The Part 32

"You want me to be patient until you stop working. I must also get the same reciprocity from you." 

Matthew's words along with all the requirements put forward by him, it felt unbelievable by Chloe who heard it.

"I don't go out every day on dates with Mister David. Aren't you overreacting, if you keep questioning about it?" Chloe.

"I don't want to know. If you don't agree, you can hand in your resignation now" Matthew said.

Coinciding with Matthew speaking, Chloe's phone suddenly rang, signaling that there was an incoming call there.

Chloe looked at her bag she had placed on the nightstand near the door, but had no intention of taking the call, and still wanted to argue with Matthew.

"You'll get my letter of resignation soon. Because I'm not a babysitter" Chloe said, then stood up from the floor.

"Whatdidyou say? You said I was a baby?" Matthew held Chloe back, immediately grabbed her arm and pulled it, until Chloe sat on Matthew's lap. 

"Can a baby hold you like this?" matthew asked, with a tone of voice that sounded like he was mocking Chloe.

"Don't act stupid! Your attitude is like a baby!" chloe said, while trying to stand back up, but Matthew kept him. 

"Let go! Or I'll sue you for harassment!" chloe said, with a high voice.

"Try it! ... My home. I'm hurt too. Who will believe that I harassed you, while you yourself came here!" matthew did not want to lose.

"I came here, because I was just doing my job!" 

Chloe rebelled, but it seemed futile, because even though one of her hands was injured, Matthew was still much stronger than Chloe.

"What job? You're not my employee! You came here to seduce me. Don't you see your appearance in the mirror?" Matthew was heard making his own statement.

"B*jerk! ... I'm not p*lacur!" chloe sahut, inflamed.

"Don't you just sell yourself to David?" Matthew's words really jerked and hurt Chloe, to the point of almost crying made.

"I never sold it...." With a quivering voice, Chloe was unable to continue her sentence, and eventually only continued with sobs.

Chloe who was exhausted physically and mentally, immediately felt that her entire body had become weak, and was no longer able to fight Matthew.

Whether Matthew feels guilty or not, of course, right now he's not forcing Chloe into custody, but it feels as if he's just giving Chloe a hug.

Matthew may have realized that the call could have been something important, so Matthew then let Chloe go.

"I will prepare my resignation letter. Tonight, too," said Chloe, as she walked away from Matthew.

Chloe then immediately picks up the phone, and receives an incoming call, which turns out to be from Maddison's contact.

"Hello, Mistress McLean!" hello Chloe.

"Hello, Chloe!" Maddison returned Chloe's greeting from across the phone. "How are you?" 

"I'm fine, Madam," said Chloe.

Chloe tried hard to keep her voice quiet, then tried to shift the conversation. "Are you and Mister Nathan going abroad?" 

"Yes. We've been here since last afternoon. But be preoccupied with the guests of Grandpa Matthew, so that I can only contact you now" Maddison replied.

"Chelle! ... Are you with Matthew now? ... Matteo said, Matthew was injured in his leg and hand" Maddison continued, hurriedly.

"Yes, Madame! ... I'm with Mister Matthew" Chloe replied, sober.

"Can you give her your phone for a minute? I called his phone, but it wasn't connected" Maddison said.

While Matthew talks on his cell phone, Chloe listens to what Matthew has to say to Maddison.

Chloe was silent for a while.
