The Part 69

Because of Matthew's sudden and jerking direction, Chloe didn't have time to think about anything else, and could only immediately stand up from her seat, saying,

"Good, Sir! ... I'm sorry."

"B*jerk!" said David snapped at Matthew, then stood with Chloe. "It's no surprise that Chloe won't work for you."

"Chelle! ... Let's get out of here!" take David in while holding Chloe's hand, and appear to want to take Chloe out of Matthew's house.

"But, sir.." said Chloe who was hesitating, and at the same time, Matthew also said, saying,

"Lookie! Do you not know yourself? You've already received payment, and then you'll just leave your job without finishing it?"

"I'll compensate for your loss. Just tell me how many!" david, it looks like he won't lose.

"Well?! ... Is that how you treat your employees who don't work?" matthew said, in a mocking voice.

"Please, Sir!" chloe said, trying to mediate the debate between Matthew and David so as not to continue.

Chloe looked at David, then slowly, Chloe then said,

"Please don't exaggerate this...! I'll do my job...."

Chloe rushes to the kitchen to meet with Matthew's housekeeper, while David also appears to be following her there.

"Oh, gosh! ... I hate him!" said David who looked furious, while walking with Chloe.

"No problem, Sir ... You don't have to think about it. Not forever will I be a subordinate of Mister Matthew" Chloe said, telling the truth.

Matthew tells Chloe his love, but the man makes out with the other woman in front of Chloe.

Of course, it is natural, if Chloe considers that Matthew really only wants to play games with her.

Matthew seems to only need Chloe for a while, until the man can build trust in others.

Thus, the more likely it is for Chloe to accept a job offer from JT Corp, and move to the new city.

After giving her instructions to Matthew's housekeeper to serve dinner, Chloe then immediately returned to see Matthew, while still being followed by David.

"Evening is ready, sir!" chloe said to Matthew.

Matthew still had a displeased look on his face at Chloe and David, but he smiled broadly, inviting Judy to dinner with him.

"Aren't you guys having dinner with us? I don't think Matthew would mind" said Judy, who sounded familiar with Matthew, who could speak like that.

"I'm sorry, Miss Parker ... You can have dinner alone with Mister Matthew" said Chloe, then thought to say, "I'm going to the pavilion, and have dinner with Mister David there."

Although she said nothing, and did not even turn her head towards Chloe, Chloe saw that Matthew seemed to harden his jaw.

But Chloe didn't care even if Matthew was upset, as long as Matthew didn't get the harsh words out of his mouth.

Seeing that Matthew had walked into the dining room with Judy without saying anything else, Chloe said to David.

"I don't have anything delicious to entertain you...."

"As long as you don't ask me to come home soon, I don't mind a bowl of instant noodles" David said, then took Chloe by the hand, and walked together towards the pavilion.

David who was watching every corner of the inside of the pavilion, then chapped, blathering,

"This place is so narrow!"

"Hm ... You are wrong! ... This place is very spacious, when compared to the studio apartment that used to be my residence" said Chloe, while completing food reservations via her mobile phone.

Chloe opened the fridge door and saw what was still inside.

"I only have canned beer and soda!" chloe said, shy. "Do you want to?"

"I want a beer." replied David, sitting in a chair.

Chloe picked up two cans of beer, placed them on the table, and sat down in the chair facing David.

"Judy.." chirped David, unscrewing the beer can, and then looked at Chloe. "It turns out Judy, the woman who was close to Matthew."

After David said that, Chloe then remembered that no one should know, who was close to Matthew.

However, considering that Matthew himself allowed David to come, while Judy was dating him, Matthew might have convinced Judy.

Matthew may have talked about it with Judy, so that the woman was not affected, if there was anyone who tried to interfere with their relationship.

It gets even more upsetting, as Chloe imagines, how Matthew might laugh at Chloe's stupidity, who again falls in love with the wrong person.

It's not too embarrassing, because Chloe didn't get to show that she was so happy, when Matthew pretended to be in love with her.

Chloe also remained ordinary in front of Matthew, and did not appear as if she wished so much that she could become Matthew's lover.

"How long has it been?" david asked, awakening Chloe who was deep in her own thoughts. "How long has Matthew been close to Judy?"

"Hm ... Less than a week later," Chloe replied, thinking.

David who had just sipped a little of his beer, looked mangosteen as if he understood, then looked like a jerk. "Tomorrow the day after tomorrow, do you want to spend the weekend with me?"

"Hmmm...." Chloe muttered hesitantly.

"I've prepared it" said David, as if to convince Chloe to go with him, and continued,

"I almost forgot to tell you, because my mind was distracted by your plans to move to another city."

"I can't promise anything ... You saw for yourself how things were. I intend to finish the rest of my work well" said Chloe, as it were.

"Then how can I make you change your mind? If I don't have much of a chance to convince you" David said, looking disappointed.

Chloe grunted rudely. "Please, Sir! ... You don't have to think about it. I'll consider it myself."

Not long after, Chloe's order has arrived and David receives it at the front gate, while Chloe waits for her by preparing a table for them to eat.

When David returned to the pavilion, he was no longer alone, but Matteo was seen coming with him.

"Hi, Chloe!" greet Matteo, with a big smile. "Is my arrival just disturbing?"

"Ugh? ... Oh! ... No, Sir!" sahut Chloe, who was astonished because of the existence of Matteo there suddenly. "Please sit down, sir!"

David arranged the food he took out of the package, saying,

"Have you had dinner? ... Looks like this order is only enough for 2 people."

"I've eaten" Matteo replied, staring at the beer can still on the table. "Is there any more for me?"

Chloe who understood the meaning of Matteo's question, then picked up a can of beer, said, saying,

"But I only have this!"

"It doesn't matter, it's more than enough ... As long as you don't kick me out of here" Matteo said, then open the lid of the beer can and take a sip.

"Oh, geez!" Chloe just remembered Matteo's request. "I'm sorry ... All day long my work was very busy. I forgot to tell Mister David."

"It's okay ... I know that you must have accidentally forgotten it," said Matteo, sounding carefree.

Matteo then prepares his phone, while David mentions his personal contact number.

"What did Matthew do?" matteo asked, keeping his phone back in his pants pocket.

"Matthew is dating." David answered Matteo's question.

"Is she still dating...." Matteo seemed to be thinking of something. "What's her name? I forgot!"

"Miss Judy Parker" replied Chloe, and ate a little of her food.

Matteo nodded his head. "His relationship is quite serious with Judy."

"So you already know?" ask David to Matteo.

"Yes ... I was even introduced by Matthew to the woman," replied Matteo, looking like a confused person.

"Women like Judy I think are market women. Matthew is a difficult person to approach....

... But if Judy manages to get close to him, then there must be an advantage that catches Matthew's attention" Matteo continued, then took a sip of his beer.

"What is your taste for women, the same as Matthew?" david asked, as if to dig up information from Matteo.

"Hm ... For as long as I know, Matthew only once dated someone. And back then, the woman Matthew liked, I liked her too," Matteo replied, seemingly speaking while thinking.

"But, it's possible that his taste changed, because he didn't want me to take his lover," Matteo continued with a smile, as if he was mocking Matthew, even though Matthew wasn't there.

"You snatched his lover?" david asked, looking curious.

"Yes ... Not difficult ... Matthew and I are very similar, except for our nature. With my sweeter attitude than her, I can make her lover choose me."

Matteo who seemed to be proud of himself, attracted the attention of Chloe and David, to look at him closely.

"Pffit....!" Matteo then laughed restrainedly, looking at Chloe and David alternately.

"I was just kidding ... It's true that Matthew and I like the same woman. But I didn't do anything to seduce her, when she was Matthew's lover....

... The woman herself who chose to leave Matthew, and asked me to go on a date with him," Matteo said, looking to explain.

"Just teach!" david said, suddenly. "Matthew is the most fuckin'* jerk I've ever met."

"Ugh? ... Is something going on?" Matteo looked curious.

"She's babysitting Chloe." David replied, so Chloe denied it, saying,

"Please, Sir...!"

"You don't have to worry! Matteo would definitely not defend her," said David, who looked confident to Chloe, then turned to look at Matteo, and continued to say,

"Mouth Matthew feels like he needs to be taught a lesson. She's humbling Chloe, even if it's me and Judy there."

"Please, Sir...!" chloe said, to stop David talking about the incident.

As if he didn't care, with Chloe asking him to stop talking, David, who looked furious, said,

"Not just rejecting your offer or mine, Chloe's moving out of town."

"Ughs? Really true?" Matteo looked jolted, with his brows looking to furrow deeply. "Chelle! ... Where are you going?"

Chloe shook her head. "Do we have to talk about it?"

"I told you, it was my decision. And it has nothing to do with anyone else. You both just make my head hurt," continued Chloe, with a bitter feeling.

While both put on disappointed faces, Matteo and David finally just fell silent and looked at Chloe.

"This! ... Taste this a little!" chloe said she tried to divert the conversation, offering her food to Matteo.

Although it seems forced, Matteo wants to eat the food that Chloe feeds into his mouth.

"Do you both like seafood?" chloe asked, still trying to get the two men to talk about something else. "If you want, then Sunday, I'll cook some seafood for you both here,"

Chloe's next words, it seems, managed to provoke a reaction from Matteo and David, who simultaneously nodded in agreement.

"I want to!"

Both David and Matteo, also said simultaneously, until they both look at each other, by putting on a face that looks equally confused.

Chloe smiled broadly, when she saw the movements of Matteo and David. "Now! ... Don't forget to come here on Sunday!"

Matteo, David, and Chloe can have casual conversations, discussing what each of them is doing, without mentioning Chloe's plans for a move.

So engrossed in chatting, the three of them even seemed to forget the length of time they had spent there.

Chloe who then thought about seeing the watch on her wrist, then realized that it was almost late at night.

"The sir! ... Forgive me ... But, I think right now I should ask that the two of you go home. Because it's time for me to check on Mister Matthew," Chloe said, carefully.

While putting on a disappointed look, David and Matteo then looked at each other for a while, until Chloe continued to say,

"You two don't forget to come here Sunday afternoon."

"Okay!" sahut Matteo, who again looks excited.

Not much different from David, who smiled widely, saying,

"Of course I won't miss it. I'll bring champagne."

Soon after, Matteo and David say goodbye to Chloe, taking turns giving Chloe a farewell hug before they leave the pavilion.

Then, in a hurry, Chloe went to the main house, to meet Matthew there.

Inside the house, Chloe searched for Matthew, who she found sitting alone, fluttering on her bed, staring at the screen of her phone.

"Hi, Sir!" Chloe greeted Matthew, walking up to him, until Matthew raised his gaze to look at Chloe.. "How's ken—"

Chloe did not have time to finish her sentence, because suddenly, Matthew pulled her up to sit on his lap, and sniffed the scent of Chloe's body.

It seemed that Matthew was so upset, that the crackling of his teeth clashing with each other, could be heard by Chloe.

"The sir! ... Is something wrong?" chloe asked, confused.

"B*jerk! ... Are you happy to have fun? ... I hate you!" matthew said, yelling at Chloe.

Although he looks furious, but Matthew actually hugs Chloe tightly.

"Sir!" chloe said, still not understanding.

"You are filled with the scent of David! ... Another one, ... What is Matteo perfume? You let those two hold you?" Matthew's voice was getting louder.
