The Story of Ray

Tracing the second floor there were fewer people guarding. Few people yet many traps were scattered. It made the second floor more troublesome than before.

Especially when an enemy troop reported the situation to their superiors. Too bad Ray was late to kill him because he was troubled to face other people.

Terumi is the same. He was so busy covering the gap that Ray left him that he didn't realize that someone was reporting.

“We can't do anything about that. Let's rest for some time before starting.”

Ray was sure that there were at least some strong people who would confront him later. Had they cared enough about him then at least there would have been assassins sent for them.

As they drank the water they were carrying, Terumi looked at Ray curiously for some time.

Come to think of it, Ray really is hardly Asian. Her thought.

Not with thick eyebrows, lentic eyelashes and bluish eye color. His body might not be as big as a westerner. Ray like having parts of the west and asia mixed into one.

“What's up, you've been watching me ever since.” Ray noticed Terumi's gaze. It was quite disturbed at the beginning. Hoping that gaze would end however, it didn't seem so.

Terumi felt her face heat up a little when she was caught noticing. He shook his head and gave a denial to it.

“No. It's just I wonder if you're a crossbreed or something.”

Ray thought Terumi was watching him to find a gap. He seems to be thinking about unnecessary things. It was embarrassing yet what power could he do.

If Terumi questions whether he is a crossbreed or not.

“Blasteran, yes. I myself do not know but indeed my face does not look like Asian in some aspects.”

Blue eyes are not common in Asians. It is a big aspect that gives the difference between westerners and Asians.

“You don't know? Didn't your parents tell?” I don't know what the reason is, but there should be no problem telling him.

Terumi is convinced that in the Asian country, being a descendant of blaster is a great thing. Besides being unique, they also have beautiful faces.

The majority will not be anyone who is ostracized just because of blaster.

“Do not know. I don't even know who my parents are.”

Terumi closed her mouth. Shaken and not feeling good. His face seemed to have just dug something that should not have been dug up.

“I'm sorry if this is a sensitive discussion for you.”

“Tak problems. I don't care about that either.”

Ray never saw or knew who his mother was. If you talk about him his father .. if the man, the person he never liked, most likely can be called Father.

“If you look back at the man's face, I'm sure at least he's not Asian.”

There was no way he would forget the face of that person who occupied the position of the person he hated the most.

“The guy? What do you mean your dad?” Terumi asked back. Although he knows the discussion is sensitive, but if Ray does not mind saying it. He also did not mind digging it.

“You can think of it that way. Regardless of whether we are blood-bound or not. That's the guy who raised me.”

Terumi showed a gentle smile. Warm and full of love. Like a mother who sees her child telling her experiences at school.

“She must be a good person, huh?”

Ray did not answer immediately. He thought little of what "Good" meant in this context.

If good is meant is imprisoning Ray in the slums of stacked books. Pushing him to the brink of death to learn all abilities. Force him to fight with a professional for martial arts. Makes him learn to break ties and throw away his conscience. Make him a cold-blooded man who knows no affection. And, get him used to murder.

But Ray at least knows that these things will not happen in the community in general.

“You can probably think of it that way.”

Terumi smiled happily. At first he thought that Ray was a concerned child who did not know the affection of his parents.

Fortunately, he was raised by a kind father. It warmed her heart a little more.

“Sorry if this offends you. I'm a little curious as to why you are able to kill people and rummage through them so easily.”

If he's been used to murder and ransacking corpses since undergoing Secret trials, then torture isn't something people are used to.

Ray looked at Terumi. Trying to find the real intention but his movements convey that he is just curious.

Is it wise to tell it? Or lying again and again enough to keep it?

“I ..”

Without ever finishing his sentence. The words he was about to say were swallowed back into his throat.

It was due to a huge explosion that occurred outside the building. They don't know what's going on, but it seems that something happened to Leo.

Though worrying what can be done hannyalah hope.

“We've been resting here too long. Better let's continue the journey.”

Ray immediately urged to hurry forward. Terumi did not reject it at all and agreed to the option.

There are only two floors left to go. I don't know what to expect next but they are more than ready.

...[***]...

Duars!

A huge explosion suddenly occurs and Leo crashes. Although his body was slightly injured but not so severe as to hinder his movement.

“Sial! What the fuck with this guy!” Leo cursed and started running away.

A few minutes earlier as he continued his mission, someone suddenly came and jumped from the building that Ray was infiltrating.

His own arrival was extremely luxurious as he jumped from a high place without sustaining any injuries.

The next incident was that the person fired a bazooka towards Ray and caused a huge explosion earlier.

Not enough to get there. The man picked up a ball of iron marbles and threw it.

Its speed was extremely unreasonable and was almost like a shooting cannon.

With his ability Leo is able to see a little movement of the iron marbles. He avoided it thinly.

Although it looks harmless, the right choice to avoid. When the marbles hit the stone wall, who would have guessed that the stone wall would be destroyed and able to be penetrated. The marbles even destroyed a bit of ground during the landing.

“Not only does his throwing power make no sense. It seems that the iron marbles have a weight that is not light.”

Nice observation, kid. The weight of this thing is almost ten kilograms. With its speed and load, if you hit, maybe your bones will break.”

“Ordinary humans won't be able to throw such a heavy object at such insane incredible speeds!”

“Even ordinary humans won't grow claws like you. You should know, everything here is no longer an ordinary human being.”
