Chapter 88 - Hidden Purpose
The guard led Lin Yan and Huan Caiyi to approach a large building at the center of the Zhu clan.
As he approached, an elder stared at the arrival of the two led by the guards.
“Elders, both of them are disciples of the Heavenly Dragon sect who took the mission that the Patriarch published.” The guard bowed slightly and explained what Lin Yan and Huan Caiyi were aiming for.
A frown appeared on the elder's forehead but he only nodded as it was impossible to resist anyone taking the mission. It would be contrary to the cooperation between clans and sects.
“Follow me, I'll take you to Patriak.” The elder immediately turned around and brought Lin Yan and Huan Caiyi with him.
Lin Yan and Huan Caiyi understood that they were both extremely underestimated. But both do not care at all because the outcome is the most important.
The elder led Lin Yan into a sizable room and within the room were several individuals in sight. Most of them were old men who were probably elders as well.
“Patriak, both of them are disciples of the Heavenly Dragon sect who took the mission of investigating the Dragon Valley.” The elder spoke immediately upon reaching the room.
All the individuals who were there were staring towards Lin Yan and Huan Caiyi. Just glancing at the strength levels of the two, all of them only shook their heads slightly but made no comment at all.
Patriarch also did not make many formalities and directly spoke, “Since you guys have taken that mission, I will explain some details.”
Then the Patriarch explained that the Dragon Valley was a very dark forest. In the middle of the forest, there were swamps, ravines and even strange places where often cultivators often disappeared.

Lin Yan and Huan Caiyi only gave a small nod and the Elder directly led the two towards the Dragon valley located not far from Zhu city.
After the departure of Lin Yan and Huan Caiyi, one of the Elders opened his voice, “Are you sure to give the information contained in the ancient book to the two children?”
“Yes. It is better for us to search safely because the previous Sect Master of the Heavenly Dragon has warned us about the disciple who took the previous mission that just disappeared. That disciple is one of the geniuses of the Heavenly Dragon sect that makes the sect master a little angry at us for not giving all the information there.”

“Better you increase cultivation first because it will make the mission success percentage higher.” Huan Caiyi immediately said as it would not hurt to wait for another two days and after that, they would go inside.
