Part 45's

Before reaching the shopping center, Matthew changes his decision, and instead asks Chloe to find a clothing store that is easy to reach.

"I'll only trouble you if we go to the shopping mall" Matthew said.

So, Chloe then chose a single store lined up in one of the urban areas.

Of the several store buildings that were there, one of the stores that provided clothes and all kinds of supplies for men, became the first place that Matthew and Chloe entered, to choose the goods there.

Matthew seems to be well-memorized by what he needs, so he just has to sit down sweetly, then ask for everything he wants from the store clerk, without having to be busy trying his options.

Therefore, Matthew did not take long to shop for appearance support equipment for him at the store.

Even though Matthew had finished shopping, he did not want to go straight home, and instead took Chloe into the store that provides clothing and additional equipment for women.

"Why are we here, sir?" ask Chloe, confused.

"I won't let you go to dinner with me, and then put on a dress and shoes from David" Matthew said, looking foolish, as he sat on the couch in the shop.

"You don't need—" Chloe didn't have time to finish her sentence, because Matthew interrupted her immediately by saying,

"Chelle! ... Don't argue with me!"

To the waitress who approached her, Matthew mentioned whatever she wanted Chloe to wear.

Starting from the shape of the dress in her shadow, to the color, conveyed by Matthew to the shopkeeper.

Likewise with the shoe model that he thought would be suitable if matched with the dresses of his choice, did not escape the attention of Matthew.

To Chloe's surprise, Matthew seemed to be able to imagine how Chloe looked, while wearing her dress and shoes.

To the extent that, the shopkeeper also seemed amazed, because what was Matthew's choice, it did look good when worn by Chloe.

"Love you're good at picking out dresses and shoes that work for you" chirps one of the store's waiters, who helps provide Mathew's order for Chloe.

Chloe actually wanted to refute the words of the store's waiter, but Chloe paused her intentions. Because, of course, it would be confusing if the waiter knew, that Matthew was Chloe's superior, and not her lover.

While Chloe is not interested in explaining it further, it could be, the shopkeeper will just guess something not-nothing about Chloe.

Thus, Chloe simply smiled and said nothing, to respond to the words from the shopkeeper earlier.

"Good! ... Try another one!" Without needing to stand up, and just sitting on his feet on the sofa, Matthew looked at Chloe who came out of the dressing room, then gave his response.

Several sheets of dresses, several pairs of work suits, as well as several pairs of shoes, tried to wear by Chloe there at the direction of Matthew.

Maybe Matthew was satisfied with what he saw.

So Matthew then asked the waiter to pack all the objects, and immediately gave his banking card, without asking Chloe's approval.

"The sir! ... That's too much" Chloe said, in a hearty voice over discomfort, and hoping that Matthew would cancel his purchase.

"I spend my own money. So it's up to me to spend it for what" Matthew said, flat and stupid.

Upon their return to Matthew's house, Chloe immediately escorted Matthew to his room, before he then went to the pavilion, carrying the groceries Matthew had bought for him earlier.

While they were at the clothing store, Chloe was too busy trying on her clothes and shoes, until it didn't occur to her to check the price tags on those items.

Chloe really did not expect, if in the region actually provide exclusive items at fantastic prices, because he had never visited in those places before.

After she finds out her worth, Chloe feels like she owes Matthew something, so it feels hard enough for Chloe to wear the things Matthew buys.

However, if Chloe did not want to wear it, then it was the same as if she did not appreciate Matthew spending that much money on her.

Overwhelmed with worry, Chloe no longer noticed that she had been in the pavilion for too long, only to get ready to go to dinner at the restaurant with Matthew.

So, when Chloe saw the time marker on her wrist-mounted watch, half-running, Chloe rushed to see Matthew at the main house, while contacting the restaurant to make a reservation.

"Sir?" Chloe was surprised to see Matthew sitting on the edge of the bed, and was wearing his clothes there.

"I'm sorry." said Chloe, observing what she could do to help Matthew.

"It's okay" replied Matthew, buttoning his shirt.

In a hurry, Chloe approached Matthew, and immediately continued to put the buttons on his boss's shirt.

"You look beautiful" said Matthew, raising his head, as if trying to make eye contact with Chloe standing in front of him.

"Thank you" said Chloe, who immediately felt wronged, because she saw the way Matthew looked at her.

In order to ward off the awkwardness from the glare Matthew had shown her, Chloe tried to dodge, by going to the bathroom, and taking the hairdryer there.

"Your hair is still pretty wet" Chloe said, reasoned.

After turning on the hairdryer, Chloe then directed the gust of warm wind that produced the object to Matthew's head, while slightly ruffling his hair so that it could dry faster.

Meanwhile, Matthew looks still staring at Chloe with the same gaze, so Chloe can barely control herself.

"Why do you see me like that?" Finally, Chloe could not help her curiosity anymore.

Apparently, a gust of wind from the hairdryer hit his eyes, so Matthew seemed to narrow slightly, saying, saying,

"Am I forbidden to see you?"

Chloe smiled, turning off the hairdryer, then putting it on the nightstand.

"It's not that I want to ban you, but your gaze just makes me feel really awkward" Chloe said, slowly.

Matthew then held onto both sides of Chloe's waist which was still standing in front of him, then pulled and embraced her, until her head could lean on Chloe's belly, saying, saying,

"Let me lean back for a moment. My head hurts a little. If I lie down, then my clothes will get tangled."

Chloe who did not know what to say, just acted instinctively, rubbing slowly the back of Matthew's head.

According to Chloe, the behavior of Matthew who was leaning while hugging him, seemed as if Matthew was currently feeling exhausted.

And it seems to be true what Chloe was thinking, because Matthew then said,

"I'm actually feeling very tired. But I also don't want to let you down who prepared it, if I cancel dinner plans."

"It doesn't matter if you want to rest at home. I can cancel the reservation" Chloe said, while still gently stroking the back of Matthew's head.

However, Matthew did not respond, and only snorted softly, while continuing to defend his position.

"Do you want me to get something for you?" ask Chloe.

Matthew shook his head. "Just wait a minute...! I'm starting to feel a little better."

Because Matthew changed the position of his head, to the side, so that Chloe stopped touching Matthew's head, and let both hands hang freely on the sides of his body.

But Matthew then held onto Chloe's hand, and placed it on his head, as if he still wanted Chloe to rub it again, saying, saying,

"Don't stop! ... It feels great!"

Chloe smiled widely and almost laughed, because Matthew's attitude that looked like a child who wanted to be pampered, Chloe felt quite funny and laughable.

"We'll be delivered by my personal driver. You just accompany me," said Matthew.

Matthew then tightened his embrace even more, as if he did not want to let Chloe go so easily, that Chloe was completely confused to see him.

"The sir! ... Are you sure you're okay?" chloe asked, wanting to be sure. Because according to him, Matthew's current behavior is very strange.

Thus, Chloe became quite worried about Matthew's condition, just in case the boss was indeed in pain.

It took a while, and Matthew responded to Chloe's question, saying,

"I probably won't be okay."
