Ben himself is surprised because Arthur seems to be really after Ray right now. Indeed, Ben himself admitted that the man needed to be eliminated

On the other hand Indri was racking his brain very hard. Surely he wanted to accomplish this task, but he also could not betray Ray.

They are the enemies of the current ceasefire, Indri is willing if lost to Ray on condition that their fight does not start from betrayal.

It was the worst way to end the cooperation and start the battle.

“We can't be like that,” Ben said. “Dogs don't really understand human words.”

“What are you—” Mona became angry, but was stopped immediately.
