Chapter 24 - Mushroom Earth
Lin Yan raised the corner of his lips. He would have no fear at all for the three young men who seemed to be trying to chase him and avenge him. He did not wait for them and continued to move into the forest. If they managed to catch up to him, he would kill the three of them on the spot without any mercy at all.
“Hm? What is it?” Lin Yan looked downwards and found a mushroom that seemed to be moving on the ground surface.
“Isn't that Earth Mushroom?” Lin Yan was a little excited about having read about plants that were able to move like animals.
Also, the resources that came from the Sky Dragon sect for the outer wilderness disciples were 5 Earth Mushrooms each month for one disciple.
Earth mushrooms are a type of plant that has abundant qi in them. For a fourth stage Qi Foundation cultivator, consuming 5 Earth Mushrooms would increase his cultivation by one full stage.
Without wasting any time, Lin Yan instantly shot down to catch the Earth Mushroom. If the Earth Mushroom were to be uprooted, it would definitely die instantly but the pure qi present in the plant's body would not fade.
The moving speed of the Earth Mushroom is also very high. But Lin Yan did not feel any problem to overcome such speed.
Lin Yan coated his legs with qi and directly shot towards the Earth Mushroom.
The Earth Mushroom looks panicked because it feels something is approaching it. But it was too late to escape because Lin Yan had directly caught and plucked it from the ground.
“Panen this time passable.” Lin Yan held the Earth Mushroom in his hand and gave a small smile. He put it into his space ring.
When Lin Yan wanted to move, a person's voice sounded in his ears.

Lin Yan turned his head towards the top and found the three youths who looked a little breathless as they forced themselves to chase after Lin Yan.
The three young men were furious that Lin Yan made them need great effort in order to catch up to Lin Yan.

“What do we want? How funny you ask like that boy!” one of them jumped down while putting on a dark face. The other two also came downstairs to get ready to kill Lin Yan on the spot.
The distance where they were at this moment was already very far from the entrance gate and they were not worried that someone would find out that they killed Lin Yan. It was common for disciples to be killed in the forest so that the sect would not find out what was happening.

The three stared at the place and laughed out loud.

“It seems there is no more discussion. If so, die.” said Lin Yan flat.

Lin Yan instantly shot out at high speed after coating his soles with qi. He appeared in front of the young man who had the closest distance to him.
The young man was surprised at Lin Yan's speed. He immediately pulled out his sword from its scabbard to kill Lin Yan.
“Mati!” the young man shouted as he slashed towards the newly arrived Lin Yan in front of him.
Lin Yan who had already activated the King's Eyes, smiled faintly. He immediately looked at the direction of the trajectory of the attack and tilted his body.
The young man's sword did not manage to slash at Lin Yan. He wanted to launch another attack but it was too late.

“What?” the two young men were surprised. Not only was Lin Yan able to withstand their slashes, the appearance of the two swords in Lin Yan's hands shocked them.
“Ring space!” yell those two young men. Of course they know about storage like that. The intermediate disciples within mostly had it.
But for outer wilderness disciples it was extremely rare to have one. If anyone had space rings among the outer intermediate disciples, it was certain that they were from influential powers.
Regardless of the cries of the two young men, Lin Yan instantly pulled out one of the swords in his hand and tilted his body back.
One of the attacks fell down and stuck towards the ground as Lin Yan's enemies lost their balance.

One more of them is dead. The last youth was trembling as both of his comrades had been killed. Out of fear, he turned to run away.

As Lin Yan approached the young man turned his head back while shouting. “Leave me alone. I'm sorry for trying to hunt you down! Also, don't you know what the punishment is for killing a fellow disciple?”
Lin Yan did not respond and simply chased after. When he got closer, he immediately swung his sword again.
“Sial!” the young man knew that Lin Yan would not let go. He raised his sword to hold it.

The young man's feet sank slightly on the ground because the weight he was holding was too high.
“Very strong!” the young man was frightened. He was aware at this moment that they had provoked a monster.

Lin Yan directly kicked the young man's stomach which made him bounce then crashed into a tree with his body.
“Please forgive me.” The young man pleaded with a trembling body while trying to stand up.
“Force you? I'm sorry, I've given you guys a chance before. I won't give you another chance.” replied Lin Yan indifferently.
The young man was trembling. He knew he would not escape. Before Lin Yan made a move, the young man looked the other way as there were some cultivators passing by as well.
“Please me! This kid tried to kill sesa-”

“What a noise!” Lin Yan directly stabbed him. He was not afraid at all even though others saw him killing fellow sect disciples because from the beginning they had wanted to kill him first.
The two cultivators who were passing by were shocked by what Lin Yan had done.
Lin Yan looked at the two cultivators with flat faces. He flicked his sword to drop blood and then stored his sword back into the space ring.
“Do you two want to interfere?”
