Chapter 33 - The Plan of the Sky Dragon Sect
All the explanations of the Elder made Lin Yan deduce something that other outer intermediate disciples would not know.
Of course Lin Yan who had intelligence and wisdom knew what the purpose of the class B mission was.
From the information that Lin Yan had gathered, in the past ten years, very few good talents had appeared among the outer wilderness disciples. Only a few of them each year make it in. While the others, were stuck at the Houtian level of cultivation and could not even take the exam to enter the inner wilderness.
Also, the explanation of the Elder had shortcomings, there was no mention of time to complete the mission which meant that this was a long-term mission. The forest of the first region was vast, no one knew how vast it was and finding its center was definitely difficult. There was no explanation about giving him the map as well which made Lin Yan even more aggravating his speculation.
The speculations that Lin Yan discovered actually changed his gaze slightly towards the Heavenly Dragon sect.

This was the face that Lin Yan's grandfather and grandmother wanted to show so they sent Lin Yan into a sect like the Heavenly Dragon sect. Otherwise, they would have thought it better to bring Lin Yan out of the Northern Mainland and leave him in one of the great sects they could trust.

Lin Yan's grandfather and grandmother wanted Lin Yan to be independent and able to think ahead of him. Not relying on anything that cannot be trusted.
Lin Ming and Lin Xi were indeed betting on Lin Yan's safety, but the old couple was confident that Lin Yan would be able to pass all the trials that would come his way.

It would be best if the Heavenly Dragon sect made a rule that outer intermediate disciples had a time limit, otherwise being able to enter the inner wilderness region they would be expelled. But this was really cruel by letting the disciples fight with the powerful spirit beasts and even letting the disciples kill each other for the sake of resources to see which disciple had the potential to grow.” Inner Lin Yan.
Of course all that did not escape all the estimates that Lin Yan had deduced. He was not a foolish child, from childhood he was reckless in terms of fighting the enemy, but for any knowledge, it had been carefully taught by Lin Ming and Lin Xi although Lin Yan's nature more often appeared in a stubborn direction.

Gu Yuena and Gu Yin sighed in relief when they heard Lin Yan's words even though they didn't know that Lin Yan was going to take the mission.
“Losers.” Dengus Meng Yang's. He provoked Lin Yan into taking the mission and the possibility that he could beat him up inside the forest. Also, even though they did not meet, he was confident that Lin Yan would be killed at the hands of the spirit beasts which made the opportunity to obtain Gu Yuena even greater.
Gu Yuena and Gu Yin put on angry faces as they both naturally knew that Meng Yang was trying to provoke Lin Yan into the forest.
Meng Yang felt a little awkward when she saw Gu Yuena's angry face. But he ignored her and looked at Lin Yan with a hint of provocation.
“Want to trap me? Without your provocation, I will definitely take the mission.” Inner Lin Yan chuckled inwardly.
Lin Yan ignored Meng Yang. He was very lazy to serve someone he certainly knew clearly that he was trying to chase Gu Yuena.
“Well Gu Yuena, Gu Yin, I'll go first. I will go back to training.” said Lin Yan then walked away. He seems not interested in the mission even though he really wants to go.
Gu Yuena and Gu Yin wanted to leave with Lin Yan, but they thought back when they heard Lin Yan was about to train. They did not want to disturb Lin Yan in his training.
On the other hand, Meng Yang and Meng Song put on ugly faces upon learning that Lin Yan would not be taking part in the mission. But they were not worried, after the mission was completed, the two of them would deal with Lin Yan.
Lin Yan who had not so taken the mission that became his original purpose came to the building, turning towards a certain building. He wanted to take enough resources in exchange for merit points.
Arriving at the building, Lin Yan exchanged all his merit points and only obtained eleven Earth Mushrooms. It would not make him break through his cultivation because he knew that he needed a much greater resource.
Knowing that, Lin Yan finally made up his mind and went to the other building. The place was a building to get permission to go out of the sect because Lin Yan wanted to buy some items in the Star Kingdom.
With so many gold coins, he was sure that what he wanted would be found in the Star Kingdom.
