The Degree

The Degree
Ryouma & Hiromi

“Ability that can create a face? I don't understand what you mean.”

Hiromi may not yet know that there is a Degree that can do just that. Ryouma was confident because he had investigated and confirmed the Degree that Virgo had.

That person had Make up as his Degree, it could make him cover his deformed face with something like thin skin. Ryouma did not know but it was likely part of the cosmetics.

Although there are no two people with the same ability, but different if it is similar. Similar but not the same.

“You must remember the Rebellion leader, Virgo. The woman had a Degree that made her face become different from the original. She used her Degree, Make up. It was able to change the face of people who are less good to extraordinary.”

Ryouma had made sure of it directly with his eyes. That person, even though he had been with her for a long time yet Ryouma did not have any expectations about that.

For that reason Ryouma killed him because he was annoyed at him because his Degree was not really useful. Initially Ryouma had the belief that Indri would be the right person to occupy the throne, but in fact it was not.

For that reason also Ryouma now chose to observe the situation and wait for who would match the person he was looking for.

“You know to that extent,” Hiromi was surprised and started to feel scared. “Who are you really?”

Ryouma did not turn around, he just kept quiet and composed his own sentence. He could reveal himself as he usually did, but now there was something interesting to think of him.

He smiled with mystery, “Who am I? That's a unique question I've heard. Right, who am I, huh?”

Hiromi furrowed her brows, the man in front of her looked strange as he acted like he did not know himself. He couldn't possibly be amnesiac because he could still speak many things and even remember everything related to the Degree.

That person obviously had no memory paralysis or anything like that, but the intent of him asking himself was strange. It is questionable his sanity.

“True, what if I say that I have a spy belonging to Secret?” ryouma casually stated.

Hiromi didn't take the words seriously because it was a bad lie.

“Your lies are clear, even a child cannot be fooled,” Hiromi smiled faintly and considered Ryouma like a fool.

Ryouma just calmly smiled and continued to speak, “Then let me ask...how many Secret plans or actions did you guys manage to guess?”

If a Degree user was faced with such a question then one hundred percent of no one could answer it firmly. Even Hiromi was silenced due to the fact that Indri could not even guess the plot made by Secret.

Secret does not make something that can be guessed easily, I don't know how many times Hiromi saw Indri often cursed when he first joined him.

Cold sweat started flowing down his back, he also found that Ryouma had no doubts in his sentence. His premonition went bad. Suppose Secret infiltrated the spy among the users of the Degree, then that's a bad way.

“Secret is wilder in reaching its ambitions. You may never know this that to me Secret is like a god.”

Hiromi could not accept her sentence, even though she was an agnostic but it was outrageous to regard a Secret-like presence as a god.

“You are joking, there is no way such a figure is a god!” hiromi.

Ryouma was still the same, smiling faintly and being able to answer any Hiromi argument was as easy as breathing

The definition of a god-like existence itself has no definition limitations. Everyone can deduce for themselves the definition of a god according to their version.

Ryouma regarded Secret as a god because of his presence that brought technology, knowledge even magic medicine like Serum D was not something that humans could achieve.

Although he could not say it out loud, but Ryouma was sure that humans now would not be able to make what was created by Secret. It takes at least a few more centuries for humans to make it.

“You must be crazy!” Hiromi could no longer argue and could only give her swearing.

“No sane person in the world is sick,” Ryouma said, starting to stretch his hands. “Think how extraordinary the Degree created by Secret is. His presence is believed to change humans on this earth.”

Ryouma said that every country is in a cold war and can break out at any time if there is a stupid act such as an attack on the territory of another country.

If the cold war ends and becomes a world war, humans are believed to no longer be able to survive. Superior nations will never let their country fall alone.

If that were to happen then surely weapons of mass destruction, nukes would destroy the earth. That would make humans extinct in human hands.

But with the emergence of the Degree then everything will start to change. Countries that initially seek to destroy each other will think twice.

The existence of Degree users greatly determines the survival of mankind.

“Big countries that plan to develop weaponry when the war arrives will start to change course and try to understand Serum D and Degree.” users

All countries will start depending on the degree later. It does not mean they avoid war, but changing nuclear is not the first choice used for war.

“There is a grand scheme that has been running here. You, Indri, I don't even understand what Secret is trying to accomplish. Does he want peace? No one knows. Just thinking about it makes me almost crazy.”

Hiromi no longer had the strength to deal with Ryouma, she had obviously drowned so deep that she could no longer be saved.

“Then what will you do to me?” ask Hiromi sarcastically. “If it's true you're a Secret spy, then the choice only silences me forever, right?”

Hiromi knew that she would never be able to pull off a trick with a promise or something. Since ancient times, human speech can never be trusted forever.

Man is blessed with a mouth not only to communicate, but to speak lies.

“Membungkammu? Truth is, I'm not gonna do that. Besides, it's not easy to save you from the mafia.”

It's not funny if Ryouma saves the person who will die for him to kill with his own hands. As already stated, Ryouma would not want to take action that the risk is not worth the return.

“Then what?” ask Hiromi. “If you want to keep letting me here and be a lust-satisfying doll, then I prefer death.”

It's not that she's too proud of herself, but Hiromi believes she's not bad enough to make a man fall for her.

“It is not bad for fun, but my goal is not that simple,” Ryouma said.
