Graduation - Removing Your Traces

One month after the session of Sripsi, today Khaira finally attended the Graduation event.

This graduation is nothing special for Khaira. Because graduation is just a celebration, the real journey in the world of a new career begins after graduation is over.

Nevertheless, Khaira remains happy because on this happy day her dreams since entering this faculty can graduation with her best friend, Metta finally achieved.

By wearing an ice blue kebaya, a hairstyle that is arranged in such a way, and toga clothes. Khaira prepares to attend her graduation procession.

"Finally we can graduate with ya Ta..." Khaira said full of haru while hugging Metta, his best friend since the beginning of college.

"Yes, I didn't expect to graduate the same. Considering how much I've left behind the thesis. Seneng really can graduate together." said Metta with a feeling that is no less happy.

The conversation ended, because the Graduates read the title as the recipient of the best cumulative achievement index (GPA), the best thesis, and the best PPL.

The MC of the event also read out the recipients of the best Graduation predicate for the category.

"Wisudawan with the Best Achievement Index obtained Sister Khaira Amaira with a Performance Index of 3.9."

Khaira seemed surprised, he did not expect to get the best cumulative Performance Index this year. Not over his happiness and gratitude, apparently his name was re-named.

"The Widow with the Best Script was obtained by Sister Khaira Amaira."

The lecturers, graduates, and attendees who were present gave applause for Khaira.

Khaira also advanced to the podium to receive vandals and flowers from his University Rector.

The girl smiled happily to tears because her hard work on studying paid off by getting the Best GPA and Research Thesis. Even in the last six months, his life has turned upside down, but there is a little happiness that God has brought in the midst of the hustle and bustle of his household.

Upon returning to her seat, Metta again hugged her happily.

"Congratulations My Bestie, you deserve all of this. I'm happy."

"Thank you Ta... Thank you for always being my best friend." Khaira broke into tears hugging Metta.

"Don't cry, your makeup will wear off." Canda Metta to Khaira.

After the graduation procession is completed, many graduates take photos. But that was not the case for Khaira, she went to her graduation alone. Khaira did not tell Radit his graduation, because both of them had lost contact for so many weeks.

"Khaira, who's coming?" Tama came to Khaira.

"Congratulations, so the highest GPA and the best thesis" he said while shaking Khaira's hand.

"Thank you Tama. Congratulations and success to you." Sahut Khairah.

"Are you alone? Where's your husband's family?"

"My husband's got a job out of town, so I can't help it."

While Khaira, as if reluctant to respond to the words of Tama.

"Yes yes Tama, I went straight back. The afternoon."

"Yes Khai, be careful on the road ya..."

Khaira leaves Tama, but as her legs move further away, Tama calls her name.

"Khaira. I hope you are always happy." Tama said sincerely.

Khaira was still stunned in place by looking at Tama. "May you be happy too, Tama. Get a girl who loves you sincerely."

***

One week after graduation, Khaira got the announcement that she was accepted for an S2 scholarship at the University of Manchester, England. The scholarship obtained by Khaira is not only limited to educational scholarships, but includes scholarships with a substantial living allowance that can be obtained.

"Thank you God, again you give happiness. When I give up and I lose my way, but Your hand brings me back to the path you have prepared for me." Khaira's prayer in her thanksgiving.

Many times people think that it is impossible to get something, but when God wills it will happen. Similarly with Khaira, from the beginning of the thesis he worked and fought alone, there is no support system that just gives him spirit, but in fact he can arrive at this stage. Can graduate with the highest GPA, Best Thesis, and now he also got a scholarship abroad as he had aspired.

Khaira began packing for her trip to England, with two large suitcases including clothes, shoes, and books.

His departure to England is two days away. However, for some reason today he wanted to surround the Capital before he would leave this city full of memories for 2 years.

Khaira drives a car with his favorite type of city car. He only followed his heart while driving, but in fact he was currently driving his car to the Old City. Yes Old Town, a place that gives little memory for Khaira of course with Radit.

"A few months ago, we both came here. For the first time while we were married. Even though I am indifferent and ordinary to you, but my heart is happy there is at least one day I can remember with you."

Khaira walked alone down the streets of the Old City area, with the tightness in her heart. Then, Khaira entered the Fatahillah Museum, the Museum he used to go with Radit.

"We also visited this museum. At that time you told me about your memories with a little girl when you visited the Jogja Kembali Museum. If you remember, that little girl is me, Mom. Unfortunately, you only remember that girl, but you don't remember that little girl at all that was me."

Khaira then walked gontai through each area of the museum. The route he took was like the route he took with Radit.

"Even the route you went through I remember it, Mas. My heart and brain don't want to forget you."

Khaira smiled bitterly, as she felt this time. Then, he came out of the museum and he walked towards the Kota Intan bridge.

"It used to be in this place that we took photos together for the first time since we got married. For the first time, you brought my hand to hold you, even if it's only for a few minutes, but this is when I felt my heart beating that's not bad because it's close to you."

Eventually Khaira continued to walk around the Old City area, and he returned to the place where his car was parked.

"Two days I'll go, Mom. Up here I erased your tracks, erased the memories we once made together. Delete a day I spent with you. I will continue to step up to my goal. I've been the unlucky girl of my entire life for having a loveless marriage, but I want to fight for my love. After it's all about us, Mas, I'll go. Let time erase your tracks."

Khaira said those words softly as she sobbed with the head she rested on the steering wheel of her car.
