The Part 23

"What's that?" ask Matteo.

"Ugh?" Chloe's confused.

"What's your stupidity like? If you want to tell me, then I can compare it," Matteo said.

"Nrt! ... No ... That's too embarrassing" Chloe said, reluctant to tell Brad.

"Shameful, or are you just entertaining me, saying that you've been through something more ridiculous?" matteo asked, sounding in doubt.

"Geez! ... Alright! ... I'll tell you, as long as you promise not to laugh" Chloe said.

"Try it!" Matteo seemed excited to listen to Chloe's story.

Just like when Chloe told David.

Chloe tells the story of how she was fooled by Brad, to the point that she had to pay the debt Brad had made in a leech, for almost two years.

Having been content to take a walk, Chloe and Matteo finally return to Matthew's house.

After Matteo says goodbye to Chloe, then climbs the stairs to her room, Chloe then enters Matthew's room.

Chloe did not want to lie on Matthew's bed, and still chose to rest on the chair, which had been arranged near the window.

But before, Chloe still took the time to check on Matthew, making sure that his boss was well rested.

After being convinced that Matthew was comfortable, Chloe then took a pillow, then used it as an additional backrest, while sitting together in a chair.

It was not too long ago that Chloe slept there, when she heard her name called up several times.

"Chelle! ... Chloe!"

When Chloe opened her eyes, the silhouette of Matthew's body shape, looked like he was sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Sir?" Chloe lowered her legs, which she had just straightened on the chair, which was placed in front of her, then immediately approached Matthew. "What's up, sir?"

"I have to go to the bathroom" replied Matthew.

"Now! ... Let me help you!" chloe said, then immediately helped carry Matthew to the bathroom, and waited for him by standing at the door.

Not too long ago, Matthew called Chloe back from the bathroom. "Lookie! You can come in now!"

While Chloe helped Matthew back to his bed, Matthew then said,

"Why can't you follow my words? I told you to lie on the bed, but you still slept on the chair. Should I force you?"

"I'm sorry, Sir ... I don't want to disturb your rest" Chloe said, as Matthew sat on his bed.

"Then what about me? Wouldn't I be like I was torturing my employees?" matthew said, ketus.

"Don't make me look bad! Just sleep here!" continued Matthew, who seemed to hold on to his stance.

Chloe let out a heavy sigh.

"Good, Sir!" Chloe picked up the pillow that was still on the chair, then placed it on the edge of the bed, on the opposite side to Matthew.

Chloe, lying sideways on Matthew's back, fell asleep immediately, as she was exhausted all day.

Still closing her eyes, Chloe, who was about to gather her consciousness, felt that something was different from where she was leaning.

The pillow he wore felt denser, and as if he was moving up and down regularly.

So is the vibration with rhythmic beats, which can be felt on his arms.

Feeling that something was strange, Chloe then opened her eyes slowly, and found a pair of Matthew eyes looking at her.

Chloe almost jumped out of bed when she realized she was in a position to hug Matthew, who was wrapped in a blanket.

"I'm sorry, sir.." said Chloe, shrewd and full of regret, as it dawned on her that she had moved to the side of the bed, where Matthew lay.

Matthew grunted softly.

"You should wear a blanket" Matthew chirped, leaning against the head of the bed.

"You seem to be cold. But I can't put a blanket on you, even if I want to ... Looky!" matthew said, making Chloe pay attention to the blanket that he overcame.

Chloe rushed down from the bed, and while standing near Matthew, Chloe said,

"I'm definitely just making you uncomfortable. Why don't you just wake me up?"

"That's it...! No need to think about...!" matthew, lowering his two feet out at the side of the bed. "I have to go to the bathroom."

"Ugh? ... Okay!" Chloe immediately helps Matthew, so he can go to the bathroom.

"Maybe I'll be a long time. You can go back to the pavilion first" Matthew said, as Chloe helped him, sitting on the edge of the bathtub.

"Good, Sir!" chloe said, then turned around to get out of the bathroom.

Chloe remembered something, until she then held back her steps, and turned back to look at Matthew.

"The sir! ... I'll wash my clothes. So, I'll probably take a little longer, before I can get back here" Chloe said.

Matthew, who was opening his shirt, then stopped moving. "You can just ask the housekeeper, who did it for you."

"Ugh?" Chloe's confused.

Matthew snorted violently. "Do I have to wait until it's dry here?"

"Oh! ... Alright, Sir! ... I'm just gonna clean myself up, and get back here." Chloe then rushes off, so as not to upset Matthew.

In accordance with Matthew's instructions, Chloe asked for help from Matthew's housekeeper, to wash and tidy all her dirty clothes.

Chloe just needs to shower and wear comfortable clothes, to take care of all Matthew needs today.

Fortunately, today is the first day of the weekend break, so Chloe will likely not be as tired as yesterday.

Because thus, Chloe is enough to take care of Matthew alone, without the need to be busy with office work.

As Chloe walked out of the pavilion, Matteo appeared to be exercising in the front garden of the house.

Apparently, Matteo had long enough to move the muscles in his body, until the shirt he wore seemed wet with sweat.

"Good morning, sir!" greet Chloe, when she looks at Matteo.

"Morning!" Matteo approached immediately, blocking Chloe's steps. "Can you sleep well?"

Because Matteo brought it up, Chloe felt very embarrassed, remembering how she fell asleep while hugging Matthew.

"Hm ... Is there a problem?" matteo asked, looking to furrow his brows.

"Ti—it's nothing.." Chloe stammered.

"Really? ... Are you sick? Your face is red." While putting on an anxious look, Matteo looks like he wants to stick the back of his hand on Chloe's forehead.

However, Chloe immediately dodged by moving to the side, until Matteo did not have time to touch her.

"Sorry ... I forgot my hands were sweating. While you seem to have taken a shower," said Matteo, slowly.

"Ugh? ... It's not like that, sir! ... It was just a reflex move," Chloe said hurriedly, to avoid any misunderstandings.

"I'm totally fine. Thank you for worrying about my situation" Chloe continued, smiling.

"Hm ... But, you better tell me, that you're not feeling well. Don't procrastinate until it gets worse! Okay?!" matteo said, then smiled broadly.

Chloe nodded her head. "Yes, Sir!"

"Hm ... Forgive me, Sir ... But I was in a hurry. I don't want to make Mister Matthew wait too long. I left it in the bathroom" Chloe said.

"Now! ... I'll still do a few more rounds." Matteo then continues his sport, while Chloe immediately enters the house, to see Matthew.

Chloe knocked on the bathroom door. "The sir! ... Are you done?"

"Yes." Yeah." After a reply from Matthew, Chloe opened the door, and found Matthew, who seemed to be trying to change the bandage in his hand.

"I can do it for you." Chloe then takes over the process of fitting a new bandage, in Matthew's hands.

"I can't depend on you constantly" said Matthew, who seemed determined to do it himself.

"It's been my responsibility, as long as I'm still working as your personal assistant" Chloe said.

While squatting, Chloe who had finished putting the bandage in Matthew's hand, then continued to change the bandage on Matthew's leg.

"I hope that you will recover soon. So, when I'm not here anymore, you can do everything yourself, as usual....

... Or maybe, you should immediately set up a new personal assistant. So, I won't worry too much about your situation anymore" Chloe continued.
