Sharing Love: Winning Without Love

Sharing Love: Winning Without Love
Candle Philosophy

“... because a home isn’ just a place to live. Home is something that can give you warmth and happiness."

Talking about the house actually does not only talk about the building, the type of house, design, until the furniture that fulfills it. Home is a place that gives us warmth and happiness.

Home is the most comfortable place, the place that makes its inhabitants be themselves, laugh together, share stories of life, cry together, laugh at stupidity, laugh at stupidity, and a place where a family intertwined with love always welcomes us home.

"What kind of house do you want?" ask Radit to Khaira.

"I don't have any special requests, Mom. A small and simple house is no problem. Adjusted to the budget of both of us. After all, now the price of the house is certainly expensive, just enough. Do not force it, Mas. important in the house we can take shelter and build our dreams both." replied Khaira still by leaning her head on Radit's chest.

Hearing Khaira's answer did make Radit happy, his wife never asked for more, no special request, even the views that Khaira gave it opened up Radit's understanding.

Radit deserves to be grateful, at a time when many women have many requests this and that, but his wife was simple and wise.

As the saying goes, "a wise wife is more than a jewel." Such was the figure of Khaira in Radit's eyes. His wife was like a jewel that remained sparkling even though her habitat was changing. A gem that always radiates its luster in its own way.

"Savings are there sweetheart, there are deposits, there is money from stock income, there is also, I also have personal savings. So you can buy the house and furniture. I don't mind if you want to request something, as long as you're my wife you never request anything. Try to ask me once, instead I will be very happy." said Radit sincerely. Given the length of their marriage, Khaira was among the few wives who did not want much. His life habits were simple, spending his money carefully as well. So even Radit occasionally does not matter if his wife makes a request to him.

Radit landed his kisses on Khaira's forehead as he gently stroked his head. "I don't care if you have special requests including for our dream home. For example, the design is like how, what the concept is, how many rooms, what the furniture wants, and so on. Tell me, I don't mind. As long as I can make it happen, I will definitely make it happen." he said earnestly.

Khaira changed her original sitting position, now she sits slightly facing her husband. "For me a house, whatever its shape, whatever the material used, whatever the concept, the origin in it there is love. You've heard the parable of four candles, have you?" khaira asked while looking at Radit's face.

Radit immediately shook his head, "Not yet, never. What'sthat?" his face seemed curious about the four-wax parable he had never heard before.

Khaira began to lift up her four fingers starting from her index finger, middle finger, ring finger, and little finger.

Khaira paused her remark for a moment, "So I have no special request, Mas. I only hope that these four candles with each of these philosophies are in our homes later. Our home should begin with a feeling of peace from both of our hearts, based on faith, and lived with love. When peace, faith, and love begin to falter, remember we still have hope of reviving that peace, faith, and love. Hope will not be lost, hope will not be in vain, because hope is like anchors. And who can keep these four candles burning and not going to go out?"

Radit listened to Khaira's explanation seriously and was so amazed by his wife that he could shake his heart with her words, he began to clasped Khaira's hands tightly. "That can keep the four candles burning, both of us," he replied as he stared fixedly at Khaira's eyes.

Khaira nodded her head and smiled. "That's right, the only thing that can keep those four candles burning is the two of us. You and me, us! And, we're both gonna be the ones who're gonna be emitting that light for the rest of the house."

Radit breathed. "I'm lucky to have you as my wife. Your knowledge is broad, you are wise, you don't want much" he said, still holding Khaira's hand. "... i'm sure you'll be a good mother, a great mother to our children."

Khaira just smiled hearing the praise from her husband. "I'm still learning and I need to learn a lot. There are still many shortcomings, my mother. Not just me, but us. We'll learn to be good and great parents to our children, won't we?"

"Yes, we'll learn together. I hope I can be a good father to our children. I also tried to keep the four candles burning in our household. We can't put it out yes, add one more candle dear." said Radit.

Khaira narrowed her eyes, "What Mas?"

"Faith! So we have five candles as the basis of our household. Five candle philosophy. Because there must be mutual trust," said Radit who is possessed by Khaira.

"Take a. Agree... There must be trust in it too. If at any time there is rain or even a storm, keep trusting each other that we are capable of going through it all. Don't you?" khaira.

"Not only that, if there's any untrue news out there about us, don't immediately speculate, it needs trust between each other. Please, trust me the same. Just like I always trusted you. Yea?"

Khaira again scatters her face on her husband's chest with her hands wrapped around Radit's waist. "Yes, I believe you, Mom."

"Thank you, baby... Imagining our two households, I believe we can get through all of them. Laughter, grief, even tears are very likely to color our household life. However, if we are always together like this, we will be able to live it. Honey, you know what? I love you so much... Everyday I Love U...."
