The Part 36

Matthew did not mention Chloe's plans to resign from her job.

However, the look on Matthew's face since they woke up this morning, revealed as if there was still something that was not pleasing to him.

Until now, when they had breakfast with Matteo.

The displeased expression on Matthew's face was still clearly visible. Where his lips were that manyuned, it was as if it would fall to the floor as he pouted like that.

Matthew also said nothing to respond to Matteo's conversation with Chloe, and was only seen eating his food in a rough style and movement.

Although Chloe notices Matthew's movements, Chloe does not comment on them, and pretends to be unaware of Matthew's bad mood.

"Want to see her with me for a second?" matteo asked Chloe.

On this day, Matteo will move into his own house that is ready to be occupied.

Because the renovation process and all Matteo's belongings have arrived, and have even been finished laid out in his house.

So Matteo wants to invite Chloe to visit his house again, by taking advantage of the time on this day, where Chloe is still on holiday weekend.

Actually, Chloe just wanted to look around inside Matteo's house, because Chloe who felt quite curious, how the music studio owned by Matteo which he said was ready to use.

But....

"Hmmm...." Chloe muttered as she glanced at Matthew sitting beside her. Carefully, Chloe then tried to ask Matthew for permission, saying,

"Can I go visit Mister Matteo's house?"

"For what?" Matthew asked back in a cynical tone of voice, only making Chloe hesitant to agree to Matteo's invitation.

"We won't be long ... What would happen to you if we left you alone?" Matteo seems to want to pressure Matthew into giving his permission to Chloe.

"Take me to the study first...!" matthew said to Chloe, then stared intently at Matteo.

"Good, Sir!" sahut Chloe's.

After finishing their breakfast there, Chloe then took Matthew to the study, adjusting to Matthew's request.

As Matthew seems ready for his job, Chloe wants to make sure there is nothing left for Matthew before Chloe leaves with Matteo.

"Is there anything you want?" ask Chloe.

"Are you looking forward to going with Matteo?" Matthew asked back, giving his sharp gaze to Chloe.

Chloe fell silent, not knowing what to say to respond to Matthew's question.

Just second-guessing, if Matthew still wanted to keep him company in the room, so Chloe then shifted one of the chairs, so that he could sit next to Matthew.

"Aren't you going with Matteo?"

Matthew's question really only makes Chloe confused, because he who can not think anymore, will what Matthew really wants.

While sighing long, and exhaling slowly, Chloe looked at Matthew fixedly.

"I'm sorry, sir," said Chloe, without taking her eyes off Matthew.

"Please don't pull around like a kite, and make me the one who has to second-guess....

... Actually you're letting me go to Mister Matteo's house or not? I'll do what you say" Chloe said.

"What if I forbid you?" matthew asked, seemingly raising both of his eyebrows, and folding his hands in front of his chest.

"In that case, I won't go. I'll accompany you here" Chloe replied, then stood up and turned on Matthew's laptop.

"Did I ask you to turn on my laptop?"

Matthew's question, sounded as if he was trying to provoke a fight with Chloe, until Chloe stopped moving, and stood there.

It was still quite early in the morning, and Chloe had no interest at all in getting into a fight with Matthew.

However, it seems Chloe still wants to grumble, because of Matthew's temperamental attitude.

"For the physical is indeed very similar, but not with his attitude," chirped Chloe in a whispering voice, which he thought would not be heard by Matthew.

"What did you say?" ask Matthew.

Chloe who was just about to sit back in her chair, just shook her head. "There's nothing."

"Although your face is very similar to Mister Matteo's. But Mister Matteo's attitude is very contrary to yours" Chloe said.

Seeing that Matthew was still waiting for further explanation from her, Chloe continued to say,

"Mister Matteo's attitude is sweet and friendly ... Do I still need to explain the difference with your attitude?"

Matthew looks like he'll be angry right then and there.

However, because Chloe was intending to tease Matthew, Chloe just laughed to see him, so Matthew looked confused, while looking at Chloe fixedly.

Using her two index fingers, Chloe then touched the corner of Matthew's lips and slightly pushed it up, to make Matthew look like he was smiling.

Likewise, in the forehead Matthew pressed Chloe with his thumb, until Matthew relaxes the muscle that links his eyebrows.

"This is better!" chloe said, excited. "Don't be so angry...! Later you will become more quickly wrinkled."

With a big smile, Chloe looked at every corner of Matthew's face, as if it was a painting that was the result of his work.

"You're going to make me misunderstand" said Matthew, then turned his face away.

"Ugh?" Chloe doesn't understand.

"You can go with Matteo ... But don't be there too long" said Matthew, who looks focused on looking at the display screen of his laptop.

"Good!" Chloe then stood up from her seat. "I'm leaving first, sir!"

Without taking his eyes off his laptop screen, Matthew nodded in agreement, until Chloe then rushed away from Matthew's study.

As Chloe walked towards the front door, Matteo was seen already there with a big smile, waiting for Chloe's arrival.

"Why is it so long?" matteo asked, looking curious.

"Hm ... Just like always" said Chloe, smiling, and almost laughing.

Matteo, who seemed to understand Chloe's intentions, shook his head, and began to walk with Chloe, leading to his private home.

While walking slowly with Matteo, Chloe thought about what had just happened to Matthew.

According to Chloe, Matthew's often explosive emotions, may be more similar to the attitude of a young child experiencing tantrums.

So that when Chloe faced him with a cold head, and treated him like he was persuading a child, it was able to overcome Matthew's anger.

Chloe smiled to herself, feeling that she might have found Matthew's point of weakness.

Thus, whenever Matthew was angry with him, maybe Chloe would try to do it again, while continuing to pay attention, whether in similar ways as before, it would always work.

"What's wrong?" matteo asked, who probably kept paying attention to Chloe's movements, so he continued,

"What makes you smile like that?"

"Oh! ... There's nothing" said Chloe, with a big smile.

"Today, it seems like a lot you've been thinking about" said Matteo, then opened the door to her house, and let Chloe in.

"Hm ... Actually, I was just thinking about the difference between you and Mister Matthew" Chloe said.

"That would seem difficult" Matteo said, then blocked Chloe's steps, standing in front of her.

"For what?" matteo asked, in a sinister tone of voice, and put a stiff expression on his face. "Don't linger!"

Matteo who suddenly acted as if he was going to scold her, only made Chloe feel confused to see her.

So Chloe just looked at Matteo for a while, before she finally realized, that Matteo is currently imitating Matthew's style.

Chloe laughed out loud.

"If I were like that, would you be able to tell us apart?" matteo asked, smiling widely.

"I think I'm going to have a hard time" Chloe replied, laughing.

Matteo then held onto Chloe's hand, and grasped it tightly, then took Chloe walking with him, saying, saying,

"I will try, so that you can still distinguish between me and Matthew. I don't want you to be wrong to assume that Matthew is me."
