One day, a Mother Duck was incubating her eggs. He could not wait for his children to be born into the world. Finally, the day waiting for the duck mother arrived. The eggs hatch one by one, and the chicks come out of their shells. However, the mother duck is very surprised from some of her children there are different. One of his sons was of a different color than his brothers. It has a gray color and has a larger body than the others.


Looking at her different son the duckling mother was astonished. However, he did not care and welcomed his children born into the world. Mother duck directly invites her children to swim together in the lake.


As they swim, they pass by other animals that see the mother duck and her children. But they were also whispering.


"Who is that? He was so different from his other brothers, he was so ugly." Whispers of animals that see the duck family. Hearing what the other animals said made the mother feel sad. However, he did not care because one child was indeed different from the other. But he is still his son.


All the animals taunt the gray duck. Even his own brother. The ashes felt very sad. He decided to leave because he no longer wanted to live there. He walked around and met a dog who was looking for food. Seeing the dog, the ash duck was frightened because he was afraid to eat by him. However, the dog instead ran away from the gray duck. Seeing the dog running away from him, he felt even more sad because the dog was afraid to see him.


He also continued the journey. On the way, he felt exhausted and fell asleep in front of a house. Suddenly, a Cat and a Chicken came to him. A gray duck woke up from his sleep and saw the two animals. However, they immediately drove the gray Duck to leave the front of the house.


Deeply sad, he continued on his way. He walked very far and finally, he rested by the river. He saw a swan passing by. He was also very envious to see the beauty of the Goose.


"Why are you sad?" greet one of the Goose who approached Duck ash.


"I'm sad because I'm ugly and can't be like you guys." Reply Itik abu sad.


The Goose troupe just laughed.


"Who said you were ugly? You're so beautiful like us." Answer Goose.


The Goose group also invited Duck ash closer to the river bank. The gray duck was very surprised to see the figure of the white Goose in the water. He did not see his ugly self and was feared in the water. He wondered who the beautiful swan was.
