Chapter 58 - Submitting Mission Results
“Gu Yin? What the hell's going on? Why are you crying?” asked Lin Yan in a serious tone. He thought that something happened to Gu Yuena as long as she came out to complete a class B mission.
“I'm so worried about you. Why did you go on such a dangerous mission?” Gu Yin hugged Lin Yan getting stronger in fear that he would leave again.
Lin Yan was astonished by Gu Yin's words. “What happened to this woman?” his inner. He did not believe that a woman would worry about him until that.
Meanwhile, Huan Caiyi next door frowned slightly as a woman hugged her beloved sister. He was indeed jealous, but it was not meaningless in jealousy because he liked Lin Yan as a man. But it was blind jealousy because according to him, only he could spoil Lin Yan.
If Lin Yan knew Huan Caiyi's thoughts, he would be speechless.
“Why are you worried about me?” asked Lin Yan astonished.
“That's because of me.” Gu Yin's words came to a halt and he was instantly aware of what he was doing at the moment. Suddenly his face turned red like a tomato as it very boldly hugged Lin Yan and made a scene as if they were lovers and the man had left secretly then returned to him again.
Also, Gu Yin was aware that she had just wanted to express her feelings to Lin Yan which made her even more embarrassed. He immediately let go of Lin Yan and ran away like a cat stepped on its tail.
“What's with that woman?” Lin Yan was confused for a moment.
Huan Caiyi next to Lin Yan slightly pouted. “Of course because he likes you so much, Yan'er!”
“Ha?” Lin Yan was astonished at Huan Caiyi's words.
“We just got to know each other and it's impossible.” Lin Yan said as if he did not understand. He had actually known it from the beginning but this time he was very surprised that Gu Yin would like it to such an extent. But Lin Yan did not have the time to think of such a thing at the moment because he had to focus on increasing his strength.
Huan Caiyi simply shook his head. He also understood that Lin Yan actually understood but would not have time to think about romance.
“Come back. We'll report the mission tomorrow. After that we will take the wilderness entrance exam in.” said Lin Yan and walked towards his residence. Huan Caiyi only nodded small and followed Lin Yan.
The incident that happened in the forest of the first region was certainly known by the Heavenly Dragon sect master. He sent a very powerful elder to watch the fight that was taking place.
And the news had already entered the ears of the Heavenly Dragon sect master which made him smile triumphantly.
Of course the Heavenly Dragon sect master had won the bet between the Heavenly Dragon sect with all their clans and alliances. This was a great advantage times for the Heavenly Dragon sect as it had obtained many precious objects.

“Nothing. I will cultivate for a while before resting.” said Lin Yan and immediately sat down cross-legged.
Seeing Lin Yan start cultivating, he immediately did the same. He had not fought directly against the Golden Ape King before so he had to digest all the Blood Pill properties he had consumed. Perhaps after that his cultivation would increase to the fourth stage Xiantian level or perhaps the fifth stage.
A few hours later, Lin Yan opened his eyes as someone knocked on the door of his residence. He activated the King's Eye and saw who it was.
Lin Yan sighed back then opened the door of his residence.
“What's Gu Yin?” lin Yan asked as he looked at the beautiful young lady in front of the door while holding a parcel.
“You must be tired after running a mission in a very long time. I made this for you.” Reply Gu Yin while handing over a parcel then fled once again with a red hue on her cheek.
Lin Yan's mouth opened and closed several times. He then shook his head and sat down and opened the parcel.
Huan Caiyi opened his eyes slightly and glanced towards the parcel held by Lin Yan. He only chuckled a little then continued his cultivation.
Lin Yan who opened the parcel, was slightly surprised by the contents. There were some delicious-looking dishes and a tea filled inside the bamboo. He opened the bamboo lid containing the tea and smelled a refreshing aroma. He smiled and drank slowly.
After which, Lin Yan's gaze was diverted to a letter that Gu Yin must have made as well. As he read it, he simply chuckled and stored it inside his spatial ring. After that, he enjoyed the dish and shared it with Huan Caiyi. Then, they both rest.
The next morning, Gu Yin came back with a meal and ran away after giving it to Lin Yan.
Before Lin Yan spoke, Gu Yin's figure had disappeared from his sight. He just shook his head afterwards.
A few hours later, Lin Yan and Huan Caiyi went to the place of mission submission. The two of them were reunited with the female Elder who had always guarded the place.
“We want to report the completion of the mission.” said Lin Yan while submitting two class B mission registration documents.
The female elder was shocked upon seeing the mission. He originally did not want to believe it but Lin Yan took out all the things that were the target of the mission. Inevitably, the female Elder had to trust him then take care of the gifts Lin Yan would receive.
“The reward for the King of the forest of the first region is 25,000 merit points. And for the other Golden Ape King, this would be given 5,000 merit points. Also after counting all the spirit stars you brought, the reward you received was 33,000 merit points. And as for weapons as one other gift, you will receive them when entering the wilderness in.”
“Also, you two have reached the Xiantian level. Which means, one or two more days an Elder will pick you two up, I've taken care of the documents about your ascension and waited in a certain place to conduct the deep intermediate entrance exam. The rest will be explained by the Elders who will pick you up.” said the female Elder while handing over some documents and tokens belonging to Lin Yan that have been filled with 33,000 merit points.
“Good.” Lin Yan did not ask anymore and took his documents and tokens then left the place together with Huan Caiyi.
The elder stared at Lin Yan's departure and still could not believe that it was that child who had completed the mission in a much faster time than expected.
Even the new disciples who took on the mission today were surprised that the new disciples of their generation who had successfully completed the class B mission.
