Chapter 264 - The Strange Place
The Ruins of the Long Clan
After finishing killing the three Demons guarding the entrance of the Ancient Ark control room, Lin Yan and Xia Yue'er moved and arrived before the door.
“There is a strong formation here Lin Yan. Are you able to clear the Formation that prevents anyone from entering?” Xia Yue'er asked as she tried to touch the barrier.
Lin Yan did not reply and used the King's Eye to look at the Formation.
Not until one minute, Lin Yan smiled slightly and raised his right arm. Qi slowly flowed then formed some writing on his palm.

When Lin Yan touched the barrier with his palm, the Formation slowly faded.
“As expected of you Lin Yan.” Xia Yue'er nodded in satisfaction as if she was the great one.
Lin Yan did not comment at all as he was already used to Xia Yue'er's way of speaking strange things. He slowly walked into the hallway which looked very dark.
Meanwhile, Xia Yue'er directly darted into Lin Yan's clothes. Although he was already not too afraid of the darkness, still he felt more comfortable when he was inside Lin Yan's clothes.
When walking slowly, Lin Yan continued to stare towards the front using the King's Eyes to see if there were any traps or not. He continued walking as if the road had no end at all.

Elsewhere close to the Long Clan was, Nie Guo suddenly gazed in a certain direction and that was where the Ancient Ark was located.
“There were intruders on the Ancient Ark,” said Nie Guo with a cold face.
Some of the high-level Devils around him also put on a serious face while gazing towards the spot that Nie Guo was staring at.

A great tremor occurred which made Lin Yan startled as he was like hitting a very hard iron using his bare hands and without being coated by qi.
“This.. is not an illusion. What is this?” Lin Yan's face grew more serious. He closed his eyes and seemed to think and calm himself.
The flow of qi in Lin Yan's body seemed to have come to a halt for a while. It is now like a stone that does not breathe and merges with the place.
When Lin Yan was concentrating, he sensed something very faint. Far away, he could see a strange speck of light that became the source of the mysterious power that existed in the place.

Lin Yan blasted his qi then shot out at an extremely high speed towards that speck of light. In his right hand now appeared the Dragon Killing Spear and he immediately swung it with his eyes closed when he felt the distance with the beam of light was very close.

Xia Yue'er slowly flew up and looked at Lin Yan closely. “Hey, say something.”
“What's Yue'er?” Asked Lin Yan tired. He kept the Dragon Killing Spear and looked towards Xia Yue'er with a blank look.
“Why did you shut up earlier? Didn't you know that my heart almost fell out of the thought that you died like a rock!” Xia Yue'er put on an annoyed face towards Lin Yan.
Lin Yan opened his mouth several times because he did not know what to say. If only he had not solved the strange thing, it was certain that Xia Yue'er would have been stuck in that place for a very long time or perhaps forever.
Not knowing what to say, Lin Yan simply ignored Xia Yue'er which made Xia Yue'er upset.
Lin Yan arrived in front of the stone monument and stared at the three crystal balls carefully to find out what exactly the object was because there was no record of it in the book he had recorded about Ancient Ark.
When Lin Yan tried to touch one of those crystal balls, he instantly retracted his hand as there was a mysterious qi that appeared suddenly.

The reddish-black-clothed Qi slowly gathered and formed the figure of someone Lin Yan and Xia Yue'er had seen in the Dragon Valley.
“Second Generation Human Emperor.” Lin Yan muttered as he stared at the figure.
The figure looked at Lin Yan closely and looked like he was confused.
“Second Generation Human Emperor? Did I finally get that title? It was unexpected.” The figure of the man who looked so young was also a small smile hearing what Lin Yan said.
