Chapter 185 - Avoiding the Trap Formation

Lin Yan and Gu Yin moved at their highest speed towards the wilderness. As both of them held the tokens given by the Star Kingdom guards, both of them were free to enter the barrier.

Gu Yin puffed out her already big little chest with pride.

The goal of all cultivators was of course the same, which was as fast as possible reaching Sapphire Lake, since the main prize was there. The precious thing in the middle of the road was only a bonus for cultivators.
The three cultivators who were following Lin Yan and Gu Yin also increasingly believed that Lin Yan had a powerful Formation ability because it could detect the Trap Formation halfway through.
After moving for almost three hours, Lin Yan and Gu Yin came out of the wilderness and arrived at a forest area that did not have many trees. Even in the distance, it looked as though very many cultivators were moving as fast as they could towards the top.

“Why are you saying that it's something amazing if there's a powerful spirit beast guarding it?” Gu Yin asked in astonishment.
“Yin'er. Use your small head to predict something, there is no way the spirit beast is standing guard at the place if there is nothing special.” Lin Yan pulled at Gu Yin's cheek that was wrapped in a veil and slightly chuckled.
Gu Yin pouted a little but did not shake Lin Yan's hand because of course he did not mind if his lover did such a thing, instead he felt very happy despite not showing it.
