Sincerity of Heart 2

Sincerity of Heart 2
Chapters 27. Historic Places In Rencong Land (Ara)

Remembering death is important. To always remember if the almighty can anytime take our lives. Maybe this second, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow or sometime. Increase the priest in the chest, so that whenever that time comes. We are ready to meet Him.

~Heart Graduation 2~

The reflection of sunlight makes the eyes can not open perfectly. I stared at the beauty that was currently in front of me. O God, what a beautiful home you are, O Allah. The house you protected during the great calamity is approaching. He saved thousands of lives in it.

This place is visited by so many people. Maybe out of nowhere they came. I step foot into the house of God which is proof of his power. The first thing I got was the coolness of body and soul. The Baiturrahman Grand Mosque. The mosque is still standing when around it was swept flat by the tsunami how many years ago.

Unknowingly, my tears were dripping. I could not help my admiration. This is really amazing.

"Sir, why cry?" ask Rizka. I shook my head and wiped my tears. We are currently in the Akhwat area. So I got separated from Alan.

"Maybe your brother is imagining how much power God has. This mosque is a testament to his power." said aunty embrace me. I nodded slowly.

"Ara is very happy to be born a Muslim" I said again shedding tears. Aunt Syila smiled and rubbed my back.

"Therefore we must always be thankful and obedient to Him. God willing, happiness will always be obtained." said aunt Syila. I'm nodding.

"This is still one place, brother. Enter the tsunami museum. Maybe you won't stop crying" Rizka said. I can only smile while wiping my tears. I can't wait to visit another place tomorrow.

Uncle deliberately invited us here while doing ashar prayers. It just so happens that uncle's house isn't too far from here.

After finishing the prayer. I was invited to tour the Aceh market. It turns out it's pretty crowded here, even though it's late afternoon. But the atmosphere is still quite crowded. The sellers are also very friendly. And the most unique is here the sellers continue to call customers with the word 'Piyoh'. Aunty said, that means stop by. I smiled when I heard Aunt's explanation. It turns out that the Acehnese language is quite unique and cool.

"Tante, there's no Mall here or something? What is all traditional markets?" my many.

"There, inside there's a Mall. On the third floor. It is not as big as in Jakarta. But the stuff is pretty complete. If you want, we can go there." said aunty.

"Ah, it doesn't seem bad" I said. I wonder what the Mall is like here. What a lot in Jakarta.

"In Aceh there are several malls, but a bit far from here. Like the sun mall and Hermes." I nodded at Aunt Syila's explanation.

"Every week Rizki and I always go around all the malls. Count refreshing. If not to the Mall yes to the sea." said Rizka continues to hold my hand.

"Well, must be cool, right?" I asked while looking left and right. There are so many hallways and all the clothes sellers.

After a few minutes, we arrived at a shopping center. Which is precisely the mall in Aceh. It is very large and the place is quite comfortable.

"Rizka, take your sister for a walk. Mama wants to buy something first." said aunt Syila. I saw Rizka nodding enthusiastically.

"We're here to see the clothes." take Rizka. I just followed his wish. Because I don't know this place yet.

We walked around joking. It's really very fun.

The next day, according to plan. We also walked to several places. The first thing we visited was the tsunami museum. But this time the uncle did not come because there is a schedule in the hospital. So it was just the four of us because auntie didn't want to come along.

I held Alan's hand when I entered the museum. It seems that there are a lot of visitors coming. The first thing I saw was the architectural beauty of the museum itself. It looks very luxurious and unique. First of all, we can see there is the inscription 'Aceh Tsunami Museum'.

"if the weekend will be rame, even people far away came. Never once talked to a bule." Rizka Oceh. I just smiled and nodded. Then we took a ticket, and I was surprised to come back because coming here was free.

"Hold Alan's strong brother, afraid of missing" said Rizki went inside first.

"You scared?" ask Alan.

"Hmmm, a little goosebumps." I said I couldn't see anything. If there is a hole how? Dark once. Looks like my bujuku is also a bit wet because it was hit by a splash of water. But luckily the hallway was not too long because it was already visible bright spots.

We are now in a room full of glass. I don't know what room this is? What is clear here is a lot of touchscreen computers that show photos of memories during the tsunami. I tried to slide the computer screen with my finger. There are many photos of memories here.

"It's called a memory room, space of memory" said Rizka standing next to me. I'm nodding.

"Still here or go to the prayer well?" tanyakanya. I cringed confused. Do'a well? In my shadow right now there's a well and we're saying do'a there. Ah, rather than imagining the non-not just mending directly there. I pulled Alan who was looking around.

"Look on." I said. Rizka and Rizki also laughed when they saw Alan was a little surprised because I suddenly pulled.

"Main pull, what if I fall?" ask Alan. I looked at him fixedly. Since when did my husband become a better man?

"If you fall, wake up" I said.

"Well, it's called a do'a well" said Rizka. I'm a little surprised because it doesn't match what's in my shadow. I thought this was a well. But it turns out this is a chimney-shaped room. I looked up there so many people's names. Could it be the names of tsunami victims?

"That's the names of the tsunami victims" Rizki said. I'm nodding. The sound of the holy verse of the Qur'an is so heartbreaking to my heart. The chanting hinted at such deep sadness. My tears are melting again. At the top of the well I could see the lafadz of Allah. Allahu akbar! How great are you, O God. I bow to pray for the victims. At least they got some peace there.

'Remembering death is important. To always remember if the almighty can anytime take our lives. Maybe this second, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow or sometime. Increase the priest in the chest, so that whenever that time comes. We are ready to meet with HIM.'

Then Rizka and Rizki again took us around. Why does the road seem to turn. My head is a little dizzy.

"Alan, this is the way it turns or Ara is dizzy huh?" my many.

"Indeed, honey spins" he said, embracing my waist.

"Ka, it's still far away? Ara's dizzy." I said. Rizka turned around.

"A little bit more. It's called the chimney hall." he said with a smile. I just nodded. Just this minute my feet are already pegel. Maybe because of yesterday's effect too, the pagalnya taste has not disappeared.

After spinning in a long enough hallway, that was for me anyway. We are now on a bridge. I saw below there was a fish pond and on the edge of the pond there were some young people. They seem to be students too. I smiled when I saw the seriousness of them reading the Qur'an. They went around the pool.

"Look at the top." said Alan. I looked straight up. There are many flags of several countries. It seems they were the ones who helped in the disaster first.

"This is called the bridge of hope. This bridge is philosophical that the hopes and ideals of the Acehnese people are almost extinct again built here with the help of several countries. The one above is the flag of the countries that help here" said Rizki.

"Hmmm... It's amazing." I said. They also smile.

There are so many lessons I can take here. The great history that has so much left behind, the importance of remembering death, how small the world is to HIM, reminds us of His greatness. Truly, no man can resist His will.

"Wanna watch a video of the tsunami?" ask Rizka. I immediately nodded enthusiastically.

"But you have to wait patiently. The queue is quite long." said Rizka.

"It's not a problem" I said.

Then we went into a room that was almost similar to a mini cinema, after a long wait. A short film that shows how chaotic when the big water comes suddenly. Sweep everything he passes. Not wanting to know what it was, he kept building and the humans who were trying to save themselves. Ah, my chest is so tight. I imagined what if I was in their position. Run as hard as you can to avoid the waves. Hiks, I can't take it anymore. I drowned my face on Alan's shoulder. My tears are flowing so hard. Many spectators were crying hysterically. Maybe they'll recall that memory again, a memory that will be ingrained.
