Chapter 83 - The Second Mistake
During the day, Lin Yan and Huan Caiyi went to the business center of the Dagang city to find Long Gu.
The city of Dagang was bustling as usual. There was no day in the city that was not busy by the merchants of various small, medium and rural towns.
While walking towards the destination, naturally Lin Yan would pay attention to all the things being sold.

“He must be on the top floor.” Huan Caiyi said as he pointed towards a very distant staircase.
Lin Yan nodded small and went straight to the highest floor.
When it passed the second floor, there remained no objects of interest to Lin Yan. Even on the third floor it remains the same.
However, when it was about to ascend to the fourth floor, there was a guard blocking Lin Yan and Huan Caiyi from continuing to ascend.
“Stop! This place cannot be entered by just anyone!” The guard said in a cold tone.
Without replying, Lin Yan issued the VIP token of Long Pavilion which he did not dispose of.
The guard wrinkled slightly as it was naturally familiar with the token that was in Lin Yan's hands. But he did not believe at all that a child would have such a token.
“Are you trying to fake this token, son? You must know the consequences of doing that! You better hand over the token before I report this to the superiors! Also, you will have to pay compensation for trying to replicate that token!” The selfless guard tried to reap the profits because Lin Yan still looked like a child.
“Oh? It seems that we will get more profit this time, Yan'er.” Huan Caiyi smirked viciously.
Lin Yan only raised the corner of his lips because he knew what his brother meant. He looked at the guard with a casual look as usual then handed over the token. “What compensation do you want?” He did not try to argue about the authenticity of the token or anything like that because it was too troublesome.
The guard grinned then replied, “You have to pay 1,000 gold coins! Otherwise, don't blame if you suffer!” Threaten the guard.
Lin Yan did not comment at all then handed him a space ring containing 1,000 gold coins.
“This, but tell my message to Long Gu, our business is done.”
After saying that, Lin Yan immediately left together with Huan Caiyi which made the guard confused. He was certainly not surprised about the name Long Gu that Lin Yan knew because almost everyone in the city of Dagang knew his name.
However, from this incident, the Royal family would definitely suffer more.
Lin Yan and Huan Caiyi only left that place because there was no other business.
“Are we going directly to Zhu city?” Ask Huan Caiyi.
Huan Caiyi only chuckled as he always felt comforted when Lin Yan played like an old fox.

In the business center of Dagang city, the previous building where Lin Yan and Huan Caiyi came from, Long Gu felt astonished from time to time because Lin Yan did not come.

Long Gu stopped his steps and his face was slightly ugly.
“Then, what does the child give as compensation?” Asked the other Guardians with envious gazes upon seeing the token of Long Pavilion. It was certain that his partner would get certain rights when handing the token over to their superiors.
“I asked for 1,000 gold coins and the boy looked a little scared even though he looked calm on the surface. Then, do you know what she said?” The guard asked in a mocking tone.
“What?”
