Chapter 284 - The Emperor Candidate?

All the high-level cultivators present in the room put on a serious face when they heard about the creation of a new Kingdom.
“Let me be clear once more. Previously we wanted to form a Kingdom, but, there are many Kingdoms in the Northern Mainland and there are two Great Kingdoms namely the Moon and Star Kingdom. Therefore, I wish to have discussed with the leader of the Alchemist Association in order to form an Empire.”
“And this meeting, we will determine whether we form a Kingdom or an Empire!” said Di Shan and looked at all the leaders of the great powers who were in the room one by one.
Lin Yan who heard that fell silent. He certainly knew that if the Star Kingdom was left like that without a ruler, there would be many forces fighting each other to become the new Royal family in the Star Kingdom.
The leaders of the great powers were discussing in that place for quite a long time.
Lin Yan, Huan Caiyi and Gu Yin just kept quiet and heard all their conversations.
Although Lin Yan was considered an important person, he did not open his voice at all because according to him, his experience in organizing such a thing had not matured.
“Hei Yin'er.. Where is Yuena?” Lin Yan asked curiously in a voice that was small enough not to be heard by anyone.
Gu Yin stared at Lin Yan with a slightly suspicious gaze as he never asked at all where his cousin was. “Why did you suddenly ask about my cousin?”

And from what we discussed, the candidate to appraise the Emperor of the Sun Empire is Di Tian, Li Hu, Patriarch of the Gu Clan, Patriarch of the Cii Clan, Sect Master.” In Shan called him all the candidates who would become the First Emperor of the Sun Empire.
But, Lin Yan twitched when he heard his name spoken at the end.
“And the last one is Lin Yan, war hero.”
The gazes of all the cultivators were fixed on Lin Yan who seemed to open his mouth shut a few times.
All the leaders of the great powers who were inside the room looked at each other because Lin Yan had immediately resigned before the election was made.
But no one commented at all as it felt that Lin Yan had his own reasons. After all, they were aware that Lin Yan seemed to dislike being bound in one place only, in other words, Lin Yan was the type of adventurer youth.
Li Hu who heard that even raised the corner of his lips because he already knew that Lin Yan would not want to become an Emperor. He was aware that if Lin Yan wanted to, perhaps most of the leaders in that place would appoint him as the First Emperor. However, when he recalled Lin Yan's identity, he immediately knew that Lin Yan was about to leave from the Northern Mainland towards the Saint Continent.
The Patriarch, the Great Elders of the Gu Clan and Gu Shen were just silent as they had expected as well that Lin Yan would refuse to become an Emperor.
“Alright, we won't force you. However, since you are considered a war hero, the monument about you will be immortalized. And, before the Sun Empire is formed, you can ask us for something if you need anything. This is all we can give you.” said Di Shan.
Hearing that, Lin Yan smiled and gave a small nod while staring towards Li Hu.
Sensing Lin Yan's gaze, Li Hu let out a long sigh as it seemed that the pockets of the Alchemist Association would be torn out in a moment although perhaps many other great powers would contribute something to Lin Yan's needs.
Huan Caiyi who was staring at his younger brother's gaze towards Li Hu immediately giggled sweetly because he knew that Lin Yan would ask for a lot of resources to increase his cultivation.
Naturally Lin Yan would not miss the opportunity to obtain resources. He was already well aware that in the Northern Mainland the resources were extremely limited, otherwise, it would be impossible for only a few of the cultivators to reach the level of the King Realm.

“Good, we will prepare everything within a few days.” Li Hu gave a small nod and knew what Lin Yan meant.
“Good, if it is like that, I will withdraw from the meeting.” said Lin Yan and bowed slightly. He slowly walked out of the room and Huan Caiyi and Gu Yin followed Lin Yan from behind.
There was nothing at all that stopped Lin Yan because they all had the thought that Lin Yan was indeed not too fond of such affairs although some of them were well aware that Lin Yan was very shortcut deep political affairs. Lin Yan's intelligence was indeed very worthy of respect but they were all aware that Lin Yan's place would definitely not be stopped in the Northern Mainland.
The leaders of the great powers certainly know very well that the world is vast even though only a few know the way to go.
Among them all, perhaps the one who knows how to get out of the Northern Mainland can be counted on the finger. And one of them was Li Hu, who was asked by Lin Yan about the information of how to go to the Saint Continent.
