Arthur's Purpose

Indri is well aware if the fight with Arthur broke out here then they will soon be caught. Amidst the assembled soldiers, making a commotion was just like a grasshopper messing around in a beehive.

“Truely too, it might be a good idea,” Arthur approached casually and smiled faintly. “Please take revenge for the deaths of those I entrusted to you.”

Indri is unable to say anything, the reason the relationship is so bad now is because of that.

He used to work with Arthur to house the wounded, but it was unexpected that someone managed to kill Rani and Rina. Of course, its members also die because they are late to get a new group.

Indri had an indirect meeting with Arthur to discuss it, but the reason was not accepted.

“Do not think only you get a loss from it,” said Indri with a little annoyed when he remembered it again. “My side is also having hassles because of this.”

“Freely explain it, he won't listen!” ben yelled as he pulled the knife.

Hoping that the battle would break out, Arthur was unexpectedly quite silent and unresponsive. Indri does not feel Arthur will start a fight, but he must continue to be vigilant.

‘I'm pretty sure that Arthur is as dangerous as Ray. Don't let me take the wrong action,’ thought Indri.

Indri and Ben are both surprised by Arthur's statement.

“The current situation is becoming clearer. There's another motherfucker who just showed his fangs and made a tantrum. I'm sure, at least we have the same enemy now.”

It can be concluded that Arthur was also troubled by the same person who killed Guren.

Indri certainly will not forgive the man who killed three colleagues, even now maybe Hiromi and Hiroshi are not safe life.

“From those words it seems that you have a separate affair with this bastard, huh?” ben said, intending to attack but Indri stopped him.

“Now is not the time to be hostile to each other,” Indri said, making Ben stop and look at him.

“What do you want to do?” whispered Ben.

Indri just looked at Arthur with his own conviction. Of course there are doubts, but there is no other viable option.

“Tell me what you want, Retsuji Arthur.”

‘We have the same enemy’ said, there is only one conclusion that can be reached through the sentence.

Indri feels bad because it looks like he dumped Ray, but for now he can not be picky.

“Our needs are different, but the purpose to destroy this person remains in line. Give me your contribution to stop this, instead I will give you the Information that has been collected.”

It was a little disturbing, Indri knew if Arthur had someone who was good at analyzing data, but it shouldn't make him so confident like this.

“If talking about other needs of course it will be different. I don't know what you want to get from destroying this bastard. However, I will come if it destroys him.”

“Of course, the conditions you offer are still far from enough,” said Indri.

“Information is useful, but it could be something that does not surprise us,” Ben added.

It could be that Arthur only has information that Indri and Ben already know. If so then there is no point in this cooperation.

“Take it easy. I'm sure you guys don't know this information at all. About why the army is only besieging this place, why is there no meaningful movement. And, why things are getting more complicated.”

Why are the soldiers just waiting? They did not make any movement like trying to infiltrate or whatever.

There were many elite soldiers coming from this country, they were a group of people who were already trained for various situations. It would be impossible if they could not handle this situation.

“You said as if you knew it, yes,” Ben said. “Even if you know it, as long as the source is unclear then the validation of the information is questionable.”

Lies are easy to make and say, spoken words cannot be trusted without a guarantee.

They need to know Arthur's current position and what makes him confident to share his information.

“You could say my position is the best place to get the information you need. Besides—” Arthur flicked his finger casually, “—you have no option to refuse.”

Eight well-armed soldiers immediately besieged Indri and Ben in a short period of time.

“Since when?!” jerit Indri was surprised.

Both were unable to act further because their positions were clearly cornered. Arthur seems to have found out that they will have a meeting here.

“Do not get me wrong, I will not loose as before,” said Arthur, staring coldly, “Unfortunately we will not establish equal cooperation. Your current choice is to obey me.”

Indri and Ben could not choose from the beginning because Arthur gave no option but to obey.

Now he began to feel the great difference between the present Arthur and before. He had an aura that seemed to want to swallow everything.

Even so Indri is not at all afraid of the threat of Arthur at this time.

“Fu fu fu, it is true that you are different from before. But that does not mean I will just obey you.”

Indri is still Indri, he will never be daunted even if faced with death. In addition, Indri has doubts that Arthur will act to kill him.

If Arthur had known from the beginning that Indri and Ben had infiltrated, then why did he not immediately do the hunt. Arthur just got out of the way and came to talk.

“You said we can't establish equal cooperation? Fu fu, apes speak very highly but apes are still apes. They won't be exalted even if they're smart.”

“I don't think it's good to provoke him at the moment, Indri,” said Ben with a little worry.

Even so Indri did not seem to care about Ben's warning.

“What are you trying to say?” arthur asked, slightly holding back his emotions.

“Easy. There's something you want to get from me, so you don't kill me.”

Indri has no doubt about the conclusions he has made. There is one thing that is most likely to be the answer, and Indri knows clearly.

“True, if you have to guess .. you want to dig anything about Ray from us, right?” indri said with mock.

He could see that Arthur was slightly wrinkled because Ray's name was mentioned. Indri was then convinced that his guess was not wrong.

“You definitely want to beat Ray here, right?” indri asked, towards the main point why Arthur came to him.

Both Indri and Arthur knew clearly that Ray was not a man who would ignore this situation.
