room was probably just the reaction of the doctor because he felt lonely, and maybe a little revenge that was vented because of the fiancee who cheated. Maybe Kendall wants to sleep with another guy before she gets back to that guy.

Why does that thought make me so upset? inner David.

"Call for David."

David turned his attention back to Hailey, who was standing around ruffled and looking at him with a probing look.

"I'm boring you?"

"I'm sorry" said David, feeling guilty. He grabbed the crutches and stood up. "What can I help you with?"

Hailey smiled shyly. "Taste and tell me if it's delicious."

David stumbles, but can hold the body with one crutch.

Hailey laughed and held out a sandwich. "I mean the chicken salad sandwich, stupid."

David laughed with relief, feeling silly while sitting down covered. Upon accepting Hailey's invitation, didn't he expect they would be rolling on the ground all afternoon? But that was before the incident with Kendall before she knew how quickly Little Doctor Ma'am went from cold to flaming. Before he knew how the woman's small and dexterous hands could make the body temperature soar burning passion.

"You don't like chicken salad sandwiches?"

David turned his head and saw Hailey holding out the sendwich in question. David nodded and smiled. "Like," he said as he took the bread. "thank you. I'm glad I got a little break from Molly's cooking."

Hailey sneering. "Food in the cafeteria is gone. Molly agreed to give some women permission to help prepare food and make the place more attractive, more like a restaurant."

"really? Nice." David had already received the sandwich and bit him. He smiled until a strange taste hit his tongue, but maintained his expression until he managed to swallow. "Ehm, tastes. But it's delicious," he added quickly.

David continued to nod and bite bigger. It is better to finish the food as soon as possible. He realized Hailey also did not enjoy her chicken salad sandwich that had "secret ingredients" and instead took a glass filled with fruit because she was vegetarian.

Today David doesn't mind being a vegetarian.

While chewing, he asked, "So, how is the media room progressing? I saw the TV antenna's already installed."

Hailey nodded. "And new computers have been laid. Wireless router is installed. Hopefully all of Happiness will have a WiFi connection in a few days. Those women were already impatiently wanting to be able to connect again with the outside world."

It suddenly occurred to David that Kendall had also left her previous life. "You miss Denville?"

"Not again after I decided to stay."

"Easy then?"

Hailey shrugged her shoulders. "Why bother guessing the consequences of your decision? It's pointless. Now I'm here and determined to help you and your brother turn Happiness into the city you all wanted. I have a lot of ideas."

David finished eating the odd-tasting sendwich and listened to Hailey describe in detail how he could imagine the city's retail situation evolving. David's mind began to wander as he was suddenly startled by something wet tickling his feet. The little dog was licking its ungodied legs, as if it was about to be devoured. David squirms and tries to drive the animal away, hoping Hailey sees. But the woman was immersed in her enthusiastic monologue. When Hailey breaks into a picnic basket, David thinks he's going to pull out a map with a business plan. But it turned out that the woman took out another piece of sendwich that was extended to her.

"I know a big guy like you has a big appetite." Hailey rubs her eyelashes.

Reluctant to eat more of the strange sendwich, or admit Hailey's insinuations, David raised his hand. "I can't."

Hailey looked offended. "You don't like it?"

"Of course I like it" David lied. But he feels like a breng-sek man if he seems to be disrespectful and does not want to be there, so he smiles and accepts. "I just don't want to look greedy."

Hailey smiled and continued to rant about her plans for the city of Happiness. David listened patiently and put the sendwich away clandestinely, throwing some of his nibbles at Oscar to distract the dog from his itchy, wet feet. Oscar swallowed the food like a starving stray dog.

After an hour had passed and Hailey was still talking about building a cable car that would take tourists upstairs to enjoy the panoramic view of the mountain, David realized he had underestimated the woman. Hailey is not just a pretty creature. He also has ambitions, the kind of ambitions a developing city needs.

Hailey is beautiful, passionate and wants to make her Happiness her home. Why is he not interested in this woman? Why is he so alone with the female doctor who is here just because his car has been sabotaged?

Suddenly Hailey stopped. "I'm boring you. Sorry I keep babbling."

"No, it's okay" David said. "I'm glad you're excited about our plan. We're lucky to have you here."

Hailey advanced the body and made a picture on the back of David's hand with his well-groomed nails. "There are other things in Happiness that excite me."
