The Part 33

Matthew did not immediately react after hearing Chloe's words, and instead just looked at Chloe, as if Matthew was waiting for Chloe to explain further to him.

However, Chloe also felt hesitant and embarrassed, if she had to explain the story behind her that was the reason for her, to keep in touch with David.

Moreover, if Chloe remembered Matthew's disdainful attitude, then most likely, Matthew would only laugh at his stupidity, if Matthew were to find out what happened to Chloe.

"Here! ... Sit here!" matthew said, patting the sofa. "Your legs will cramp if you stand in those shoes for too long!"

Although reluctant, Chloe complies with Matthew's invitation, and takes a seat on one of the empty sofa sections.

"Close to here! ... I'm not gonna bite you!" matthew said, directing Chloe to sit next to him.

After Chloe shifted, sitting nearby, Matthew then said,

"What's the reason? You should tell me. I'll judge whether your reasoning is reasonable, or just your wits."

However, because Chloe still locked her mouth tightly, until Matthew finally said again,

"What makes you hesitate to say it?"

"I don't want you to laugh at me" Chloe replied.

Matthew gave a rude snort, then shook his head, while looking at Chloe.

"You're not afraid if I'm being tough and rude. Even with great courage, to dare to challenge me....

 ... But you're hesitant, just worried that I might laugh at you? You are more than the others." Matthew then chuckled, then continued to say,

"Tell me! As long as you're still working with me, then you owe me an explanation. And I'll wait, until you talk."

After a long sigh, Chloe finally told how initially, until she could agree and even promise, to date David.

While Chloe was speaking, Matthew did not interrupt a single bit from Chloe's words.

Seeing Matthew, who seemed to just listen carefully without showing any reaction, Chloe felt confident enough to explain in more detail.

Chloe even tells Matthew that her problems with her ex-boyfriend are also the cause, to make Chloe accept an offer from Nathan, to become Matthew's personal assistant.

After Chloe finished speaking, and was only silent for a while, Matthew then said,

"Nobody can laugh about your story. But the difficulties you get because of your ex-boyfriend, can actually prove, that you can misjudge someone."

With a slight bow, Matthew picked up the ointment for the wound that was inside the medicine box, which was still lying on the floor. 

Matthew then took Chloe's hand that was injured due to her rude attitude earlier this afternoon, and applied a small amount of medicine over the chipped blisters on Chloe's wrist.

And in the meantime, though she's confused to see Matthew seeming to want to take care of her, Chloe just goes silent and lets Matthew do what he wants in Chloe's hands.

Chloe only slightly grimaced in pain, as the medicinal ointment applied by Matthew about the part of her skin that was peeled off was quite wide. 

However, Matthew then seemed to rush out a slow blow to Chloe's wound, as if to reduce the pain caused by the medicinal ointment, on Chloe's wrist.

"What a person actually thinks or intends, it is not that easy to know, if not proven first....

... But it still feels reasonable, if we give a little assessment and assume, by looking at the behavior directly."

The opinion said by Matthew sounded like he was connecting his words earlier, which had paused long enough.

"If from the beginning you tell me, then not necessarily I will scold you. Especially to guess, if you might give 'something' to David....

... I will certainly consider it first. Whether your story is believable or not. In fact, it's possible, if I'm actually moved to help cover your debt at the loan shark."

Matthew then put the medicinal ointment back into its original place, after he finished treating the wound on Chloe's hand.

"Based on your story, it looks like David really likes you. Did he ask you to be his girlfriend?" said Matthew, who sounded suddenly deviated from the initial discussion.

"Mister David was always just kidding. So, I never took all of her words seriously" Chloe said, noting the wound on her hand.

"Then, do you like it?" ask Matthew. 

Chloe fell silent.

"You like it." Matthew made his own opinion.

"I like it. But I can't be sure yet, whether I really like him to want to be his girlfriend or not" said Chloe.

"I'm tired and I'm getting sleepy. You must be just as tired."

Chloe, who understood what Matthew was saying, immediately stood up from her seat, and got ready to help Matthew walk into her room.

However, Matthew did not immediately move from the sofa, and instead looked at Chloe from the tip of her hair to the tip of her foot, then looked back into Chloe's eyes, and her gaze stopped there.

"Is something wrong?" chloe asked, spontaneously.

"Are you sure we can both get to my room without falling?" Matthew asked back.

"Ugh?" Chloe was confused for a while, then she remembered her shoes, and was in a hurry to remove the object from her feet.

However, while Chloe leaned over to open her shoes, Matthew then said,

"You should change your clothes first! ... Because as I said earlier, your current appearance is like trying to seduce me."

Chloe stopped moving, looking at Matthew fixedly. While Matthew seemed to shake his head, Chloe gave him a sharp look.

"I know that you may not be aware. The dress you wear, makes you look beautiful and too attention-grabbing. You even bowed in front of me casually....

...Don't you know that it's dangerous? Especially if you accompany me in my room. Do not forget! I'm not just your boss. I am also a man....

... Except, you did want me to not be able to control myself to dirty-mindedness, and end up 'touching' you, '" Matthew continued, explaining.

Hearing the words of Matthew, Chloe who had been still bending over, then immediately stood up straight, even pulling up the chest of the dress she was wearing.

Matthew who saw it just laughed, then said,

"Why can you be that stupid? You'll just be a prey that's easy to catch."

"So, you're gonna wait here?" chloe asked, hurriedly switching the conversation. "I'll probably be a long time. Because I'll change clothes while I shower."

Matthew was silent for a moment. "Can you get Matteo? Because I also have to go to the bathroom."

Chloe was just about to respond to Matthew's words, but Matthew had already hurriedly said, saying,

"You'll take me to my room. Because I probably won't be able to 'hold it' any longer."

Chloe, who had already taken off her shoes, then immediately approached Matthew and helped him stand up and walk out of the study.

When they had just entered Matthew's room, and were walking towards the bathroom, Matthew said, saying,

"So, you know what I mean about not being able to 'hold it', just now?" 

"You want to pee" said Chloe, spontaneously.

"Tsk tsk! ... Is that as stupid as your mind? You're wrong big time. I mean, I can't stand to see you teasing, anymore" Matthew said, clucking.

Chloe was wide-eyed, and just reflexively slapped Matthew's chest. "The sir! ... Don't try to think dirty!"

However, Matthew is not angry even though Chloe hits him.

Matthew laughed out loud, then with his voice that sounded contrived like he was seducing Chloe, Matthew then said, with a voice that sounded contemptuous,

"Are you not interested in me? Am I less handsome?" 

Chloe chuckled. "You must be kidding. No one will be as interested in a hot-tempered Boss as you."

"Hm ... Well then, you consider me handsome" said Matthew, who sounded joking with Chloe.

"Geez! ... You are too confident. I never said you were handsome" said Chloe, shaking her head.

"Mister David is still much more handsome" Chloe continued in a whispering voice, helping Matthew sit on the edge of the bathtub.

"What did you say?" matthew asked, raising his eyes, looking at Chloe.

"There's nothing" said Chloe, then get ready to leave the bathroom. "I'm out now, sir!"

"Don't go too far! ... I won't be long" said Matthew, then stood closer to the toilet.

"Good, Sir!" chloe said, then closed the bathroom door.
