The Part 21

A little reprimand issued by Matteo, did not bear sweet fruit, because Matthew actually looks angry made.

"Are you deliberately seeking sympathy? Flirt to and fro, if you're going to stop working because of me?" matthew asked as he looked at Chloe, then seemed to harden his jaw.

"Did she know you were in close contact with people who didn't like our daddy?" ask Matthew again to Chloe.

Chloe let out a heavy sigh, then looked at Matthew and Matteo alternately.

"Mister David ... You must still remember your family members, who joined us at dinner at the restaurant last night," Chloe told Matteo, who looked at her

"What do you think the relationship between your parents and her looks bad?" chloe continued, who could no longer hold herself back, then looked closely at Matthew.

Still with a flat tone of voice, Chloe who kept staring at Matthew, then continued to say,

Thus, it was Chloe who seemed to have to sleep in Matthew's room to take care of him.

After they finished dinner, and Chloe had escorted Matthew back to his room, Matteo was seen preparing to go upstairs.

Chloe fell silent.

"I need to contact some of my acquaintances now. I'll come back here, if my business is done" Matteo continued, then turned around and climbed the stairs to the top floor.

Chloe immediately went into Matthew's room, then arranged a chair near the window, so that it could be a place of rest that was quite comfortable for him.

"What are you doing?" matthew asks suddenly, and surprises Chloe.

"Ughhh! ... I'll accompany you by sitting here" Chloe replied.

Matthew was silent for a moment.

"You can just lie here—" Matthew patted his bed.

"... as long as you're not noisy" Matthew continued.

Although the bed was large, it even seemed to be able to be worn by three people at once, but it still felt Chloe would not feel comfortable, if she had to sleep next to Matthew.

"Hm ... But, sir.." said Chloe hesitantly.

"I don't want to torture you. If you don't want to rest next to me, then you can just leave me. It's okay" Matthew said.

Chloe let out a long and heavy breath. "Good, Sir! ... I'll sleep there, when I'm sleepy."

Matthew then shifted a few pillows, as if he was preparing a place for Chloe, to rest later.

Chloe then immediately stood up, and turned off the table lamp that was on the side of the bed, which was different from where Matthew was lying.

So did the switch for the lights on the ceiling, which did not escape Chloe's hands, so Matthew's room was now almost pitch black.

Chloe sat back in a chair by the window, which was illuminated from the outside, infiltrating through a slightly open doorway.

Because she was not yet sleepy, Chloe watched the video that appeared on the homepage of her social media account, even without listening to the sound of the video.

After about an hour later, Matthew's breathing, then heard more regular.

Chloe who suddenly felt thirsty, slowly stepped out of Matthew's room.

And coinciding with when Chloe passed through the door of the room, Matteo was seen already on the last rung of the stairs.

"Where are you going?" ask Matteo again.

"I'm going to go get some water" Chloe replied, as she continued to step into the kitchen, followed by Matteo.

While Chloe was fetching drinking water, Matteo was seen removing two pieces of fruit tart from inside the fridge.

"Want to?" ask Matteo.

Chloe nodded. "Yes." Yeah."

"We just eat here" said Matteo, then put two small plates containing pieces of fruit tart, onto the island table in the kitchen.

"Because you brought it up, I remember that you had dinner with David last night" Matteo said.

"Are you dating her?" ask Matteo.

"Hm ... Ja. But not dating like a couple, but dating as friends."

Although Chloe had answered her question, Matteo looked confused when she heard it, so Chloe then continued to say,

"I've known each other with Mister David since I was just about to work at McLean property....

... But, we hardly ever had an intense conversation, because we were busy with our respective jobs....

... That's why, until Mister David wants us to get to know each other better, and make our meeting like we're dating."

"Hm ... Didn't anyone of you think of becoming a lover?" matteo asked, who looked curious.
