Part 72's

Although Matteo whines, Chloe still tries to escape from Matteo's embrace.

"What's wrong with you this time?" chloe asked, with a bad feeling. "Take me off! ... Let me get dressed first!"

It's been quite disturbed Chloe made Matthew, since their return from the office earlier, then now, her twin brother who followed along made Chloe upset.

Matteo then rests his face on one side of Chloe's shoulder. "How can you be this reckless?"

"What are you talking about?" Chloe's confused.

"You allowed Matteo to enter here, even if you only wore a bathrobe? Aren't you worried if he touches you like this?"

Question after question that came out of the man's mouth, immediately resuscitated Chloe, if not Matteo who became his guest.

It would be appropriate if Chloe felt that Matteo's attitude was very strange at this time, because Matteo had never acted coercively like that before, except when Matteo was drunk that night.

"Mister Matthew?!" chloe said in a jerking voice. "You cheated me!"

"I'm just testing you. Whether you will be sweet to Matteo or not ... It's just natural, right? I'm worried about my girlfriend" Matthew said, sounding stupid.

Chloe gave a rude snort to calm herself down, lest she yell at Matthew.

"Take me off, sir...! I have to get dressed." said Chloe, slowly and flatly.

"Wait a minute! ... You are very fragrant." Matthew just tightened his embrace on Chloe. "What toiletries are you wearing?"

Matthew's silly-sounding and ostensibly reasoned question, only made Chloe feel resentful about it.

"Market products cost 1 dollar!" chloe sahut, ketus and perfunctory. "You can buy it yourself at the minimarket, if you like it so much!"

"Pffit...!" As if he did not care, even though Chloe was already quite upset by him, Matthew just laughed, then kissed Chloe's cheek.

"Quick dressing! ... I will wait for you outside" Matthew said, in a whispering voice. "Wear casual clothes! I want to take you for a walk with me."

"Aren't you bored with me most of the time?" chloe asked, walking away from Matthew who had let go.

"Chelle! ... I'll be waiting for you outside!" matthew said, firmly.

Matthew, who seemed unwilling to listen to Chloe's chatter, remained adamant about his wishes, then turned around and closed Chloe's bedroom door.

Can Chloe argue with Matthew?

Of course not.

Because it would be a waste of Chloe's energy.

Looking almost the same as Matthew, Chloe wears a rather loose t-shirt and long jeans she blends with sneakers, as she exits the room and meets Matthew waiting for her.

Matthew looks smiling himself, looking at Chloe, until Chloe feels uncomfortable because of it.

"Is something wrong, sir?" ask Chloe.

"Your hair ... I've never seen you curl your hair like that" Matthew replied, drawing his face closer, then peeking at Chloe's cheek. "You look beautiful."

Matthew clasped Chloe by the hand, then took Chloe walking with him, and appeared to lead to his private car.

"You're going to drive yourself?" chloe asked, looking back and forth, and not finding Matthew's personal driver.

"Of course!" matthew answered, sounding confident, while opening the car door for Chloe. "Do you think I can't drive?"

"But, .. Do you know where we're going?" chloe asked, hesitating, sitting in the passenger seat next to the driver.

"This! ... I can wear this!" Matthew sits behind the wheel, then presses the screen of the directional guidance system mounted on the car dashboard, and mentions his destination there.

While driving, Matthew occasionally saw the appearance of his phone, and typed something on the screen of the object, as if there was someone who was texting each other quite intensely with him.

Feeling that Matthew's way of driving was unsafe, Chloe rebuked him by saying,

"Isn't it dangerous if you don't concentrate while driving?! If there's something important, it's probably best if you pull the car over first."

Matthew then put his phone away, between his seat and Chloe's.

Accidentally, Chloe notices that a new message is coming in on Matthew's phone screen.

A short message from the WhatsApp application containing an apology, because he was still at the shooting location and could not meet Matthew, displaying a profile photo and Judy's name there.

Then, it means Judy was the one who messaged with Matthew earlier.

If Judy is not busy, then maybe not Chloe who will be invited by Matthew to take a walk with her.

Though it sucks for Chloe, Chloe says nothing, and pretends she doesn't see Judy's message.

Matthew parked his car in a cafe in the center of the city, saying,

"This isn't my main goal to take you ... But there is still a little time left. So, we'll just wait here first!"

Without commenting, Chloe followed in Matthew's footsteps, taking him to a cafe chair.

Chloe was even reluctant to make the order, until Matthew ordered tea and snacks, for the two of them.

"Are you that tired?" matthew asks suddenly, and resuscitates Chloe from her empty-minded daydream.

"You don't look very excited at all" Matthew continued, putting on a disappointed look. "It was only today that I was able to move freely, and take a walk with you. But it looks like you don't like it."

Fortunately, before Chloe needed to explain her reluctance to Matthew, Matthew's phone suddenly rang.

So, Matthew's attention then focused on that thing.

"Hello, Mom!" Matthew is heard greeting someone who contacted his cell phone, who appears to be Maddison.

"..."

"No. I'm just walking around with Chloe."

"..."

"Why all of a sudden?" Matthew, speaking on his phone, looked at Chloe, as if Maddison was saying something to her that had something to do with Chloe.

"..."

"I already know, Mommy doesn't have to worry about it."

"..."

"Of course everyone knows him. He's a celebrity who also starred in commercials for the company."

Hearing the words from Matthew, Chloe guessed, that this time Matthew and Maddison were talking about Judy.

"I'm not stupid. There's no way I'm wasting a chance. L loved her. "

I don't know who Matthew meant. But that's what Matthew told Maddison next, which Chloe could hear.

As if to hide something, Matthew then immediately stood up, and walked away from Chloe, continuing the conversation on his phone, without being able to be heard by Chloe again.

Chloe left alone on her desk, so wondered, because of what she had heard earlier.

Thus, although out of nowhere Jordan can get information about Matthew, but Jordan's words to David that night, indeed proved the truth.

Then, if Chloe follows the sequence of Matthew's conversation on the phone, then most likely the person loved by Matthew is Judy.

And Chloe's conjecture was reinforced again, taking into account Jordan's words, that Matthew had fallen in love with someone who had approached him recently.

Okay!

Chloe can't expect Matthew's love.

But that doesn't mean Chloe can't play Matthew, does it?

As long as Chloe doesn't give up everything for Matthew, Chloe will enjoy Matthew's love show, until Chloe gets bored or until the time is up.

Suddenly, Chloe's phone rang, surprising her who was deep in thought.

"Hello, Sir!" hello Chloe, say hello to David across the phone.

"Hello, Chloe!" David said hello. "Where are you now?"

"I accompanied Mister Matthew who wanted to go for a walk" Chloe replied, honestly. "What's up, sir?"

"Hm ... I want to ask you. Can you go on vacation with me tomorrow?" david, from across the phone.

"Hmmm...." Chloe muttered hesitantly.

"Tomorrow there'll be a party at Matthew's parents' house, but I won't attend it. Matthew must be there, and he can walk on his own, right?

... He shouldn't need you much anymore. So, I was hoping that you'd just take a vacation with me" David said, sounding out to persuade and convince Chloe.

"Hm ... I will consider it first. Because I still have to get permission from Mister Matthew," Chloe replied, soberly.

Meanwhile, Chloe sees that Matthew has walked back to the table where Chloe is sitting.

"I'll tell you later. But now I have to go ... Bye, Sir!" said Chloe, who hurriedly wanted to disconnect the phone from David.

"Now! ... I'm waiting for certainty from you. Bye, Chloe!" david said, then the phone connection was then cut off.

Chloe then immediately put the phone back in the small bag she was carrying, before Matthew arrived nearby.

"I'm sorry...." Matthew is seen sitting back in his chair. "Mommy wants to throw a party, because there's a Grandpa here."

"Oh! ... When will the party be held?" ask Chloe who pretends not to know, then sip a little tea.

"Tomorrow," replied Matthew, then took a sip of his tea, and then continued, saying,

"Barbeque for the family at noon tomorrow. Then the night was held a dance party, which would invite all the important people associated with McLean group."

Chloe mustache understands. "Then I don't have to come with you tomorrow, do I?"

"You don't want to come with me? Why?" matthew asked, putting on a face that clearly showed his dislike.

Without any hesitation, Chloe spoke what was in her mind to Matthew, saying,

"The party has nothing to do with me ... I am not a member of the family. Nor were they important to McLean's group....

... You can also walk on your own, and no longer need my help. Then why should I come with you?"

"Cloe!" matthew said, and it looked as if he still wanted to say something.

However, before Matthew could continue his words, Chloe had already said,

"I just want to enjoy the weekend. Maybe, I'll go meet an old friend."

"I don't want you to go anywhere!" matthew was firm, then seemed to flinch, and hurriedly continued his words by asking. "Who called you?"

"What is my personal business, you should know about it?" ask Chloe, cynical.

"The sir! ... You know if I'm lying or not, right? Please look and listen carefully to what I am going to say....

... Whoever and whatever I was talking about had nothing to do with work" Chloe continued, in a flat tone of voice.

This time, Chloe's words seem to be quite influential, so Matthew does not continue his debate with Chloe, and instead seems to try to persuade Chloe.

"I just want you to be with me." said Matthew, putting on a face like a sad person. "It would be more fun if you were with me...."

"Hmmm...." Chloe muttered while thinking. "Good, Sir ... I'll accompany you tomorrow. But for the day after tomorrow, let me get some time off."

Chloe's offer seemed unsatisfactory to Matthew, so the man asked.

"Where are you actually going? ... Why are you looking for an opportunity not to be with me?"

"Do you prefer it if you go to your parents' house by yourself? I can make the most of my 2 days off, without you," Chloe said, defiantly.

Matthew who had a ferocious face, suddenly the look of his face changed drastically, to look resigned.

And until a while later, Matthew also did not say anything to comment on Chloe's words.

"Don't make me feel guilty...! You don't actually need me, if you just want someone to accompany you," Chloe said, shaking her head.

"I'm not going anywhere. I will only be in the pavilion. You can still call me anytime, if you need anything."

Chloe's next words, can make Matthew smile again, even though it looks as if only forced.

Matthew then looked at the watch on his wrist, then said,

"It's nearing its time! ... Let's get out of here!"

Matthew takes Chloe to the dock, where a small boat is moored there, and is usually used for sightseeing down the river.

Chloe already knew about the tourist spot, but she had never tried it before. Because, tickets for ships that are usually boarded by 8 to 10 people, are quite expensive.

As if Matthew already knew which ship he was going to board, while holding Chloe's hand, Matthew then invited Chloe to board.

then, someone who appeared to be the captain of the ship, then greeted Matthew, and confirmed the booking made by Matthew.

"You rented this one ship?" chloe asked, confused.

"Yes ... I don't want to jostle with anyone else" Matthew replied, then leaned his head toward Chloe. "You definitely don't want to be a spectacle either, when we make out, right?!"

Before Chloe responded to her words, Matthew had already grabbed onto Chloe's waist, and seemed to enjoy the ride on the boat that had sailed slowly, then continued to say,

"Someone told me about this place ... Hopefully, this will be as satisfying as he said."

Somebody?

Chloe could have guessed that the person Matthew meant was Judy.

Had Judy not been busy with her job, Chloe would probably just be the guard on that ship. Or maybe, if Chloe will instead be left at the dock.
