"What's the story behind it?" david asked, driving his car, and glanced at Chloe.
After Chloe contacts him, David not only sends the money to Chloe, David even catches up with Chloe at the leech site.
David also helps Chloe, so as not to be pressured and manipulated by the leeches, while settling all the debts Brad— made of Chloe's former lover, in that place.
"I'm sorry for bothering you, sir," said Chloe, for the umpteenth time. "The story is long."
David smiled broadly, and almost laughed. "Hm ... I'll still listen to it, if you want to tell me."
Chloe, who felt she owed David an explanation, finally wanted to tell him about how, so she could get involved with the lender.
David seemed to listen to Chloe, without interrupting in the slightest, as if he understood what had happened to Chloe.
"That's the story, sir! ... I wouldn't be offended if you wanted to laugh at my stupidity" Chloe said, closing the story of Brad deceiving and exploiting her.
"I won't laugh at you. I just regret the stupidity of your ex-lover, who has been given such trust, but he betrayed you" said David.
"It seems he doesn't know that it's not easy to find someone like you...." David then fell silent, and looked as if there was something he was thinking about.
