Ray & Order Meeting

Ray and Terumi had had some discussions before he started a conversation with the Order. Everything went smoothly, although not until Ray negotiated, but at least he managed to take safe steps.

Had it been necessary to negotiate then he would have secured Erina well and was forced to make a lie about her current position. Well, forget the things that won't happen again.

When everything goes so smoothly. Ray and Terumi are shocked by the actions of the Order.

“How could it possibly be?”

“Can. If it is Degree then it is not impossible for it to happen.”

Nothing seems impossible if the Degree becomes the main point then it is not impossible for someone to jump that high.

In one leap the Order was able to reach the second floor the blink of an eye. He was hanging in a small crack from a second-floor window. And, again jumping to the third floor then four until arriving at his roof in the blink of an eye.

He stood on the side of the building with his courage. Ray looked at the astonishment that the strength of the Blueeast guild chairman was extraordinary.

Is his degree some kind of superhuman? If so, it should have been an easy step for him to destroy the Redwest guild by himself. Her thought.

If he did not do so then there must be one thing that is a barrier why the two people did not do it. The fact that for two years the conditions remained the same was the driver of his assumptions.

“Where is the woman?”

Ray immediately blocks the Order from heading to Erina's place which he fortunately has already moved from the edge.

“What will you do? Unfortunately I won't let you do anything that could harm him.”

Erina is still needed by Ray in some ways. He certainly won't let go of it. Just like he has a diamond and someone intends to steal it. Ray would certainly protect him all his energy without letting him take it easily.

“Take it easy. I'm not gonna do anything to him. I'll bring it down because it's easier.”

“Yes, suppose there is one way that your words do not reverse.”

“... You, who are you? The vice chairman of Redwest is Mein. And, I know that woman very well because I know her. None of my memories have ever seen you.”

“I'm Ray Morgan. Rookie who recently joined Redwest. There won't be anyone I let hurt my union chief. Especially you, our big rival.”

Terumi who saw the tension of the situation did not know what to do. On the one hand he wanted to defend Ray, but on the other hand the Order was its chairman. Suppose he helped Ray then he would be branded a traitor.

All he could do was remain silent and remain on the neutral side. Good or bad, he'll know later. If the time comes to move to one side, that is where he will move.

“Then you're just a newbie. You can switch sides to my side. Surely you will get the same rights without the need for me to give ballast to you.”

Ray thought. Not a bad choice to switch sides because he won't get any benefit from Redwest.

But unfortunately he had to choose the safest option rather than the most profitable. One thing he can't leave behind is the long-term plan he has.

“Unfortunately I'm not the one who will move because of trivial things like. Sorry but there are some things you can not buy with property.”

The order widens its eyes. He was surprised that Ray was unmoved. Even so, it does not mean he considers Ray as a loyal person.

“Unfortunately there is nothing I want right now other than to stay alive.”

“I'll protect you by all means.”

“In fact you will not deploy an entire army to be the chariot that attracts me.”

“That is impossible, but the situation is better than Redwest which has collapsed.”

“Yes, but in the end there is no way to save me from the task, if the fifth task is successfully completed.”

After a long debate the Order finally fell silent. Not accepting a defeat from the debate, but he smiled gently.

“You have a loyal subordinate, Erina. Even without the shackles of your Degree he remains by your side.”

Ray doesn't know why he reacted that way. Does he want to destroy Erina or even care about her?

He does not believe in contradictory reactions to things that appear on the surface.

“You seem to care about him. I've thought about it several times that you guys aren't really hostile.”

The order looked at the sky with a sad and lonely smile. It was a soft face and unlike the image he usually displayed.

“Yah .. something you see on the surface alone will not be able to be a determinant of the good. It's not important. I'll take Erina with me. Suppose I try to fuck with him. Then just shoot my head. I promise my troops won't attack you.”

The Order signaled and said loudly that do not try to attack Ray and Terumi even after he was killed.

Suppose the Order dies then the position of chairman will be owned by Sebastian. And, that old man won't do anything to Ray or Terumi.

Terumi also explains that the Order and Sebastian are the ones who hold her words. He can guarantee that there will be no lies between them.

“Alright, just in case bring this bomb.”

Ray carries a square bomb that will explode if he presses it. The order refused nothing. If he kills Erina, the bomb will kill him. And, Ray wouldn't dare to blow it up carelessly because Erina would also be hit by the consequences.

“It's just my concern that you play the role of being a loyal person. To be fairer, though painful, but let Terumi hold it.”

Terumi is not the type of person who will be captivated and able to be controlled by others. That was obvious because the Order did not hesitate to hand over the life-saving button to him.

Terumi looked reluctant and felt troubled but she did not reject him at all. The order nodded and brought Erina down with him. He relied on one hand to hang on to the wall. Keep doing it until he gets down safely.

The order was just a leisurely walk, he didn't even try to get rid of the bomb. And Terumi was a little relieved that she didn't have to commit murder.

“I will go down first while you are here monitoring if only he did things that are not in line with his words.”

“You're too wary Ray. But all right, I'll do it for you.” Not refusing and accepting it with a chest. He tried to trust an Order that would not leave his word.

Ray didn't try to waste time and stepped down. Although there are some things that are disturbing but can be ignored.
