“Are you really going to execute that plan, Ray?” indri asked, he still had a little disbelief. “It's not like you. Didn't think that you would use such a simple thing.”
Indri hopes that Ray will carry out a more complex and complicated plan as usual. He would do various things that could go his own way without the need for him to intervene directly.
Now different, Ray can be said to use a rough way to destroy the group.
“I'm sure about this. Even if the way is so conspicuous, this one is convincing.”
Ray explains that they cannot use frontal attacks because they are likely to lose in number and overall strength.
In addition, the place of those people is not possible to carry out blatant attacks considering that the security forces can come at any time. If that happened then they would be in trouble to avoid a manhunt from the police.
Lucky to escape, but what if not? They may die of suspected terrorism.
“In addition, we will use the chaos to finish off those who escaped. Even if maybe I want to snatch the key.”
At least that bastard should have two keys or more considering he also took Rani's.
Ben leaned back into his chair and let out a long sigh, “We will use the plane to destroy the building, huh? It reminds me of what happened in the past. About the plane that crashed into Empire state.”
It had happened for a very long time, even Ray and the others had not been born. The event is recorded in history considering many conspiracies and various things that have not been known to date.
“We will make the same tragedy for the second time, yes?” indri gumam.
Ray's planning to tear down the building and take out anyone in it. Of course it will be troublesome if the key owner is buried in it but Ray does not think too much about it.
The person who can imitate and disguise it is a threat, as long as it can bury it then there is no problem. Besides, Secret has to do something about it. It's not funny if there are only four golden keys because the gray keys are missing.
“Yes. I'm not stupid enough to go head-to-head with an underworld dog. Even if they are not destroyed, the destruction of the building is enough.”
Ray has no idea what the group's name is and what its leader looks like. Facing an opponent whose information was unknown in detail was a bad way to fight.
“Wait a minute,” Indri pulled out his ringing phone and went out to make a call.
Ray certainly didn't try to stop him because it wasn't his business. Now it's just him and Ben looking at each other.
Both of them had nothing good to talk about, the atmosphere felt awkward. Ben may not hold up about it until he finally starts a conversation.
“Hey, Ray. I wonder, what will you do after it's over?”
“What I'm going to do .. I don't think about it that far.”
Ray only focused on what was in front of him until he did not think much about the future. Obviously, Ray's top priority is to stay alive until Secret's trials are over. After that, he didn't know what to do.
“I have never had such a big goal as a dream or a goal to achieve. How about you?”
“True too,” Ben smiled. “It is likely that the Degree will be attached to me until the end of life. I don't know how this will end, but at least I want to show pantomime to the whole world.”
Ben seemed so in love with pantomime, it was obvious considering he had the Degree.
Again, the degree is a form of dreams, ideals, hopes and everything that a person does. The degree is like a tool to realize the true identity of a person or his dreams.
“With your Degree I think your dream can be realized soon ”
“Yes, just hope I stay alive until I make it happen,” Ben chuckles before looking at Ray meaningfully. “How about you? Do you really have nothing to achieve? What if you follow the flow of the Degree you have.”
If talking about Degree then Ray can not answer with certainty. His degree was not something he could follow as a way of life as Ben was.
“Now, I honestly doubt whether my Degree really embodies my identity or not. Even I don't understand how it works.”
Ray knows that he is revealing information that should not be told to Ben, but for some things he feels he has to talk about it.
“You cannot use ... Your degree?” Ben was stunned by it. “What does that mean ... you survived so far ... without using it?”
Ray just looked at me with a face that said it was not surprising.
“What's the problem?”
Ben downed his saliva, involuntarily his back breaking out in cold sweat. Ray may think it's not something extraordinary, but in fact he's really something.
‘What kind of madman can survive those many terrible incidents without his Degree?’
Everyone survives by relying on and relying on his Degree. Even Ben is not confident enough to say that he can survive to this day if he does not rely on his Degree.
‘That means this guy is very dangerous, he can surpass the miracle of Degree.’
Ben now understands why Indri does not want to cross with Ray. It's a good choice not to try to challenge him.
“You really are something ... so far only you I know can't use Degree.”
“Well, that's because I never told you much about my Degree,” said Ray, starting to smile thinly. “Do you wonder what kind of degree I have? And, you must want to know why I can't act in line with my Degree.”
Seeing Ben's reaction was obvious enough, he had a great curiosity about it. The reason Ray doesn't talk much about his Degree is because it's profitable.
Hiding it is a choice, but Ray himself does not feel it will cause much trouble just from exposing it to the current situation.
“I was curious about that, just to find out I'm sure you'll ask for something in return. So, I'll pass by for now,” Ben smiled wryly, he felt like he missed a golden opportunity.
“So, very unfortunate. Well, I myself don't really care if my Degree is revealed widely. But for security I did choose to keep it with myself.”
Ray does not seriously want to say about his Degree, but if Ben wants to know it then Ray will not hesitate. As Ben thought, Ray would ask for something else instead. For example, the degree belongs to Indri.
Despite Ryouma's notes, Ray still has no clear picture of his Degree.
‘Note it just tells that Indri will fall asleep and start delirious even experience other strange things like fatigue to fear.’
Ray does not know what Indri is doing in his sleep but surely he is using his Degree. Just what kind of things can people do while sleeping?
A few minutes later Indri returned in a hurry, he immediately whispered something to Ben. I don't know what it is but Ben's face soon deteriorates and he intends to go with Indri.
“Sorry for this, Ray. We have to go take care of some things. We will continue the conversation another time,” Indri said walking away. “Come Ben!”
“Ya!”
Ray wants to say something, but the two leave quickly, leaving Ray alone at the restaurant.
He was unhappy with his current situation and looked at his desk.
“Sial, I'm stuck again. Those bastards ... do they have a habit of leaving bills to others?”
It was the second time Ray had to pay Ben's meal bill and the first time Indri's. The most surprising part was that both of them ordered food that was not cheap, even had a large appetite.
Ray reached into his pocket and took out his wallet, he began to furrow his brows.
“However, I don't have a credit card. I'm not sure I can afford it with the money I have.”
Now, there are only two things that could have happened to Ray.
First, he may have to do the dishes at the restaurant because he can't afford it, or the second. Go and escape without paying.
...****************...
“Sial! Why does the battery run out at a time like this?!” Hiroshi cursed in annoyance. Of course, it was because when he called Indri and asked for help, Hiroshi initially wanted to convey his invention but did not have time because the phone died.
There were some bald and fat people wearing black suits were running around. They were the pursuers who were currently trying to catch him.
Hiroshi went back into hiding and let out a long sigh.
“Sial, it's getting harder,” Ryouma muttered.
“What should we do?” asked a woman of her age, her partner who was also chased by those people.
That woman was someone who had a Degree like her, a Chuunibyou. A woman who somehow idolizes kunoichi for watching ninja-themed anime.
Indri initially did not intend to acquire the group of women because dealing with Hiroshi himself sucks, but if talking about the ability then the woman can not be underestimated.
“We just have to hide first until Ben and miss come. I'm not sure I can escape from them considering this place is already under siege.”
The men had spread out and were hiding in the streets to intercept them fleeing. In short they have been trapped and it only takes time until both of them are caught.
“Where are the two boys? Have you met?!”
“But! They're like agile rats!”
“Sial! Don't let them go. We can't let our plans unfold!”
“What should we do, Hyung?”
“What to do? Of course keep looking, fool! We've surrounded this place so that little bastard can't escape!”
Hiroshi was bluffing his teeth, the situation was becoming clearer that they would not get away without being caught.
“At least one of us should have a survivor to convey our discovery,” Hiroshi looked at the girl next to him. “Hiromi, you should return safely and tell miss also Ben about this.”
“What?” Hiromi is stunned by Hiroshi's decision. “What will you do?”
The answer is clear, to let one man escape from the pursuit of many wolves, then a sheep must sacrifice to save the other sheep.
“... I'll distract them and try to make a fuss. You take advantage of that and go.”
Hiromi was against the decision Hiroshi made because it was tantamount to her subverting herself.
“I can't accept that! If you get caught then it is equivalent to death!”
Without needing to be told Hiroshi had clearly understood it. The best way to silence a leaked plan is to eliminate it. It's a simple thing and anyone will do it.
“Let's just relax, I don't intend to die here. At least, I'm sure they won't kill me.”
“From the plan, more precisely called bet.”
Hiroshi himself hesitated to do so or did not remember the odds of winning the bet were small. Even so he could not waste much time because he did not have many options.
“All this will depend on you, Hiromi. If you manage to escape then everything should go as it should.”
Hiroshi had no intention of revealing it, there was no time for him to explain in detail.
“Remember, there's only one chance for you. Don't waste it!”
Leaving that line Hiroshi quickly came out of hiding and fled. Hiromi wants to say something but doesn't have time because the bald men start chasing after Hiroshi.
With bitter heart Hiromi can only deliver, “Please be fine!” Hiromi started walking away cautiously.
“That's him! The boy ran westward, quickly chase him!”
Hiroshi ran nimbly through the small alleys of deserted people. Many started shooting at him but so far no one has landed on his body.
“Caught you, boy!” Sung Jin intercepts him from the front and shoots Hiroshi, but he is also deft.
Hiroshi quickly pulled out his katana and repelled the bullet in one fell swoop.
“What?!” Sung Jin was stunned.
Hiroshi gave a small smile before kicking the wall next to him, he then jumped up and made Sung Jin's bald head a foothold. The two-way siege was passed through him as if it was nothing.
The mafia was amazed by his extraordinary actions.
“What is a super power like the Young Master and the little Haiyan have?”
“Learnest. I want it too.”
Sung Jin felt annoyed and really angry. Not only did he make it through, but Hiroshi also stomped on his head which to Sung Jin himself was like his pride being stepped on.
“What are you guys doing fast chase that son of a bitch!”
“Ah— good, hyung!” Sung Jin's men straightened up and ran after Hiroshi out of fear by Sung Jin's wrath.
On the other hand Sung Jin did not move and stared at the direction where Hiroshi had escaped. Sung Jin picked up his phone and looked for the contacts of his men who were guarding on the other side.
“If it's not wrong that son of a bitch has one more friend. Then it means he's just bait,” muttered Sung Jin.
When his call was picked up Sung Jin immediately ordered, “Jaga east side as best as possible!”
“What? Didn't the boy run west?”
“It's just a feed. This little bastard is not stupid, he sacrificed himself for his partner to successfully escape.”
“Alright!”
The call ended, Sung Jin smiled with satisfaction. With that it was only a matter of time until Hiroshi was caught.
“Little deer will never be able to lie to forest tigers who are good at hunting.”
As a person who lives in a dark world, Sung Jin is neither naive nor stupid. Such a pattern would be easily read by him. The key to knowing the pattern is to remain level-headed no matter how angry he is at the moment.
On the other hand Hiroshi kept running while stalling, he made a mess like dropping the trash boxes and other things to hinder the pursuers.
If lucky he may be able to escape, but if not then he must win the bet.
Even so, Hiroshi felt strange because the pursuers were not as many as he expected. His premonition became bad, most likely they had realized his plan.
“Tch! It's faster than I expected!”
Hiroshi was aware that those underworld dogs would realize he was just a decoy, but he did not expect it to be this fast. There's no time to change plans let alone tell Hiromi about this.
“I have to make a big mess!”
Hiroshi held his pocket, at first he did not plan to use it because it did not fit the samurai, but Indri continued to force him to bring.
It's an emergency now, Hiroshi won't let Hiromi get caught. Therefore he had to provoke the great anger of the mafia.
While at the intersection of the alley Hiroshi increased his running speed.
The mafia did the same thing despite not being able to get close to him.
“Sial! How big is this brat's stamina?!”
The mafia began to run out of breath, as they arrived at the intersection and turned, a round, rolling object. They knew it was, of course, a dangerous familiar object.
“FARAT!”
THE DUAR!
The huge explosion engulfed them and created a short death.
Hiroshi continued running while ignoring the explosion behind him. At least he managed to stop the pursuers and now he's turning east.
In front of him was a mobster who hurriedly pulled a gun out of his pocket, but Hiroshi moved faster.
“Basic little mouse!”
The trigger pulled him and fired a few bullets. Hiroshi started to zig-zag quickly and dodged all those attacks.
“Sorry, die in peace!” Hiroshi drew his sword and cut off the mafia head as gently as cutting tofu.
Regardless of the blood flowing, Hiroshi ran quickly to make an even bigger fuss.
“There is one more bomb left, and I have a gun with three bullets only. I must use it wisely.”
As Hiroshi ran and exited the alley, in the blink of an eye the big hand was right in front of his face. He did not respond and had to take a hard hit on his face.
His nose was bleeding, his vision blurred and twitched. For a second he almost lost consciousness, but in the end Hiroshi managed to get up.
He stands up while staggered and finds the bald man who led the mafia to be the culprit.
“You're tough enough to be the size of a brash rat.”
It was Sung Jin who delivered a punch right on Hiroshi's face. That person had already guessed that Hiroshi would be spinning around in direction. Although the previous explosion was alarming yet he was not in vain waiting there.
Hiroshi put his hand on the handle of his katana and kept his distance. The reason he did not attack was simple, the man in front of him was definitely not a weakling.
Moreover, Hiroshi's current condition was quite severe thanks to his punch. He therefore planned to buy some time by talking.
”I've heard, that there are a bunch of humans with superpowers or weird talents. It seems that you are one of them considering the speed of movement, dodging and your abilities are not suitable for teenagers like you.”
Sung Jin pulled his gun out of his pocket, which made Hiroshi even more wary. At this time his vision was still blurred so it was difficult to see which way Sung Jin would shoot later.
But beyond Hiroshi's expectations, instead of shooting Sung Jin actually threw away his gun and instead pulled out two folding knives.
“What are you doing?” hiroshi asked out of curiosity.
“What else if not fighting,” Sung Jin said. “I'm curious about how powerful a superhuman like you is. Previously I could not win a panco fight with Dong Wok because of his large body and physique. But what about you?”
Sung Jin wondered if he who did not have any superpowers would be able to match those who had them. Although it was initially hard to believe that there were humans who possessed such power, after seeing Haiyan and Dong Wok, there was no choice for Sung Jin to believe.
“You must be crazy. Throw away your profits just for nothing.” Hiroshi slowly regained his sight and composure.
“It's not in vain. You may be aware that we have realized that you were just bait while your partner ran away. For that reason you are turning directions and making a mess for us to focus on you.”
Hiroshi ran out of his sentence, he furrowed his brows as Sung Jin managed to guess everything. As expected that it is not easy to fool the bastards who live in a dirty world.
“You naive boy. You are just a big fish in a small pond and do not know the vastness of the ocean.”
Sung Jin knows all about Hiroshi thanks to his experience dealing with the trash in a dirty world.
“Don't worry about anything, your partner will be caught soon. Now that you have regained your focus, then fight seriously.” Sung Jin started putting up his horses while smiling.
“Do not regret what you have decided.” Hiroshi will inevitably have to face it if he wants to save Hiromi immediately.
“Do not worry. I already have so many regrets that nothing will ever make it worse.”
The two remained silent for some time, before Sung Jin finally swung his big hand horizontally.
Hiroshi slightly lowered his head and dodged it, but the other attacks came vertically. Once again he avoided it but now a powerful kick came towards him.
Without having time to respond Hiroshi had to accept the kick. He began to wonder one thing. Although Sung Jin had a large body, he was able to move that fast.
Hiroshi then corrected his posture and lunged from the front. His knife and katana clashed with each other until they caused a spark.
If dealing with a clash of weapons like this, Hiroshi would certainly come out victorious. Sung Jin obviously started to get overwhelmed and had to accept some scratches on his arm.
Sung Jin gloriously swung his hand towards Hiroshi with the intention of stabbing his head, but Hiroshi held back his pace with his katana. Even so Sung Jin's true purpose was that.
He made Hiroshi have to hold the knife in his left hand, while he swung his original injured right hand. His actions made the blood on his hands hit Hiroshi's eyes and blinded him.
“Because of you!” Sung Jin gave a powerful kick in the chest, Hiroshi bumped into the wall later.
“I admit you are strong, but very naive.” Sung Jin kicked Hiroshi's head against the wall quite forcefully.
“You ... cheat!” Hiroshi cursed as his head began to bleed.
“There are no cheats and honest in the life-and-death fight of the boy. There are only winners and losers.”
