Chapter 46. He's Too Precious

The night grew quieter, not a single star peeked at the earth. As if he wanted to keep hiding.

Since then, Ara had been unable to sleep at all. He continued to flip his body because drowsiness never came. He took his cellphone which had been sitting sweetly on the nightstand. Ara let out a heavy breath. He looked at the contents of the message Alan sent him a few hours ago.

'Honey, sorry hubby couldn't reach you. Hubby can only send messages. Hubby is sorry. Hubby's fine here. Hope you're okay there too. Hubby misses dear, but hubby is forced to bury it all. Sorry, good night, honey. I love you.'

Ara again let out a heavy breath. He tilted his body. He threw his phone on the bed.

"Ara misses hubby a lot" she said, pulling her blanket. His eyes are hard to shut. He really misses the husband who has been busy for several weeks with his activities in the land of uncle Sam.

"Bi, it's been almost a year that we've been apart. Distance really torments Ara bi. Ara misses hubby so much." Ara wiped away her tears that just slid away. The longing in his chest was overflowing.

Alan seemed to be busy with the file in front of him, with some of his friends also doing the same thing. His daily life is filled with international journals and some research that has been done by their seniors.

"Arlan, please bring this file to the room prof. I'll go out for a while to buy food, I know you guys are getting hungry." Said one of the seniors who helped them in the research that will be carried out. Alan smiled and nodded. True what his senior said, if his stomach has rebelled to be filled immediately. Alan looked at the clock that was coiling in his hand. Quickly, it's almost one o'clock.

Alan chose to take up research in the business field. He wants to learn a lot from businesses big and small. He wants to pry their business pedestrians starting from small things. He will implement and develop the system in his company. It is not easy to hold a company that is already so big. Alan must have a lot of experience. Therefore, every day he always went to some companies that are quite famous, so there is no time for him to rest. Alan's evenings will be again busy with the results he gets after giving away several companies.

After giving the Professor important documents. Alan went back into his room. He saw his untouched phone. He touched his phone just to let Ara know. Alan smiled as his phone screen turned on and revealed the face of Ara who was smiling widely.

"I miss you so much honey" said Alan staring at Ara's photo.

In Ara's room, she felt the vibrations of her heart. It was like hearing Alan's words. Longing is really taking hold of both. Ara closed her eyes, hoping that she could have a good dream with her lover.

Alan was still faithfully staring at the picture of his wife.

"Wow, she is very beautiful. You should always hide from us. She's so pretty." Alan was very surprised to hear the words of his theme that Alan was not aware of its existence. Alan immediately closed his phone.

"He's too precious for you to see" Alan said back to focus on his laptop.

"I know the reason why you've always rejected our call to play outside. It turned out that my sister-in-law was really very beautiful. I can't wait to see his real face." said the yellow-haired man who is often greeted Michael. Alan who heard that could only sigh heavily.

"Hmm.I understand now why Arlan is so hard to conquer by the women out there. It turned out that his heart was already filled with beautiful angels. There's no place for me to nest in there anymore" said the only female friend in the room. They used to call her Jane. Alan was already used to his teammate. They joke more often. Jane was the only woman who joined them. For Alan, Jane Sanga is much different from other women who like to tease him.

"Let's see later, if brother-in-law comes here. I'll tease you, I want to know how she reacts." Jane smiled to herself imagining the ridiculous idea.

"He won't be affected" Alan said. His hands and eyes are still loyal to his favorite flat objects. Jane, who heard that, looked upset. Alan glanced at the girl at a glance, then he smiled when he saw Jane's upset face.

"I'm not the same as you." replied Alan briefly.

"Hey, stop flirting with my still-holy sister. He is not worth comparing to you. You're so dirty." Alex threw a wad of paper that hit Michael's head. Michael was very upset.

"Hey, you should be glazed. We're both no different." said Michael did not accept Alex's words.

"At least I'm a voter. Unlike you, you take everything home." Alex said.

"Enough! my ears hurt so much to hear meaningless arguments from your mouth. I'm sure Arlan was tired of hearing it, too, just that he didn't dare to talk." Jane rolled her eyes. Alan could only smile.

"You're so sweet when you're mad at honey" Alex blinks his eyes. Jane who saw that suddenly nausea.

"Arlan, how's your company?" jane asked regardless of Alex's words. Alex is the most annoying guy.

"Okay, everything went well. Although a little complicated because it has to go through online." replied Alan.

"Arlan, can I be your second wife?" joking Jane who managed to make Alex surprised. Alex was very interested in Jane. To her, Jane is a different woman. He's not at all affected by the ray.

"May, if you can see our affection" Alan replied casually. Jane pursed her lips in annoyance at Alan's reply.

"Marry me, I'll make you happy" Alex said. Jane rolled her eyes in disbelief at Alex's words.

"Huh, it's impossible. I don't like second-hand stuff." said Jane, who stabbed Alex in the heart.

"You're so adorable, baby. Your words pierce my heart." said Alex. Jane shook her head slowly. He didn't think about that guy. Already often his mouth issued spicy words, but still did not work.

'Basic idiot!'

"Ah yes Lan, this morning I saw your woman coming. She looks so sexy in that material-less dress. He said he missed you. If he teases me, I'll go straight to devour him." Michael said so loudly.

"What are you ravenous about?" ask someone who has managed to make it all startled. Michael became misbehaved when he saw the figure of the Professor who suddenly came. They stood up and gave their greetings.

"Mic, you're coming with me" said Professor Luis. Michael's face suddenly turned pale. The other three friends could only bow. Alex held back his laughter.

"The spirit of Mic, we support whatever happens" Alex whispered. Alan and Jane were just smiling and looking at Michael's pale face. Michael pointed his fist at his three friends. He followed Professor Luis into the room.

Alex and Jane laughed. Then they return to their respective duties. Alan smiled as he shook his head. At most Michael's gonna get a little wobble from the Professor. Because Alan knows, the professor did not like men who like to play with women.
