Chapter 08 - The Grief and Determination of Lin Yan

The rain arrived earlier than usual. The sun was slowly rising in the village.
All the villagers began to wake up to continue their activities as they had in the previous days.
In a simple house, the figure of a 14-year-old youth slowly opened his eyes.
“Huft... It seems the day is already bright.” the figure of the young man who is Lin Yan slowly sat on his simple mattress.

Lin Yan did not think too much about it and immediately cleared himself. After he finished, he immediately put on clothes and headed towards the kitchen.
As usual, Lin Yan cooked breakfast for her as well as her grandparents.
Time continued to pass, Lin Yan had yet to realize that his grandfather and grandmother had left. After finishing cooking, Lin Yan brought the food to the table where they used to eat together.

Lin Yan calmed himself down and looked back towards the letter left behind by his grandmother.
After reading it, Lin Yan still did not accept about his grandfather and grandmother having important affairs. And if, there was a word about them it would probably be reunited within 5-10 years at the earliest.
Lin Yan had originally intended to stay in the Rainbow Village for that long to wait for the return of his grandparents. But, as it continued to read, Lin Yan's face changed instantly.
What Lin Yan read scared him. In the letter, her grandmother said that they might die while on a mission.
Lin Xi made the inscription that Lin Yan should fight to be strong. The world of cultivators was filled with dangers everywhere.
‘Be strong, Yan'er. Grandma and Grandpa love you very much. But we can't take you with us because it's too dangerous. Increase your strength, maybe that way, you'll find where we are.
