Last Resistance

Ray took a deep breath and took a step back, as Edward nodded and gave his mark to his partner, Steve also began to prepare.

“In a matter of three ... 1, 2, 3-!”

Steve jumps fast while running a little, followed by Jane who tries her best not to slow down.

The front went well until Edward jumped to the second cube.

The first cube slowly descended and before it completely fell Ray stepped up then moved to cube two quickly.

Ray would not have to go faster. Since Steve and Jane have already reached the other side, there is no doubt about it.

“Quick Diana!” Jack urged as only Diana who seemed hesitant jumped up.

“I know! But I'm worried about falling ..” Diana stared down where the sharp iron thorns were ready to pierce through her body.

“Just relax, I'll catch you with a rope if something happens to you!” Steve tries to calm him down because Edward and Jack are going to have a hard time.

Diana gulped and closed her eyes and jumped while dancing. His legs almost slipped when he arrived on the other side but Jane and Steve compactly pulled him.

“Thank you!” Diana began to cry and hugged Jane, her body completely trembling.

Jack immediately took a step faster knowing Ray and Edward would be able to compensate.

“No need to hesitate to run!” Ray encourages Jack to move faster.

Jack answered him with action and quickened his pace.

It didn't take long for him to jump to the other side.

When he gets to the cube that's been under. Edward had to jump and land with half of his body almost falling.

“Good work! Pull her!” Steve and Jack pull Edward.

Ray was in the tenth cube and jumped but his height was impossible. Then he took the thing in his pocket.

Something he had prepared since before entering the hurdle and before the Market could not function.

Ray throws the object and reaches right on the other side. Jumping with all his strength Ray was unable to reach the other side and fell.

Ray tied the rope he held to his waist and wrapped it around with his right hand so as to avoid his fall.

That's natural, his hands will not be strong to withstand the weight of Ray which is approximately 60kg.

“Tch! You survived even though I wish otherwise.” Only Steve expressed his hatred without a doubt.

Ray doesn't care what he says. For now is his left hand, it does not hurt so much but Ray will not be able to exert his best abilities.

The third task requires all its strength. Another purpose of having Edward's group is to go through the hell that lies ahead there.

“You look good, do we have to continue to the next stage?” edward asked as he stared at the obstacles they were about to face.

“We take a short break to recover energy. Even I don't need to explain it about what obstacles are ahead there.”

The obstacles that Secret might have had were not planned in such a way, but the easy obstacles that became hell as it was aggravated by Erina.

Ray himself does not have absolute confidence to get through it alone. He needed someone else to be a shield for him.

He's not worried about himself but about his friends. Especially the girls Jane and Diana.

To reach the final stage they must go through a deadly battle with the other participants.

In addition, there are guard robots that participate in the fight and prevent participants from passing the path just like that.

“Maybe we can face other humans but .. isn't it impossible to defeat those two giant gundam robots?!” Steve said with a little anger and annoyance.

Two robots are almost as tall as a two-story house. No matter how good a person with a Degree would feel it was impossible to defeat him.

What kind of way is worth going through?

Ray does not think his Degree will be useful but for this time he must consider understanding what his Degree is like.
