Ray and Terumi manage to escape the pursuing death. There were so many cries of crying, panic and despair in this place. The explosion had stopped a few minutes ago and managed to destroy half of this place.
Just in case Ray hides below and doesn't go to the middle of the park where everyone is. The reason was simple, it was because Arthur had not arrived yet. Ray realized that a lion was waiting for his prey.
“What a cruel,” Terumi said as she stared a little around him. “Why would anyone do something like this?”
Ray just kept quiet without saying anything because he belonged to the cruel person Terumi mentioned.
‘I didn't think the wall could be destroyed,’ thought Ray. He thought the wall would not be destroyed by the explosion but it was wrong.
If this is so then it is not impossible to eliminate enough people with his plan. Ray himself did not expect much at first but if this is what can be done. The plan will be perfect.
“What should we do?” terumi asked, looking at Ray with worry. “We must help with evacuation!”
Ray thought a little, he did not want to waste his energy to do so but he could not refuse it as well because Terumi would definitely oppose it.
Looking around him Ray was then interested in knowing one thing. He finds Arthur, Mona and Chelsea, but Ray doesn't find Eric and Leo anywhere.
“No. We better gather the people we know first,” said Ray.
Terumi looked disagreeable and a little angry, “Why? We better save everyone!”
As expected that Terumi would not agree to such a cruel thing as neglecting people's lives. The woman was still naive, she might have forgotten what kind of place this was.
“Don't you think dying now or later in the future isn't much different?” Ray looked directly into Terumi's eyes and emphasized the reality of this place.
Terumi furrowed her brows and was a little scared, she took one step back, “What do you mean?”
Ray believes that Terumi has thought about what he means but he still denies it and does not want to take the possibility. Of course, Ray will still make him admit the truth.
“You may be able to save today but you will not be able to save tomorrow and beyond. This place demands to kill each other to stay alive.”
Terumi looked down and her eyes shook, “Law of the jungle, huh? Why are they, Secret ... why are they so cruel?”
Ray certainly doesn't know what Secret wants with all of these trials other than data. What Ray knows is they're looking for someone for an unknown purpose.
“In addition, it could be that the people you saved turned to attack you in the future.”
It is more painful when the person who saved his life will threaten even maybe kill him.
“It was true but—” Terumi intended to argue, but Ray interrupted his sentence immediately.
“Think realistic. Man will forget all the good of man only for himself. Even they can kill the person who gave birth to it for life.”
Humans are creatures that are easy to forget. Even a million good things can be ignored just because of a mistake. Such is the nature of man, forgetting.
“Are you sure you won't regret it if one day the people you saved will kill you?” Ray asked Terumi for firmness once again. Making the girl's face seem to swallow something bitter.
Ray could clearly believe that the situation he mentioned would happen, Terumi or at least others would regret it. The feeling of betrayal, especially about life, is the most frightening.
“In this place— in the world there is nothing you can trust other than yourself. I live by this principle. You know my past. Even the person closest to you can be the biggest enemy of your life.”
Ray doesn't consider himself to be suffering the most in the world but he sure doesn't have many people like him. The living are confined and obliged to memorize many things since he was born only because of human selfishness.
“... you .. may be right,” Terumi bit her lip and quivered. “... let's save .. only our friend,” he said in a weak voice.
Ray patted his head gently and began to lead the way. Surely he knows which location was not hit by the explosion of his bomb but unfortunately he did not know where Ben put his.
The first thing Ray did to find Leo and Eric was to wander around the park. There is an interesting scene where robots in charge of cleaning garbage and other things try to put out the fire.
‘It ...’
Ray finds something interesting on his journey. There he saw Indri in a corner garden chair, a place where there were few people.
Indri seems oblivious to Ray's presence, he seems fixated on something to the point that Ray can shoot him right now. Ray didn't do it.
He stopped walking and saw what Indri was seeing. Something that even Ray was surprised at and certainly interested in.
“What's up, Ray?” tanya Terumi who was also watching the distance. “It? Isn't she—”
Before finishing his sentence, a huge explosion occurred again and made the entire place tremble strongly. Not only that, the next terrible scene occurred where dozens of people were burned.
People began to wara-wiri away from the location. Burning is the most painful way to die.
“What the fuck?!” Terumi could not stand still watching this in front of her eyes. “We have to help him!”
Terumi was gone before Ray could say anything.
“Yeah, let. After all, I'm also interested to see what really happened.”
The people on fire were not caused by a previous big explosion but something hard to believe. They're on fire because some crazy guy used a fire thrower.
They burned everyone around him at random, as if they only wanted to kill en masse.
“This was not part of my plan,” muttered Ray before staring at Indri in the distance who also had a surprised face.
“The woman is also not the suspect, so that means,” there is only one other group that is very likely to be the mastermind. The group that has thwarted Ray's plans several times, “Rebellion.”
Ray did not expect that the remnants of the guild members were still together and did not disband as well as Redwest and Blueeast.
“I knew they would do something to beat Arthur, but this was already too much,” muttered Ray slightly clicking his tongue.
Once again Virgo messes up the little plans Ray has. Ray initially only wanted to enter the big stage at the last moment, but if this happened he had to intervene faster.
Ray looked the other way, a place he had asked someone to wait for him without anyone knowing. Ray walked towards her a little and conveyed;
“Prepare, Erina. We will start our hero plan sooner.”
