The Degree

Virgo stares at the watch in his hand and finds only fifteen more minutes left before the nuclear detonates. It's not a lot of time and he can't negotiate on this.

In the end Virgo chose to give up and contact his colleagues to retreat.

After some debate with Alexis, Virgo finally looked at the woman. Although it is unknown what face he made, it is certain that he was not happy by this situation.

“Tell me what your name is. On another assignment I will definitely kill you.”

The woman smiled faintly but her eyes stared intently, “Indri Calista. You can remember it. By the way my Degree is harmless so you don't need to be aware of it.”

“Indri Calista .. I will definitely hit you.”

“Fu fu, come whenever you want. Anyway I'm not interested in dropping my pride by getting beaten up by a monkey.”

Virgo has no interest in exchanging more words so he chooses to leave without saying much. Arthur just looked at him silently, he did not intend to pursue him because time did not provide support.

Arthur then stared intently at Indri because his position was unknown whether he was a partner or an opponent. To the person who activated the nuclear, Arthur obviously could not lower his guard even though his opponent was female.

As if aware of that gaze, Indri widened his eyes and raised both of his hands, “Let's just relax, I'm not a friend or an enemy. In this situation I will be cooperative and not try to hurt you and your group.”

“In addition it is quite the opposite, I command my people to save your comrades. If you can't believe it, let's go to the Shelter to find them.”

Arthur didn't believe him right away. In this place trust is a very expensive thing because it can stab you. Instead of being stabbed, Arthur will do various selections to believe.

“I don't want to die because of the weapon I activated. It's no different from the previous less intelligent people who chased me like a stalker.” Indri made a disgusted face and seemed annoyed.

Indri indirectly said that his mother was a prostitute and had no interest in taking care of it. Every harsh sentence he said came because Indri never learned how to be polite.

“Yeah, put that aside. You better come with me if you want to meet your other sheep.” Indri began to walk the lead indifferently.

To be honest he didn't care what would happen to Arthur, but because of all this over someone's arrangement he couldn't just let Arthur go.

In the end Arthur decided to follow him while remaining vigilant. Their goal is the same as the nearest Shelter so there is no doubt they will take the same path as Virgo.

Ray, Erina and Ben arrive somewhere that isn't a Shelter. They were close to him but they were currently in a dark forest and far from the burning location.

“Can't you shut up a little, Erina?” Ray said a little irritatedly and threw Erina to the ground.

Her mouth and hands were bound so that Erina could neither speak nor scream. His gaze showed tremendous anger towards Ray, he also seemed to want to cry.

Ray then sees Ben demonstrating sign language. He seemed to convey why Ray did not untie Erina's mouth so she could talk.

“Everything is not so simple. This woman, her degree is in her mouth. You may not be affected, but I who already have debt will be affected.”

Erina widened her eyes with surprise, she obviously did not expect Ray would understand how his Degree worked.

At first Erina was convinced that Ray had some speculation about his Degree, but Erina was sure Ray shouldn't come to that conclusion.

“Name Card is very useful because even a stranger can move your hand to open it.” Ray leaked a way to let him know about Erina's Degree.

When she first discovers Erina is severely injured due to Virgo's torment, and when Terumi goes looking for a rope to take Erina down. Ray took advantage of the opportunity to peek at Erina's Name Card.

Ray then crouched down and held Erina's cheek firmly.

“Your degree is a debt collector. People who owe you a debt of gratitude will not refuse the things you asked for.”

Erina was really shaking, she couldn't keep her poker face with all the surprises that exist right now.

“You wonder if I have really tamed you. In fact, I hate being used by others. There will be no forgiveness for those who do.”

Ray won't forgive those who use it. But for Erina's case there are things that make her unable to release Erina.

“You are indeed a cruel person as Indri.” said

A fifteen-year-old teenager emerges from the darkness of the forest. By his side was another woman who was the same age and had the same face as him.

The first woman wore a pink sweater and ate candy, while the twin wore a black jacket with a short skirt and long black socks.

“You're late, Rina, Rani.” Ray got up and looked at the two twin boys, “Can you use your Degree to brainwash and hypnotize this woman? I can't kill him because he can still be useful.”

Ray didn't kill Erina at this stage because he felt sure he could use it. Initially he wanted to tame Erina on the premise that Ray managed to create a situation where the Order was killed.

But before his plan is executed, who would have thought that Sebastian would precede him so Ray changed his plan. Then, if Indri had not come to contact him then the present situation would never have happened.

“Yes, because his request came from a handsome man, I can't refuse him.”

“If you want to give us a gift, then we will do.”

“Yes, whatever it is I'm going to do.” Ray didn't think teenagers like them would ask for anything weird, so he wouldn't hesitate.

Sacrificing some DP for them was a bargain price rather than the great benefit that Ray would get after controlling Erina.

Able to ask anything from the person who has the forest of mind to him. His request would be like an absolute order so there was no way to evade as long as his orders were heard. His power will be active if the target recognizes that he has a debt to the owner, or at least says thank you.

Lately I rarely up, or at least, updates do not run every day. That's because there's something else I'm running. As always, I can't be consistent with anything.

I'm working on another novel called Sleeping Prince. The novel is on a platform called F1zz0.

There are now 7 chapters, and it will be updated at least every day.

Another thing, about The Degree. There have been some changes in the plan in the arc that I run. One of them is the Erina Degree disclosure that I accelerated. The rest will be safe. Relax, there's no one degree I'm going to change.
