Worse Than Bad People

No matter how much time had passed but Ray was sure that there had been a lot of time that had passed since the two twin sisters had come to visit him along with his strange request.

During that time Ray did not forget to interrogate the two while doing things that do not need to be explained again.

From a book that Ray read in the past, women often forget their common sense when having sex. Better yet, women's common sense won't be active when they start doing things out of love.

“Many say that. Even Indri and the two boys were the same.” Ben scratched his head that was not itchy and laughed a little, he then realized that Ray intended to eat at the restaurant.

“You seem to be planning to eat. Does it matter if I join?”

The two walked to the restaurant together and sat in the corner of the room. Ray orders steak and pasta because he misses him enough, while Ben orders hamburgers and pizza.

“There is nothing more entertaining than good food,” Ben muttered as he ate his meal harmoniously.

Ray doesn't talk much himself, but he secretly agrees with Ben about it. There was no conversation between the two during their meal.

After eating his food Ray immediately ordered avocado juice while Ben still ate his pizza which had just been half-used.

“It's precious peace.” Ben suddenly spoke and looked around. “This temporary peace and some time we will be able to feel again.”

“Perhaps after all this is over, peace will be restored.” Ray answered without thinking.

“It should be so, but I'm not confident enough with that future.”

Ray was quite impressed with Ben. This man looked like a gentle good person, but he was also the type of person who looked far into the future. The fact that he does not believe in peace in the future makes Ray sure of it.

Ben continued to speak.

“Just imagine, when we Degree owners are released into the world, how much chaos will arise?”

“There will be people like us who are silent and do not abuse power. However, a fool acting crazy would exist. They will abuse and cause our existence to unfold.”

If the existence of humans could use such power and it was known that there were some humans evolved, it was highly unlikely that the countries would be silent.

Suppose this fact is revealed to large countries, then the hunting of humans with a Degree will occur in a massive manner. If that is the case then there is never any calmness in life even if it manages to get out of all these tasks.

“You may have a point about that. It is very difficult to imagine a future where the existence of the Degree is not revealed to the world.” Ray agreed with that assumption. Even at this stage, Ray never imagined peace after coming out.

From the sharp gaze, Ben clearly tried to learn Ray. This guy should know that there's a big plan that Ray wants to do when all this is done. Not to mention, Ray was the only one in this place who knew Secret's main purpose.

“I haven't thought about it to that extent. Secret will probably never let us roam at this stage until the Degree is marketed.”

“That is indeed one reasonable possibility to happen. Closing our existence from the world is one of the best ways to live without hunting.”

The problem is that if it happens it is not impossible that a hierarchical system will emerge and even the existence of the rebels. Virgo is one of the variables that makes it possible to become a rebel leader.

“What do you think, Ben? Is there a way to exit without revealing Degree?” Ray throws his question to Ben.

As if looking forward to it Ben smiled coldly, “There,” said, “If we eliminate the fools and leave those who are reasonable, it is not impossible to bury the existence of the Degree only with us.”

Ray is a little surprised, he already knows that Ben has another face but unexpectedly it will be very dark like this. The bad guys will always find the evil plan.

‘Hm? What does this guy want?’ thought Ray.

“I've killed him.” Ray cut out Ben's words.

The woman he was referring to should be Mein, the most loyal person and was by Erina's side. From the beginning Ray wanted to kill him with the Order to destroy Erina's mental wall and make her a slave who would obey all Ray's words.

Why would he do something that seemed impossible? That's of course because of the degree. Slowly and gradually Ray began to understand the things his Degree could do.

Ray was silent for a long time because there were some things that disturbed him, one of which was Ben's words and the things that were implied from him.

‘I can conclude one thing but there are still variables to note.’

Ray sighed tired from thinking about it at this stage would be useless. He then stared at the old plate and Ben's inexhaustible pizza before furrowing an eyebrow.

Ben left without paying for his food. As the person sitting in the same chair, Ray will be the one to pay for it. Even his actions were more evil than bad people.

Ray only sighed and accepted the unlucky fate caused by his own stupidity. Before coming home Ray ordered some food such as salads and fruits.

He did not immediately return to his room, but went to another place quite far from his place. Ray knocked on it a few times.

“It's me. Open door.”

“... yes.” The voice from behind the door answered him in a doldrums.

Ray finds the appearance of a woman with reddish hair, a pretty face and a model-class body. That was Erina.

“You seem to have been better, the recovery is also fast.”

In no time Ray grabbed Erina by the neck and slammed her into the mattress. Ray then oppresses Erina and makes her unable to move much. The energy she put out was quite strong, but Erina did not look to suffer at all.

“Do not pretend, I know you are aware.” Ray said coldly and strengthened his grip.

Erina did not make a sound even though she was suffering from difficulty in breathing.

“I have no qualms about killing you now, Erina. Better to lose you at this stage than to let you secretly put a gun behind me.”

Losing Erina would be a huge loss that Ray would gain. However it would not be comparable if in the end Erina would become a traitor.

Although her lungs felt like they were burning, even though she was suffering from tightness, Erina's face did not make any changes even though her veins were slowly weakening.

Ray then released his grip which left a hand mark on Erina's neck. The suspicion seems wrong.

“You are still in control. Nice.”

Ray nodded his head and planned to let Erina rest, but for some reason the woman grabbed her hand. I don't know what the meaning of his actions is but Ray vaguely finds sadness in Erina's eyes.

“It seems that your mentality is still shaken due to the death of the Order and Mein.”

That's not a good thing. Ray doesn't really understand how the twins work. There is a need not to make things that can break it.

“You sleep. I'll be right next to you and hold your hand.”

“... yes.”

Erina started to lie down and closed her eyes, Ray held the woman's hand and felt warm. Of course, he did not think of irrational things. Even so, this was the first time Ray had felt the turmoil in his chest.

“What feeling is this?”
