Bella's Script
Devan's explanation

Along the way home, Bella's mind was still attached to the incident she had just passed. The memory of Devan's cohesiveness and crew to trap Jihan makes the girl lose her heart and unable to dwell. From a series of plans that Devan put together with his friends, it turns out only Bella does not know. He just plain came to the event with the assumption only to accompany the Inca.

And Inca, what the girl did was beyond Bella's expectations. Just this time Bella saw the Inca using her power to suppress someone, namely Jihan.

“Gue does not want him to continue to bother you with his scheming. I want him to realize, if he bothers you means he bothers one crew PH, without exception.” Inka's light as Bella asks the Inca's reason for daring to press Jihan through her father.

The beautiful tactics played by Devan and his friends turned out to make Jihan give up. He can no longer refuse Devan's request that Jihan ask Amara to hold a press conference.

“Why baby?” Devan asked, when he realized that Bella was looking at him.

“Someone wants to ask or say?” he added, glancing at Bella from the rearview mirror of the car.

“Why don't you tell me the same story? I guess I'm the only one who doesn't know your plan.” Bella turned her face away from Devan and chose to pay attention to the street in front of her. It's like his brain can't think.

Devan smiled slightly, he rubbed Bella's head fondly. There was a feeling of regret for making Bella feel fooled.

“I'm sorry, I didn't mean to not implicate you in this matter. I'm just trying to keep up with Jihan's strategy and reduce the chances that she'll hug you Bell.” It was Bright Devan who glanced at Bella with guilt.

Devan's only anxiety when dealing with Jihan is the woman's pettiness that will hurt Bella's feelings and mentality.

Bella turned back to her husband and looked at him questioningly making the man turn his head back and rubbed Bella's cheeks.

“Maybe you are not aware of Bell, if Jihan attacked you several times, dear.”

Devan's hanging sentence made Bella stunned.

“Get me?” Bella pointed to herself.

Devan was full of confidence.

“You always focus on what you do. Not thinking badly of others and assuming that whatever they do is their right. It's not wrong, but when it harms you, you have to fight it." Devan's words made Bella's forehead wrinkle.

Is he really that naive? Yes, he admitted that he always focused on what he was doing but about his naivety, he even just heard it.

"Maybe you don't realize that he has attacked you several times. Starting from him forcing your script to be used, determine the player as he wants, force you to practice with Rangga, spread the BTS video syutting us and make netizens bully you, he said, uploading your first photos with Rangga and make you feel guilty for the gossip that is currently spreading.”

“About a glance, it will look natural in a world full of competition. You think that everyone is good. Everyone is like two sides of a currency where there is a good side and there is a bad side. That is their right too. But do not forget there are some people who show the bad side by hurting others and some people again use the good side of others for their personal benefit."

"I don't forbid you to be kind and sincere, but sometimes you also need to be vigilant. Because not everyone cares about your kindness." Devan stared at his wife for a while before then having to step back on the gas pedal to drive forward his car.

Bella was stunned for a while, she teased her fingers while thinking. He agreed with Devan's current speech. A thought that did not even cross his mind. But Devan kind of opened Bella's mind to look at it from another point of view. The point of view of someone who has a fair amount of life experience.

“Did Mas ever think that this is also done Jihan because she is interested in Mas? He likes the same. Aye right?” Bella with the conclusion in her mind, was trying to validate.

“Maybe.” Devan's short voice glanced at Bella.

“Honey, what is his motive, we do not need to understand the truth because we are not police who have the right to blame him or the judge who has the right to justify him. We can't control his mind but we can manage our response to him."

"Either way, I'm not sure he really likes me or just wants to keep his pride in front of his friends.” Cetus Devan suddenly.

Devan still remembers the moment he accidentally heard Jihan chat with his two friends. He could see that Jihan was very unable to accept any bad words that were addressed to her, even if it was from the closest person.

“I feel that I am only one part of his efforts to strengthen his power in front of others. Like when he showed his attempt to make the crew weak under his pressure. She never really liked anyone else, she just liked her ego.” Terang Devan's. He turned back to his wife who was thinking hard.

“She just used us as her runway to fly Bell high. And I, I wouldn't let him land perfectly on top of our efforts just to fulfill his ego. Especially by hurting you again.”

He grabbed Bella's hand and held it tightly.

“As much as he would do any effort behind my back, but not to hurt my woman. That's why I didn't bring you in, baby. I'm afraid that my efforts to suppress Jihan will make you feel uncomfortable and sad. Her ego, just enough dealing with me can no longer hurt you.” Devan asserted while kissing Bella's hand seriously.

Bella looked at her husband with some kind of feeling. He is still not out of thought, how he is not aware with all the efforts of Jihan to bring him down.

He admitted, some of Devan's words were true. If he knew that Devan was going to meet Jihan and force her to come along, he might destroy all of Devan's efforts. Seeing Devan talking to Jihan alone made her chest rumble. Bad thoughts about Devan immediately hit his mind.

There is a fear that then makes me think that Devan might as well leave him.

At this point he realizes, Devan is protecting Bella from that feeling. Fear of his previous trauma.

“Thank you Mas, I barely even realized everything.” Tell Bella really.

“Hem, my pleasure, dear.”

“I know you won't realize any of this because you never think badly of anyone else. But, from this problem we must learn, we can never put expectations and trust too high in someone who does not seem to want to hurt you even though. We never really know someone's thoughts and desires. We only need occasionally to be selfish, protect ourselves from unexpected things.”

Bella was just stunned to hear Devan's words just now. Devan is right, it is not wrong if we are selfish on occasion. Because not everything that is in us we can give just like that, especially trust.

Seeing the silent Bella, Devan recalls his conversation with the Inca before their arrival.

"Gue will bring Bella to the show." Said Inka by phone.

"Don't Ka. We agreed that we would never have Bella involved again. I don't want Jihan bullying Bella anymore. I promised everyone that I would solve this problem so that Jihan wouldn't bother us all anymore."

"But Van, Bella also has to wriggle your efforts. Your efforts to make Jihan stay away from you. Don't forget, Bella was once betrayed in her relationship, don't let Bella's trust down because you start to dare to hide something from her. Even if what you hide is your best effort for the relationship between the two of you. I don't want Bella to be disappointed anymore." Firmly Inca at the end of his sentence.

And right now, Devan has to admit that the Inca's efforts were right. He accidentally makes Bella see his attempt to keep Jihan away. Isn't this how Bella's trust in him will stay awake?
