Part 6's

Kendall was suddenly struck by feelings of longing for the city and the people she had left behind. His eyes were pierced with tears that felt hot. "Perintis new life" is the part of the ad that catches his attention. But look, what he got.

It flashed through Kendall's mind to jump behind the wheel and escape from there. He even took a step to the driver's side.

Then his gaze was fixed on David Booker who was being raised to a hard plastic gurney, accompanied by his brother with a face that clearly looked worried. It is not a brotherly duty, but is based more on a feeling of deep affection.

Kendall's heart feels squeezed. Family.something he doesn't have. He is alone in this world. She thought her engagement was the first step to building her own family, something she desperately wanted. But the betrayal of the fiancee completely broke her heart.

The Booker brothers' efforts to bring together people from different parts of the country to form a new community from scratch were a concept that caught his heart from the start. He wanted to be part of this great experiment. This may be his last chance to form a family of his own.

From the gurney David lifted his dark-haired head. "Hey, where's our doctor?"

The man was still under the influence of medicine, but when their eyes met, Kendall's stomach twisted a little. He considers the reaction to be due to fragile emotions. He doesn't want to fall in love with a man who doesn't want him. And anyway, the task awaits.

"I came," he said, then picked up the doctor's bag and stepped towards his first patient.

With her chest pounding, Kendall follows a line of men to a building they call 'dormitory'.

"Doctor Jenner, my sister is often bouncing." said Harry

"Tell your pretty friends, I'm the fun Booker." David gazed past Kendall at Hailey Baldwin, who had found a bag of cotton to carry, pretending to help carry supplies.

Kendall tried not to react because it was set aside from the "pretty" group, but David's words were too sharp.

Kendall's expression must have shown her feelings, as she threw an apologetic smile and leaned closer to David while saying, "Close your mouth, stupid. Doctor Jenner came here to try to treat you, not find you a mate."

Colorful wooden planks lined up, some in paint, some without paint, some weathered, some new, give the impression of a two-story 'dormitory' like a cottage. But from a closer distance, it turned out that the building was bigger. The long veranda and around the building are filled with rows of rocking chairs that welcome them to the spacious room impressively warm, although the furniture is not much.

Plain wooden floors and freshly painted white walls. He walked through the kitchen and dining room, then looked towards the second floor. Behind the red fence that stretched on both sides were many doors, perhaps a bedroom door. He did not intend to share the kitchen and living room with dozens of other women. I just wish each room had its own bathroom.

The spacious vestibule ended up in another corridor with more rooms lined to the left and right on both floors. Finally they arrived at the spacious room at the back of the house that looked like another type of large room, with tall windows. The room was like a dance hall and almost entirely empty. Surprisingly, Kendall imagines dancing in pairs accompanied by cheers.
