Dragon Valley
A few days later, Lin Yan was woken up from his stupor all along. He felt someone holding him tightly. When he looked to the side, he found the unconscious Huan Caiyi.
“Kakak.” Mumbled Lin Yan. However, he was surprised when he saw Huan Caiyi's condition that looked very severe.
“Kakak, what happened? Who did this?” Shouted Lin Yan in surprise and directly checked on Huan Caiyi's state.
While inspecting it, Lin Yan was furious that his left arm and left leg were broken, and some parts of Huan Caiyi's body were pierced by sharp objects. Also, a strange poison spread throughout Huan Caiyi's body which made his condition even worse.
If not treated properly, Huan Caiyi will be killed if not given help within a few days.
While restraining his emotions, Lin Yan instantly took out a few objects from his spatial ring to stop the poison from spreading further. He also used a little of his blood to make the poison easier to remove. Of course Lin Yan's blood had the effect of eliminating poison because it had a unique skill called Immune 10,000 poison.
After he finished warding off the poison that was sure to disappear, Lin Yan also started patching the wounds on Huan Caiyi's body and bandaging all of Huan Caiyi's wrists and feet after giving him the proper herbs.
Lin Yan did not expect that Huan Caiyi would be injured that badly at this moment. He had absolutely no idea what had happened because he had no recollection of the incident when he killed the Patriarch of the Zhu clan as well as Liubo.
Lin Yan's extremely cold gaze looked around him and found some corpses. He examined the corpses of Liubo, Gozu and Dongzha and his anger grew because he knew the origin of who fought with Huan Caiyi.
“Group of Red Scorpions..! Someday you will perish in my hands!” Lin Yan clenched his hand until it dripped blood. The electric spark was visible a little because it was an element of its own.
Also, Lin Yan's gaze looked towards a strange place. On the surface of the ground was a human shape and there were some traces of dust which was where the Patriarch of the Zhu clan was killed. Lin Yan felt that it was also the place where someone had died from possibly being killed by Huan Caiyi.
“Sial! What happens when I'm unconscious?” Lin Yan was unable to calm himself down from anger. He only remembered that he had fallen unconscious when he touched the ancient writing around the altar.
Lin Yan returned to Huan Caiyi's side. He continued to examine Huan Caiyi's condition closely and could only sigh deeply. It would take a very long time for Huan Caiyi to be able to reuse the hands and feet that Liubo had broken before.
Lin Yan wanted to bring Huan Caiyi out of the Dragon Valley but his gaze was shifted to a strange altar that looked like a two meter tall stone pillar.
Out of curiosity, Lin Yan slowly approached the altar. There was nothing at all and there were only ancient writings that he did not understand.
Due to the previous incident, Lin Yan was very hesitant to touch that ancient writing. He clearly remembered that when it happened, his blood covered all the ancient writings. Although he tried to escape, of course he noticed what was happening.
After hesitating for a while, Lin Yan slashed his finger and dripped his blood on the ancient writing on the stone pillar.
Lin Yan's blood kept dripping but nothing happened. After a while, he wanted to give up. However, the altar shone slowly as the blood it needed was sufficient.
Those ancient writings slowly glowed a reddish-black color.
Drrrttt!
After the tremors stopped, visible on top of the stone pillar appeared a strange animal skin that looked slightly torn.
Lin Yan who was initially wary was confused because the strange vibration and light had disappeared. He slowly approached but did not lower his guard.
When Lin Yan arrived in front of that stone pillar. He saw an animal skin that had some ancient writings as well. The animal's skin looked strange as it looked like a snake's skin but it didn't.
Yet Lin Yan felt a certain familiarity just like the outer skin of the Dragon before. He felt that the skin on the stone pillar was the same as the skin of the previous Dragon that had mysteriously disappeared.
Not understanding about the written ancient writing, Lin Yan hesitantly touched it.
When it came into contact with Lin Yan, the skin that had the writing had a reaction. It was enveloped by the same mysterious qi as the one in the Dragon Valley.
Lin Yan instinctively retracted his hand and stared at the animal skin slowly floating in the air. Not long after, the animal's skin glowed brightly and instantly shot towards Lin Yan's head which made Lin Yan startled and try to dodge.
But the animal's skin first touched Lin Yan's forehead and to his surprise, the animal's skin went inside his head.
“What was that?” Lin Yan who was petrified on the spot, was speechless.
But, Lin Yan was startled when some information entered into his head. It was the content of the ancient writings that were on the skin of the previous animals.
Although Lin Yan did not understand about the meaning of the writing, it was consciously translated into a language that Lin Yan knew mysteriously.
“Hm? What is this?” A frown appeared on Lin Yan's forehead as he began to digest the information he had just received.
When reading the entire information, Lin Yan widened his eyes in disbelief at what he was receiving.
“Heavenly Art Book : Dragon God Body!” Lin Yan was stunned as he muttered those words.
The Celestial Art Book that Lin Yan received was a cultivation manual that made one capable of taking the form of a Dragon when it reached its peak.
The Celestial Art Book: The Dragon God Body has three main layers which are divided into three levels namely initial, intermediate and peak.
When processing the first layer, the purpose of the manual was to raise Vitalis, the strength of the body to a very different level and would also be able to use certain special techniques capable of devouring qi or different elements. The technique was referred to as, Soul Eater Dragon King.
That technique specialized Spiritual Root was used forcibly to devour any qi and turn it into an element of his own without any side effects. However the technique does not allow the user of the technique to use the elements he absorbs, only turning them into his own elements.
When reading the first layer of the Celestial Art Book: Dragon God Body, Lin Yan's body was stiff as a rock because all of those abilities as well as techniques were similar to his own body. Which meant, the Celestial Art Book: The Dragon God Body looked specially created for him.
