Right now everyone is in a hurry to move bodies, wear equipment to fight and other things.
The news that less than two more hours of the Rebellion would arrive had been widespread. By Erina's orders, the captured intruders will be interrogated and the rest are free to appear as long as their lives disappear.
Surely all the anger of the people will go to the captured intruders.
“These bastards who killed my lover! At least, your death won't be easy!”
“Friends, I swear I will avenge your death many times over!”
“Because of you I lost my friends! I'll finish you off and burn you when there's no place to battered anymore!”
Everyone went berserk and alternately dealt a painful blow. They fervently tortured the intruders until there were some who were crazy because of the pain.
Ray who was already in full gear was only observing him from a distance.
“Anger is terrible for blinding human eyes.” said Ray shaking his head. “Anged heart has no place for love.”
These words he quoted from famous people and now Ray witnessed the truth of the sentence.
All those who have lost friends, lovers and friends are eager to give torment for torture. Starting from breaking every bone to a bastard laughing while skinning one of the intruders.
The scenery is like seeing a picture of hell that is shown in many story books and documentary films.
Ray couldn't stand it anymore, he walked up to him and fired two bullets into the air. Everyone's attention was distracted by him.
Clearly emblazoned on everyone's faces depicted a burning anger. Even though it knew it was Ray who made their face shots not soften.
“What's up, commander? Don't tell me you want us to stop this?!”
“Nona Erina has given permission to do anything as long as they end in death!”
“You may be a higher-up but you have no right to stop us!”
“I can't hold back my anger and hatred! Even if it was you, I would beat up anyone who got in the way of—”
“TIL SO DO IT!”
Ray raised his voice and made a truly angry face. His gaze was enough to silence all the faces and mouths that were delivering protests to him.
The man who had previously said he would beat up anyone who stopped him was now petrified. He mutely spoke a thousand languages and his body trembled slightly when he saw Ray.
Ray sighed deeply, “I'm not trying to stop you guys. In fact this is the right action even though inhumane.”
This kind of torture is terrible, but it is nothing. As far as Ray is concerned, there is one other way known as the saddest way to die.
“I just don't want you guys to be exhausted because of these guys. Besides, would you guys really be satisfied with just them?” Ray looked at all the faces of the people around him. Every face he looked into his eyes looked stunned and choked on his own breath.
Seeing them not answer anything is enough for Ray, “Of course not. They won't make you satisfied at all. In the end you will feel lacking in revenge and start attacking your own comrades. This is a possibility that could happen.”
The situation to avoid was that they disappeared because of their own comrades. If that happens even Ray will be troubled in the future.
“If you want to satisfy your grudges and anger, then vent all in the coming war! Rebellions! They are the cause of all this. If they are not destroyed then it is the same as we insult comrades who have died!”
The words Ray spoke were heard well. It was an amazing sight where thousands of people did not speak in the slightest just to hear one person speak.
His words made them think. Some began to ponder over his words to realize that his anger was not diminishing and was rising. While the rest of them immediately nodded and directed their hatred towards a Rebellion.
Ray deliberately left a pause for her to speak so that the person listening would ponder on her.
Suppose the Order and the others were the ones who would put out the little fire then Ray was the one who would put wood in it.
The human emotion called anger is extraordinary. Sometimes when anger overwhelms a person, they forget their compassion and do not hesitate to oppose or kill their own family. Thought Ray.
In fact Ray did and confirmed with himself the subject of his experiment.
“Torturing and killing these five hundred people would mean nothing. What's lost will never come back, it's true. But at least we can send these people and their comrades to hell so that those who fall can give vengeance up there!”
Regardless of whether or not there was such a place, Ray still used it to reinforce his words.
“Ya!”
“Five hundred people means nothing! The fact that they were abandoned then they were useless! Rebellion has no qualms about losing these guys.”
“Give them a painful death. Instead of beating and exhaustion it is better to torture and witness, and hear their screams!”
“How to?” Someone dared to ask.
“In certain beliefs there is a custom in which cremated corpses to send them back to their creators. We can do it on them because it's the most painful way of dying.”
Of course Ray does not need to explain it in detail because the people there understand it clearly. They started smiling when they understood it.
“Let's do this.”
“Yes. Pile of wood, bring gasoline or kerosene!”
“We will burn these people alive!”
“Break their hands and feet so they can't escape!”
In the blink of an eye the fireplace of stacked wood and flammable items was ready. People also bathed the intruders with gasoline and kerosene.
Ray immediately walked away from the location without looking back when a painful scream came from behind him. A huge fire was formed and people cheered happily, cursing as well upon hearing the cry of those pleading for help.
Ray felt that it was not a sight worth seeing although honestly he was quite interested in seeing it. But it's unfortunate that now there are more important things for him to do.
Taking a small radio out of his pocket and using it in his ear, Ray travels through a dark forest where no one can find his whereabouts.
“This is me.” said Ray. “I've put more coal into the fire. The rest just activates those things. After this all then our deal ends.”
“Understanding. Then let's assume this cooperation never existed when everything was finished. I'm glad we can build a good relationship.”
“Unfortunately I didn't. As much as possible do not bother me again in the future.”
“What if I ignore it?”
“Not a problem because in the end you will regret.”
“Fu fu fu, alright.”
The conversation ended there and Ray intended to run but was stopped by a sharp knife pointed at his neck.
“What does this mean? You tried to kill me?” Ray glanced with the tail of his eyes as he did not understand the actions of the person behind his back who brandished a knife to his neck.
“Entahlah. I doubt you're stupid enough not to understand it.”
