From the start he noticed, Gu Lang was pressured for underestimating the opponent too much. It was visible from Xia Yue'er and Lin Yan's attacks that only inflicted a slight wound on Gu Lang. That was what made Elder Gu Rong confident in his son's victory.

The two of them had of course heard the talk that the Patriarch of the Gu clan had with Elder Gu Lang because the Patriarch of the Gu clan had connected it directly from the start.

“You're considered a genius in the Gu clan, aren't you? I'll show you what the real genius means.”

Above Lin Yan, a Black Dragon was created which made Gu Lang instantly wary.
“Black Dragon Armor!”
The Black Dragon immediately faded back and enveloped Lin Yan. The black-coloured armor enveloped Lin Yan from the tip of his foot to up to his neck. He deliberately did that so that the shape change was not detected by anyone so that everyone who watched thought that there was a technique.

The discussions of the Gu clan members broke out when they saw the appearance of Lin Yan being wrapped by an Armor that looked extremely strong.

When Gu Lang wanted to make a movement from a distance, he froze on the spot when he saw a large number of spears heading towards him.

Shouted Gu Lang and the surrounding ice dome to protect him.

A streak of explosions ensued that left the place covered by the black steam from Lin Yan's techniques.
The elder Gu Rong who was staring at it clenched his hands. He glanced towards the Patriarch of the Gu clan who glanced at him the entire time. He knew that if he moved, the consequences would be more severe.
But he was surprised when he saw Lin Yan who suddenly moved at high speed towards the defending Gu Lang.
When the previous technique had not been completed completely, Lin Yan had already arrived in front of Gu Lang who was no longer protected by the ice dome as it was destroyed by his technique.
