New Happiness, Begins

New Happiness, Begins
The Part 46

"Uh, I don't want to deal with this traffic jam every day" said David, as if he knew Kendall was considering moving to the city.

"I'm sure people will get used to it for a long time."

"Like living in Happiness.it should be tried first."

Kendall did not respond, remaining hostile to the road. Vehicle jostling. The air is thick with smoke and the heat bounces off the asphalt and concrete. Cara's opinion of the city was now reflected in her own eyes. Atlanta is a big, hot metropolis full of busy, nonchalant people.

The right place to obscure existence. Where he would not feel compelled to involve being watered down in complicated relationships with neighbors, co-workers, or patients.

Traffic crept forward like a conch, but eventually they reached the hotel and parked the car through the jada valet (car parking service from the hotel's special officer). Hotel administration, at least walk fast and hotel employees carry their bags first. Kendall's feet hurt from wearing a high-heeled loan and she impatiently wanted to linger in a warm bath while walking to their room, which turned out to be next to each other. Nothing feels intimate in a room setting, but somehow it feels like that when Kendall unlocks her bedroom door and David does the same thing with his own bedroom door.

"So... Dinner in two hours?" ask David.

Kendall turned and began to protest. "I'm not..."

"please please? Anyway, when you didn't want to see this town more?"

Actually does. And one of the ladies has lent her a beautiful dress to wear tonight. Kendall. But the kiss that almost happened...

David raised his hand. "I'm not gonna fuck around. I swear."

Kendall laughed and gave up. "OKAY. I'll see you in two hours." He unlocked the door and entered a spacious and luxurious room that felt very cool because of the AC. A large bed looks inviting with shiny white sheets covered in blankets. He approached, took off his shoes, spread out his arms and lay down on the bed, enjoyed the shock of his body on the bed before sighing and immersing himself in the luxurious bed sheets. The ceiling of the room is decorated with intricate patterns and gilded arches, as well as sparkling chandeliers.

It was much different from his simple room in the Happiness dormitory.

Even the luxurious hotel room reminded him of the bedroom he had used with Daniel in the man's house. Daniel has a high taste, henya has the best furniture. Kendall felt like a princess.

His mind drifted on the phone message Daniel left as he and David were driving. Replying to Daniel's phone seems like it's only gonna hurt. If the man was just pretending not to make a mistake, Kendall would definitely get angry and hurt again. And if that man....

No, his mind can't get there.

But sooner or later, he will have to face.even if it just deletes the message. He sat up straight and grabbed the bag reluctantly. He had already turned off the phone, but now when he pulled it out and pressed the button to turn it on, his heart was pounding in fear.

The knock on the door surprised him. He turned his head towards the entrance, then realized the sound was coming from another door, a thin door that fused with the wall as it was covered in the same striped wallpaper. The door that connects his room with the next room.

David Room.

The knocking sounded again. Kendall got up and walked to the door, sticking it on the inside of the cheek as she opened it. He swung the door open and found David standing there in an open shirt, showing off his muscular chest and stomach, leaning on crutches. Injured and enchanting. Oh, my God, help me, Kendall.

"You booked two connected rooms" Kendall said expressionlessly.

"Ihappily." Give David a smile.

"I remember you promised you wouldn't mess around."

"Certainly,"

Kendall folded her hands. "Then why are you knocking on my door?"

David picked up the phone that Kendal hadn't seen. "It's Hailey. He tried to call your phone, but..."

"I turned off the phone" Kendall finished the sentence. "Is something wrong?"

"Just ask yourself," David said as he reached out his phone.

Kendall picks up the object, wondering shyly if Hailey has overheard their little conversation. "Hello?"

"Connected room, huh?"

Kendall closed her eyes for a moment. "Hailey, is there a problem?"

"Yes. You really should turn on your phone."

"OK," said Kendall, enduring impatience. "What's the problem?"

"On Oscar. He won't sleep."

Kendall breathed a sigh of relief as it turned out that the problem was not something more serious, though she realized Hailey might be worried about her pet. "Is he sick again?"

"Eitherway. He also does not want to eat. Unless it's Cupid."

"Cupid?"

"That deer. We've given him a name. You know, right...?"

Kendall grimaced and glanced at David. "You named the fawn Cupid?"

David rolled his eyeballs.

"Well, kuta can't keep calling him a deer. The point is, Oscar is obsessed with Cupid. He wants to be with her all the time. Otherwise, he was shrill and would not eat or sleep."

Kendall held back a smile. "He will eat when he is hungry enough and he will sleep when he is tired enough. How are things, um, Cupid?"

"It's better after we bring it back inside."

"You guys brought him inside?"

David covered his face with his hands.

"He likes. The women took turns feeding him and checking the cast. The animal is recovering, it's been able to walk around and get stronger."

"Good," Kendall agreed.

"So," Hailey said, putting the sound down in a jail tone, "you guys having fun?"

Kendall looked at David, who was watching. "Eh. his journey is useful."

"Jeez, Kendall, relax a little. That hot guy wants you and if you've decided not to stay in Happiness, what's the point of enjoying a great one-night love?"

Kendall swept a glance at David's imposing body and his saliva dripped. "I'll put it all right."

"Look at the bag I lent you" Hailey said.

Kendall's instincts tell her not to ask for details. "OKAY. Thank ye. Uh." He quickly disconnects, then returns the phone to David.

"All is well?" ask David

"The women are taming your wild animals."

David scolded. "Women do have the skill to tame wild creatures."

Kendall's heart is pounding. He got the impression David was offending something else.

The man stuck out his neck to look behind Kendall. "How's your room?"

"Good.especially the AC."

"I prefer open windows myself."

Kendall leaned back on how different and how unsuitable they were. When giving in to physical urges, he would only feel more alienated than before. From the bed, his phone rang again. "I have to take that call" Kendall said

"OKAY. See you in two hours" David said, and before Kendall could protest again, the man had closed the door on his side of the room.
