Chapter 184 - Looking at Old Acquaintances
Lin Yan's gaze was not sidetracked from one particular figure who was currently being together with his Sect members.
Gu Yin instantly noticed Lin Yan's gaze that had stopped on the road and was staring in that direction. He frowned because he had seen it too.
“Isn't she a woman from the Bamboo Sect?” Ask Gu Yin.
“Yes. I did not expect that he would come to this Site either. Even his cultivation level had reached the sixth stage Earth Realm just like you.” Lin Yan nodded small.
“What's his name? I've forgotten.” Gu Yin tried to remember it carefully.
“Yue-Yue.” Reply Lin Yan.
Gu Yin pouted for a moment. He naturally knew his name and wanted to confirm whether his Lin Yan clearly remembered who the woman he had fought with was in the Competition held in the Thousand Sword Sect.
Although Gu Yin was a little dissatisfied, he was still calm as usual because Lin Yan and Yue-Yue were just acquaintances and he was his current partner or rather, he was just an acquaintance, Gu Yin had considered herself Lin Yan's lover although there was no confirmation about it at all.
“Alright, let's find a place to stay for less than a week.” Lin Yan ignored the Bamboo Sect group and went with Gu Yin to look for an inn.

“Nobody. Maybe it's just your feeling.” One of the middle-aged men spoke, he was an Elder from the Bamboo Sect who was sent by the Bamboo Sect Master to accompany their disciples' journey towards the Sapphire Mountain Site.
Yue-Yue looked mused for a moment then gave a small nod. He also felt that it was just his feelings.
“Let's go find a place to stay. Be careful in this Pearl city because even though the Royal Family manages it, they do not interfere in the affairs of the fight, they are only tasked to quote the entrance fee and enter the Site.” The Bamboo Sect Elder explained as he slowly walked.
All of the disciples of the Bamboo Sect nodded their heads small and knew that it was all aimed at reducing the number of competitors who took precious objects from within the Site.

In some places, many strong cultivators who came from great clans and famous Sects sent their disciples and family members to enter the Site. Not only in Pearl city, in the other three cities, many Earth Realm level cultivators had come. It was not only limited to Sects or great clans, either, even wandering cultivators or perverted flow cultivators came because there was no prohibition for anyone to enter if they had paid the fee demanded by the Star Kingdom.
