Chapter 78. Apologies

"Alex," call Nissa. He looked at Alex who was driving the car without speaking.

"I know what you've been through all this time, sorry for my husband's mistakes." The words made Alex stop his car suddenly. Nissa was so shocked, she almost hit her head.

"Forgot him, now you're mine" Alex said. Nissa took a deep breath.

"Alex, I hope you forget me. I'm sure there will be a woman who truly loves you. I have a husband and my son is still a child. I can't leave them" said Nissa.

"Sorry Alex, my words from a long time ago will never change. I just think of you as a sister, nothing more. Please stop in front, it's not good to talk like this" Nissa continued. Alex followed Nissa's words. He stopped the car on the side of the road.

"You want to play me?" alex looked at Nissa. Nissa smiled.

"Since I've never played with your feelings. I've said everything honestly" Nissa looked at Alex's netra. Alex observes Nissa's much-changed face. However, for her Nissa was still beautiful.

"I love my husband so much, I will never leave him. Unless I die," said Nissa, turning her face away from Alex. Alex was disappointed when he heard Nissa's words.

"So you chose to die?" alex smiled bitterly.

"Yes, if that's the best choice. I'm a thorn in your life, Alex. You also changed like this because of me. Before I die, I just want to see you smile like you used to. Alex always comforts me when I'm sad" said Nissa smiling sincerely. He was resigned if God would take his life today through Alex. Nissa gave a heavy sigh. Her tears slowly. Alex was shocked to see Nissa crying.

"Alex, don't hate your sister. I knew he wasn't a good man, but now he's changed. In fact...

Nissa stopped her words. He cried sobbing. All of that made Alex even more foggy.

"Nissa," said Alex to touch Nissa. However, Nissa quickly dodged.

"Arnold wants to release me for your sake, even he has changed the name of the ownership of the Digantara property with your name Alex. He just wants to make up for all his mistakes" said Nissa who made Alex surprised.

"I love him so much, he's a good man. You should know, ever since you disappeared, Arnold has been trying to find you. It's not him who wants to kill you, but his rival who takes advantage of the situation. Arnold just wanted to teach you a lesson, nothing more. You misunderstood me, Alex," explains Nissa. Alex was stunned to hear all of Nissa's explanations. Alex can no longer speak.

Nissa took Alex's gun on the car's dashboard. Alex was stunned to see that.

"Shoot me, Lex. I'm the one who caused this split" said Nissa giving Alex a gun. With trembling hands, Alex took the gun out of Nissa's hands. Alex looked at Nissa's face.

"So this is what you want Nissa? You choose to die rather than live with me?" alex looked at Nissa with disappointment. Nissa nodded.

"You're using me to keep me away from your family?" ask Alex again. Nissa nodded back. That made Alex upset. Alex points his gun right at Nissa's heart. Nissa closed her eyes.

The gun Alex was holding fell. Alex looked at Nissa who was still closing her eyes.

"You.." said Alex so upset. He saw Nissa's hands and body trembling with fear. Alex touched Nissa's cheek. Nissa opened her eyes slowly.

"You're so pretty wearing a veil like this. I wish I could find the same woman as you, Nissa."

Nissa was shocked when Alex suddenly hugged her. Nissa did not refuse, she returned Alex's embrace.

"Sorry to scare you" Alex continued. Nissa nodded in Alex's arms.

"Father! Why are you doing this?" arin exclaimed from inside the papa's room. Arnold who heard his daughter's voice chose to remain silent. He then put his clothes in the suitcase.

"Papa is weak, how could papa hand over mama to someone else so easily? Arin is disappointed, Arin is disappointed. Papa is not a real man!"

"Enough! You don't know anything, Arin!" Arin gasped when he heard Arnold's scream. Her tears flowed and soaked her smooth cheeks. Arnold closed his eyes. He was very sorry to have yelled at his daughter.

"I'm sorry, baby," said Arnold pulling Arin in his arms. Arin is sobbing.

"Why did you do this?" ask Arin in between her stuffing.

"Papa wants to make up for all the mistakes papa in the past, keep mom for papa. Don't cry" Arnold replied, rubbing his daughter's head. Arin tightened his embrace. His heart ached to accept the harsh reality in his family. He was not willing if his parents had to be separated.

"Papa has to go, take good care of yourself" Arnold said, letting go of his arms. He picked up the suitcase and left. Arin doesn't know what else to do. He was sitting on the bed.

Why is everything like this?

"I just found out in this world there are stupid men like you," said someone next to him. Arnold, surprised, looked over. His eyes are perfectly round.

"You!" arnold did not believe what he saw. Alex is sitting next to him.

"I'm sorry I was born from the same stomach as you, you're a weak, jerky guy" Alex smiled bitterly. Arnold turned his face back.

They kept quiet for a long time.

"Do you hate me?" alex opened the conversation. Arnold ignored Alex's question.

"How did you get in?" arnold asked to switch the conversation.

"I've got doors everywhere, I stole from doraemon" replied Alex. He was upset that Arnold did not answer his question. Arnold who heard that smiled faintly.

"Why are you here, all I've given you. I hope you still think of me as your brother" Arnold said, staring at Alex. Alex looked straight ahead.

"You're still my brother at all times, but for now you're not my brother anymore."

Arnold looked at Alex confusedly.

"Basic stupid! Do you think your wife's stuff, huh? You easily give it to me? You're still a jerk, you'll never change" Alex said in an exasperated tone.

"Back, stupid! Before your wife really took me away," Alex continued. Arnold looked at Alex. Then he hugged his sister tightly. Honestly, he misses her a lot. Alex returned his embrace. Her tears could no longer be broken. The pain that he had so far had just overflowed.

"I'm sorry" said Alex. Arnold shed his tears. He was a little surprised and rubbed his wet cheeks. He hasn't cried in a long time. He smiles.

"I'm sorry." Arnold rubbed his sister's back. He promised he would never let his family break.

Ara hugged Nissa who kept quiet inside the room. Nissa felt like everything was completely gone. Ara did decide to go home to her in-laws. Because he knew the Digantara family needed full support.

"Sister, let Arin take care of mom. Ichal was crying" said Arin sitting next to Ara. Ara nodded.

"Ara came out for a bit" said Ara, peeping at Nissa. Then he rushed out.

Arin looked at Nissa who was still silent. It's been an hour and Nissa's back home. He didn't say a word when he found out Arnold had left the house.

"Ma, don't make Arin sad" said Arin hugging her gently. Arin cried while hugging Nissa.

"Is it still like that?" ask Dara to Ara. Ara nodded. He took Ichal from his mother's sling.

"Looks like he's sleepy. Poor she must be tired," said Dara rubbing her grandson's head. Ara nodded. He put Ichal to bed and began giving breast milk.

"Tomorrow at the hospital, Alan must understand Ichal's condition like this. Tomorrow the mother is keeping Ichal at home" said Dara.

"Yes mother, Ara is also tired," said Ara staring at Ichal who began to close his eyes. Then Ara closed her eyes. But only a few seconds did he close his eyes. The sound of an explosion from outside managed to shock him. Ara rubbed Ichal's chest, as she was also surprised. After Ichal fell asleep again, Ara rushed out.

"What's wrong?" ask Arin. Arin shakes.

Nissa who had already first ran out suddenly glued. He closed his mouth as if he could not believe what he was seeing right now. Arnold knelt before him holding a large bouquet of roses.

Arin, Ara and Dara were also no less surprised by what they saw.

"This is 99 flower arrangements for you, baby. As my apology," said Arnold grabbing Nissa's hand. Nissa's tears melted. He didn't expect Arnold to do something like this.

"Wake up, mas." Nissa helped Arnold to wake up. She looked at her husband's face. And hugged him tightly.

"No need to do this, you came back here to make me happy" Nissa rubbed Arnold's face.

"It looks like I'm being worked on by that idiot" Arnold murmured. Nissa who could still hear that looked at Arnold full of question marks.

"Alex, he told me to do all this" Arnold said. Nissa laughed crisply at hearing that. Nissa looked towards the gate. Alex was staring at him from the car. Alex smiled, and then he left.

"I love you" said Arnold hugging Nissa with great affection.

"Ekhem, do you want to be like that?" asked Arham who had been at Dara's side since when. Dara just smiled hearing that.

"I love you" continued Arham hugging his wife. Ara and Arin who heard that could only look at each other.

"Suffering single mah gini," said Arin who immediately left. Ara could only smile.

If Alan was here, he would have said that, too. Ah, I miss him so much.
