Sharing Love: Winning Without Love

Sharing Love: Winning Without Love
Choosing to Survive

Days change days, weeks change weeks, months change. Not felt, for two months, Khaira became the wife of a Radit.

A wife who is loved without love. A wife who is only a wife, but is never treated as a wife. Often Khaira thought being inside Radit's house made her a boarding boy, coming home when she was exhausted and resting at night. Repeated activities he lived, without any attention from a husband.

At night, Khaira always shed tears. Not regretting the fate line that seemed to play tricks on him, but he was more begging for strength from God. May He who first wrote this scenario give Khaira the strength, fortitude, and sincerity to carry out his destiny.

In this large enough house only in the room and kitchen area alone which became the space of Khaira's movement. He had no intention of setting his foot in another room. Even though the house Khaira occupied was the wedding gift house of Radit's parents, it was like there was no life in it. Residents of the house met only at breakfast and dinner, while in the last few weeks Felly was rarely seen in this house.

But even the circumstances have not changed. Both Radit and Khaira are still equally indifferent. Avoiding each other is the best option. Khaira just busied himself in the room, while Radit often chose to go home late at night.

Getting married to someone who doesn't love us at all is actually a slow suicide option. Grieving, weeping, has become Khaira's daily life.

The girl couldn't deny how much her heart ached every day, making friends with sadness and loneliness had become a part of her daily life. Sometimes Khaira feels numb, unable to feel anything because of the amount of sadness and suffering in her life. However, once again Khaira chose to stay. Not because she loved her husband. Wasn't it! That love has not even grown. However, Khaira believes in the power of the sacred promise of marriage.

The sacred promise that her husband made during Ijab Qobul. The sacred promise spoken is not only before the Father of Ammar and the ruler, but also the sacred promise is bound before God.

That night, Khaira was in the kitchen. He intends to cook his own menu for dinner, now the house does not have ART anymore because Bi Tinah decided to go home to her hometown, waiting for her son who will soon give birth. The absence of Bi Tinah makes Khaira must often be in the kitchen to cook, but sometimes he only cook for himself.

For Khaira cooking is much more satisfying, than just buying food.

That night, Khaira wants to cook her own Beef Bulgogi at home. As he was preparing a grill pan (roaster face) and a protabel stove on the dining table, a man entered the house.

Radit came with a face that looked very exhausted. Hair's messy. Khaira only briefly looked at her husband who came and leaned his head on the living room sofa.

Khaira is not so concerned about the arrival of Radit, he focuses on providing beef (beef slice) that has been marinated with Bulgogi seasoning, white rice in two small bowls, onions, garlic, and so on, and lettuce leaves.

Radit still looks tangled in the living room. Sometimes the man massages his temples. It's possible that the workload in his office is a lot, so Radit looks exhausted.

From the dining table, exudes the fragrant aroma of Bulgogi beef. The aroma can make the nose dance and want to eat it. Smelling the fragrant aroma of Beef Bulgogi made by Khaira, Radit instead chose to stand up, he intended to enter his room. Just a step he was about to climb the stairs, a voice call stopped him.

"Mas... Dinner first." Khaira offers Radit dinner. Khaira thinks that the husband must not have eaten, plus his tangled and exhausted appearance, is increasingly evidence that Radit may not have eaten.

"Can I come to dinner with you?"

"Yes, please Mas..."

I don't know why Khaira isn't being as nonchalant and indifferent as ever. Khaira just wants to share dinner with her husband.

Radit seemed to be weighing, his stomach was hungry because of the task of work that was too much all day he had not even eaten at all. Finally, he took a seat at the dining table right in front of Khaira.

Without saying much, Khaira handed him a bowl of white rice and invited her husband to take the beef from the grill pan.

"Dimakan Mas's... Take the meat yourself." said Khaira while handing the chopsticks to pick up the meat on the grill pan.

Radit seems to be watching Khaira's every move, why she is still so nice to him. Even if every day, he only gave pain and always be indifferent, but even now the girl he married without love was kind to him.

"Thank you, yeah..." He said as he put white rice and some beef into his mouth.

Khaira also enjoyed her dinner quietly, after which she did not speak to Radit at all. All that was heard was the sound of spoons, chopsticks, and the sound of beef being roasted in a grill pan.

Dinner this time there was no derision from Radit who usually called Khaira "Little Child" or "Cheng." And, this is the first time Radit did not say that nickname to Khaira. Either his mood is bad or indeed Radit is reluctant to argue with Khaira. To be sure the atmosphere at the dining table was very calm that night, both of them were busy with the food in front of him.

After the meal was over, Khaira cleaned all the dirty utensils, she washed them immediately. From his seat, Radit observed the back of Khaira who was washing in the kitchen. His eyes looked as if he did not want to look at Khaira's small back.

When Khaira was washing various bowls, glasses, and grill pan that he just used, Radit called him.

"Hey, I'll go to the room first. Thanks for dinner." Radit thanked him, then he passed into the room.

"Hem." Answer Khaira briefly.

"At least you don't call me a child or a crybaby is enough for me, Mas. I chose to stay here not because I love you, the flowers in my heart have not bloomed at all. I will only survive my destiny as your rightful wife. May there be happiness behind this suffering." - Khaira murmured in her heart.
