The Degree
Intrusion

As tear gas is used and Leo begins his murder, Ray and Terumi move into the building.

Surely there are some people who will find them but Ray smartly gives unexpected advice.

“They have no clothes or identification to know if they are from the same union. We're gonna run riot while pretending to be chasing Leo. Quietly we will take a step closer to the building.”

If they say against the direction directly then it will certainly be quickly discovered. Another case if there is one place that is empty or completely deserted guard.

“I understand.”

As he continued to run and slowly deviated from where the people gathered chasing Leo. Ray keeps making information messy.

Like saying intruders are in the north, west and other directions to mislead them.

After struggling to do various things they finally arrived at the building. Even so the main problem is that they don't know what's behind the door.

“There is a possibility that in the room there are already people preparing to beat us. We better think of another way first before choosing the door.”

Terumi started thinking hard to find the answer. He initially wanted to just walk in but it seemed that Ray's thinking was much more critical of him.

“What if we pass the ventilation? I'm sure there won't be anyone weird enough to keep waiting at the vent.”

Ventilation is a narrow place and no one will try to wait there.

Ray himself thought it was pretty good but unfortunately their opponents were not amateurs.

“Although the other members are fools but their leaders are not fools. I'm sure such a common pattern was expected by them.”

There was most likely a trap or they had made an anticipation move for one to be unable to enter for the infiltration. Ray thinks that they have prepared the poisonous gas.

“But did they really set it up to that detail? I'm sure this building doesn't belong to them because this place should be a lodging hotel that all unions can access.”

Ray did not think about it and was quite stunned. Right, from the beginning this place should not belong to the Rebellion.

Even if they had planned for a long time it was impossible to notice such a detailed thing.

“You may have a point. However I remain worried that at least they have sealed the place.”

Even if it's less likely he won't choose it. Other than how narrow the ventilation is, it will be difficult to escape if something happens.

“Then what about the back door?”

“It might be the same. It seems that we should use a way that is not subtle.”

Ray had a dead end to his mind when he thought about it. There was no other way he could do it but do it.

“Then what should we do?”

Ray shows a confident smile to her, “We will make our own way.”

“How— ah, so so.”

Terumi easily understood it. After all this time there was no way he could not understand how to commit violence.

“When the explosion is finished I will enter first, you help from behind.”

“Good.”

Ray attached a bomb to the wall and set it to explode immediately.

THE DUAR!

Big explosions happen. The people who had already pointed guns at the door in the hope of intruders entering were shocked.

Their focus is distracted and psychologically a shock to the human brain will occur for twenty seconds for them to be able to think back to normal.

At that time, Ray entered by running down a little. He zigzags and throws his knife at one of the guys.

“Slow.”

Ray shot the chin of the person who wanted to scream. The bullet went right through his head. No miracle will save him.

“That's it!”

“I told you you guys were too slow.”

Ray pulls out a grenade pin and throws it along with the corpse he just finished off.

The bomb exploded with three other people and at that moment one person behind him was about to shoot Ray.

“Matila—”

Before being able to pull the trigger a shuriken was thrown and stuck to his neck. It made him lose his balance. Surprised, he died slowly.

The first floor has been successfully cleared and Ray does not want to linger in this place.

“Let's hurry to the next floor. Stronger or weaker, but no problem. Let's strip them of their weaponry.”

Ray picks up bullets, bombs and other items he can use.

Terumi looks reluctant to do so but to survive she needs to dirty her hands.

Live by knocking others down to build a ladder so he can stay alive.

“Ya.”

Several times Terumi was about to vomit while taking things from the corpse.

He might be a little used to blood and corpses. Just from far away, he was used to it. But ransacking corpses was a different matter.

He could see the wounds and internal organs of his corpse. Thickened blood and its pungent fishy smell were inevitable.

Ray felt cruel for having asked women to do just that.

“You don't have to force yourself, Terumi. I can handle it. Not good if you have a headache before the previous battle.”

Terumi seemed to want to force herself again but as Ray stared intently he finally gave up.

“Good. Sorry to burden you for this.”

“Tak problems. I don't mind because it's not a heavy thing.”

Ray will be troubled when Terumi can no longer do any fighting. In the end it was much more troublesome to lose valuable combat power than to do dirty work such as stripping corpses.

They left and headed towards the second floor with great vigilance. There are various things to note.

“It appears that the electricity in this place has died. We don't need to do things like beware of CCTV.”

“Yes. But we don't know what happened on the next floor. Perhaps they would rather set a trap than put someone.” Terumi expressed her opinion.

Ray himself hesitated that they would prepare explosives on the floors he was going through. No one is stupid enough to do that.

It will happen if they are crazy or a group of people who want to kill themselves.

“We won't know what will happen next. For now let's check out what's on the second floor. I'll go alone, you rest here for a while. If anything happens I'll give you a sign.”

Ray looks serious and doesn't play games. He does not like people who are stubborn and too self-imposed.

Terumi downed her saliva, nodded awkwardly and followed her advice.

“Good. Be careful and do not hesitate to ask for my help.”

“Yes. I will definitely do it.”
