Part 43's

Perhaps because the atmosphere in the cinema is too crowded to seem almost jostling, Matthew then seemed to want to undo his intention to go watch with Chloe.

"We go somewhere else!"

Matthew immediately turned around, even though Chloe was not ready with his sudden movements, to the point that the two of them almost fell there.

"Sir!" chloe panicked as she hugged Matthew tightly. "You almost made us both fall."

Nevertheless, Matthew seemed unconcerned, and still tried to step foot, away from the crowd of people waiting for tickets at the cinema counter.

However, from the opposite direction, it turns out there are still many visitors who arrive, and make Chloe and Matthew have to walk on the sidelines of the people who just came.

"We'll go over there first!"

Chloe gave a suggestion, while directing Matthew to walk in one of the directions, after he saw an empty gap near one side of the wall not far from where they were now.

The two of them should be able to stand on the empty sidelines that Chloe saw earlier.

However, just now they managed to avoid other cinema visitors, the empty sidelines also finally seemed to be filled with some people, who seemed to want to do the same as them.

"Tsk!" Matthew was upset about it.

Despite the circumstances, neither Chloe nor Matthew could do anything, other than stand there.

They had to wait until moviegoers were reduced in density, after most of those people entered the room where the movie was shown.

Suddenly, among the people who passed near them, someone stepped on Chloe's foot, so Chloe grimaced in pain. "Auch!"

"Are you okay?" matthew asked, who then shifted right in front of Chloe, until the two of them stood face to face.

"My feet are stepped on. But I'm fine" said Chloe, watching Matthew's movements as if trying to protect him.

"You don't have to protect me. It could be that your leg is injured, it will get worse if it gets hit by those people," said Chloe, worried.

Though he said nothing, Matthew seemed to shift his injured leg, seeking refuge between Chloe's legs.

In addition, Matthew also seems to get closer to Chloe who is leaning on the wall, until her chest is almost stuck in Chloe's face.

The current standing and Matthew who seemed like they were going to hug, only made Chloe feel very awkward, yet she could not comment on anything.

"There are a few films that have premiered" Matthew chirped, then slightly lowered his head. "It's worth it, if these people are willing to jostle."

Chloe who listened to Matthew's words, then raised her head, until she and Matthew so face to face in a very close distance.

For a while, Chloe was completely immersed in her admiration for the beauty of Matthew's eyeballs that complemented her handsome face.

Until suddenly....

"What do you see?"

Chloe felt so embarrassed because she was too long to look at all parts of Matthew's face, that Matthew scolded him like that.

Therefore, Chloe then immediately turned her eyes away, slightly lowering her head, while saying in a whispering voice.

"The color of your eyes...."

"The eye?" Matthew then laughed. "Is it just my eyes that catch your attention?"

Right after Matthew finished talking, all of a sudden, it was as if someone was pushing him, until Matthew completely leaned on Chloe.

"Sorry, Sir!" A voice that seemed to come from a young man, could be heard by Chloe right then and there.

"It's okay!" So was the voice of Matthew who spoke the words of the young man.

So Chloe guessed, that Matthew was accidentally leaned on her, and only because he was pushed by the crowd.

But the problem is, Chloe's face is now completely stuck in Matthew's chest, and almost makes it difficult to breathe.

Inevitably, Chloe immediately pushed Matthew, so that there was a gap for him even if only a little, to draw air into his lungs.

"I'm sorry ... The visitors just got more crowded," said Matthew, holding his body with both hands leaning against the wall.

Chloe did not pay much attention to Matthew's words, and instead focused her attention on Matthew's shirt that looked worn lip dye Chloe.

"The sir! ... Forgive me ... Your clothes got dirty because of the lipstick I was wearing," Chloe said, carefully, as she placed her palm on Matthew's chest.

Matthew then held Chloe's hand with one of his, and held her position until it kept touching her chest, saying, saying,

Chloe then raised her head, looking at Matthew who was smiling widely and seemed to be almost laughing.

Without warning, Matthew moved quickly to kiss Chloe's forehead, and then continued to say,

"Even if anyone sees me kissing you, it won't matter."

In disbelief at what Matthew had just done, Chloe looked at Matthew fixedly.

"What?" matthew asked, raising both eyebrows.

Seeing his seemingly foolish behavior, Matthew seems to be unaware that he almost gave Chloe a heart attack because of his actions.

"What are you doing?" chloe asked, confused.

"I kissed your forehead," replied Matthew, sounding without burden. "Why? ... You want me to do it again?"

"Don't tease me, sir!" chloe shook her head and tried to calm herself.

Matthew then laughed. "You exaggerate so little things. It's only natural that occasionally your makeup hit me. No need to feel guilty."

"The crowds are starting to diminish. Do you still want to watch? Or do we just go home?" continued Matthew.

"It's up to you" said Chloe.

"Hmmm...." Matthew muttered, while slightly moving away from Chloe, and seemed to be looking around her.

"It seems, the counter for the horror film is not much of a visitor" Matthew said. "Do you want to try watching it?"

Chloe nodded in agreement.

Following Matthew's direction, Chloe walked with him, through a crowd that seemed less crowded.

After getting tickets for two people, Chloe still took the time to buy popcorn, and two glasses of soda for herself and Matthew.

As expected, in the screening room there are still many empty seats, because of the lack of interest of visitors to the genre gore film featuring many violent scenes.

As the film unfolds, Matthew doesn't seem to be concentrating on the spectacle, and instead often looks back and forth as if there's something he's looking for.

"Did you like the movie?" chloe asked, in a whispering voice so as not to disturb the other audience.

Matthew did not answer Chloe's question, and simply looked at her as he extended his hand into the bowl of popcorn.

After chewing a few grains of popcorn, Matthew then brought his face closer to Chloe and said,

"I want you to change my work schedule for tomorrow. Set up some free time, so Centra can make a presentation."

"Oh! ... Okay, Sir!" sahut Chloe's.

Chloe finally realizes, if the truth, Matthew does not just want to relax with a walk with Chloe.

Matthew was observing the places he visited, so he considered the proposal submitted by Centra— a group of students majoring in architecture.

So Chloe smiled broadly, shaking her head.

"Why?" ask Matthew.

"It's okay. I just felt like I was wrong to think that you wanted to rest. But in reality you are actually working. And it just seems like it's relaxing."

Chloe's reply, quickly denied by Matthew, said,

"I really want to take a leisurely walk with you. It just so happened that I could think of Centra's proposal, seeing this place."

"You disappointed?" matthew asked, hurry up.

"What can disappoint me?" Chloe asked back.

"Because I'm thinking more about work than our dates" Matthew replied.

Chloe immediately turned her head to the side, and found Matthew smiling widely as if he was mocking her.

"Don't tease me, sir!" Roughly speaking, Chloe fed a little pop of corn to Matthew's mouth.

Matthew finally chuckled, then hurriedly covered his mouth with the back of his hand.

"Don't you feel like we're dating right now?" matthew asked, holding Chloe's hand, and grasping her tightly.
