Sharing Love: Winning Without Love

Sharing Love: Winning Without Love
Memorable Both

If there is one day that feels very surprising to Khaira, it certainly is today. Saturday was a surprise day for Khaira. She did not expect, her husband came to visit her early in the morning with a Chicken Porridge, then the two rode on a motorcycle, and now the two were walking together in the Old City area, Jakarta.

The area, often referred to as the "Old Batavia" became the first place Radit and Khaira visited after four months of marriage.

When in the last 16th century, the Old City was dubbed the "Gem of Asia" by the Sailors of Europe, now this place also became a historic place in Radit and Khaira.

A couple who look like strangers are now sitting together enjoying a glass of cold chirpy tea sold in the Old City area.

"Drink, this is good." Radit opened the conversation, seeing Khaira who was still stirring her drink.

"I've never drank this before" he said honestly. "But I'll try to drink." Khaira drank the chirping tea with her suction.

For the first time, Khaira felt strange. But she drank it because she appreciated what her husband bought.

"Why is that weird?" he asked again as his eyes looked at Khaira's face.

"Taste tea." said Khaira.

"Lha is indeed tea, so the taste is tea not coffee." said Radit while laughing. "Once yes, this is why we go to the end of there."

Khaira nodded while drinking her drink. After the second drink ran out, the two again left the streets in the Old City area. Various museums stand on the right and left side, ranging from the Bank Indonesia Museum, Wayang Museum, Cafe Batavia, to one of the famous landmarks in that place, the Fatahillah Museum.

While walking, Khaira spread his gaze to see ancient buildings that look antique and magnificent along the road. He did not even expect, Radit would take him to a historical place like this.

Why did Nero bring me here to try? This place is indeed historic, but our relationship means nothing at all.

Khaira snorted quite sadly realizing the relationship of the two who had already walked four months but was like a road in place, as if the sun was reluctant to greet the two as it blocked the thick fog. Khaira who was walking somewhat behind, could only look at her husband who was currently walking in front of her.

"Why is the road so far behind? What if it's lost?" Radit turned his back on his body when he realized that Khaira was still quite far behind him.

"Not going to disappear, I always follow you from behind really" he said casually.

Radit waited until Khaira was closer to him. "Do you want to go to the museum or walk around?" pull over to the side of the road.

"I follow you, where is it no problem for me." Khaira answered while looking at the various museums around her.

"Nonsense?" again Radit asked.

"Ikhlas. Come." replied Khaira as she walked ahead of Radit.

"Will the Fatahillah Museum?" his finger pointed at the Fatahillah Museum across from them.

"Yes, come..." Khaira nodded her head and walked around Radit.

Finally, both have entered the Fatahillah Museum which is often referred to as the Jakarta History Museum. In the Dutch colonial period, this building was the Batavian City Hall. The building was built in the Dutch style and resembles the Dam Palace, in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

In this museum, Radit and Khaira go around looking at various historical objects from the Kingdom of Tarumanegara and Pajajaran, various replicas and ceramics, pottery, and inscriptions.

Khaira finally saw the other side of her husband who turned out to be very fond of museum tours. He didn't think a Radit turned out so much to enjoy going to a museum like this.

"Mas Radit likes to go to museums?" khaira asked as she continued to walk behind Radit.

"O..." Khaira can only pronounce "o.

"When I was a kid, I went to the museum and my daughter was Dad. But I forgot his name. Dad used to live in Jogja."

"Oh, yes. Means happy memories dong Mas." said Khaira.

Radit seemed to recall his memories from childhood. "There used to be a girl, aged 4-5 years with me. His children Father and Mother. Once we took a walk together up to the Railway Museum in Ambarawa. But I don't know now, what kind of kid he is now and what he's grown up with."

"Maybe the child is now an adult, if the age gap is 4-5 years, maybe the child is now almost 22 years old." Khaira responds to Radit's story.

"Yes, it's been 22 years. Your age, huh?"

"Yes." answered Khaira.

Radit wants to remember the little girl he used to play with and travel with, but no matter how hard, he tries to remember it, still he does not remember. Even his name was lost from his memory.

"Where is this abbis going? Want to eat?" Radit invites and offers Khaira to eat.

"Yes, can. It's lunchtime too."

"Come out now, will you?"

"Yes..."

Satisfied around the Fatahillah Museum, Radit and Khaira also continued to eat. When it was when they came the weather was so sunny, but this time it was suddenly cloudy.

"The road is a bit sparse yes, we buy soto chicken at the end of this road, the deck where we parked earlier. So that no rain" he said as he walked and occasionally looked back to make sure Khaira was not too far behind him.

Only halfway through, the wind blew louder, and the rain began to fall.

"Ouch. How's this even raining?" Khaira somewhat ran looking for shelter around her.

Unexpectedly Radit took off his jacket, then made it as a hood of his head. He took Khaira to the edge and covered her head with his jacket.

Khaira is completely distrustful of what Radit is doing right now. Why would he take off his jacket and cover their heads. Before that even the man did not consider Khaira that much, but now look at the man who has changed and noticed Khaira.

"Later you can get dizzy when exposed to rain water" he said while getting closer to Khaira. "Run there yuk?"

Khaira feels new this time she is so close to Radit. Even their faces were so close that they were only a few centimeters away. Khaira could not say anything, she was only able to run after Radit looking for shelter.

Until both of them now stop at the head of the building. They stood with their shoulders against the wall.

Khaira takes the tissue from her bag, she gives it to Radit. "Cleaned using Mas tissue" he said while thrusting a tissue.

"Please." said Radit while receiving tissue from Khaira and wiping his face wet with rain water.

"Memorable anyway, we're here raining. Aren't you?" he said while laughing at Khaira.
