The Eternal War Kasarewang

The Eternal War Kasarewang
Exam (1)

Even after a week had passed, Harsa was still haunted by the fact that she and Barasa liked the same person. One week was not enough for him to understand that this kind of problem could happen in his life. During this time, Harsa thought problems such as love triangles only occurred in novels or television dramas, not in her life. Elis was the first woman to attract her attention and Harsa had never thought of getting into a relationship before. So, she's blind to how to handle romance issues. It was fortunate that the friendship of the three of them had not changed much apart from the slight awkwardness between him and Barasa. All thanks to the efforts of both of them to assume that their conversation never existed.

Although this problem often crossed Harsa's mind, she was always faced with tasks that had to be completed. Whether it is PR from school, Adi, midterm exams, or practicing Kasarewang language. He had too many activities to have time to reflect on the relationship between him and Elis. Tonight, the activity came in the form of the figure of an Adi.

Dahi Harsa frowned at the loss of seeing her brother trying sweet tea for the first time in her life at the dinner table. “Kok kak Adi at home? Today is Monday.” Harsa was still too limp to practice magic again.

Adi placed his tea cup with a frown as well. He still had not decided whether he liked that sweet tea or not. “So early this morning when I was about to return to Drestha, after you went to school, I detected a formskitter around here. He seems to be attacking you. But I myself have to go back to Drestha for work and you have to go to school, so dad suggested that we face the formskitter tonight. Now, it is better not to delay again.”

Harsa's face turned pale.  The last time he faced the formskitter, the creature almost took the lives of his two friends, and he himself lost consciousness. “Eng? We were? Me and brother Adi will face it both?”

“Ya.” Adi said firmly. “Good that you have experience fighting against more formskiter.”

Although nervous, Harsa nodded.

“Let's face it at the Spirit World Bank, so as not to damage anything.” Adi said then swung his hand. One of the agate rings on his finger lit up, then a transparent hood to the Edge of the Spirit World opened.

Harsa gulps. She puts down her school bag and steps into the World Bank Spirit follows Adi.

As usual, a vast valley lay around them within the Edge of the Spirit World. As far as the eye could see, Harsa did not notice any difference from where they practiced normally.

“You ready?” ask Adi.

Harsa. “Ngak, but must be faced right.”

“Don't worry, I'm here.” Adi said soothingly. “I also will not accidentally put you in danger.”

Harsa nodded. Now, he could trust in Adi's words completely. Harsa believes that even if Adi often acts annoyingly, her older brother has no evil intentions.

“Iya, thanks brother.” He said nod. “But, where's that formskitter? Not looking at all.”

“Try to remove your aura.” Tell Adi.

Harsa released his physis in thin and widened quantities.

“No need to restrain yourself.” From Adi, the aura suppressed his usual. His appearance changed back to the appearance of a striking Kasarewang with his bright blue hair and flaming white eyes.

“That's the importance of your aura always active twenty-four hours a day.” Adi said reminding. “Yesterday, did you really work on your PR to activate your aura ten hours a day?” ask Adi suspiciously. “If you activated your aura this morning, you should have noticed that a formskitter was forming.”

“Uhh. I turned it on, really, but not ten hours nonstop. Stop-stop that. I didn't stretch my aura to that extent. Is the aura of Adi brother up to five hundred meters?” Harsa asked in disbelief.

“Iya, really. I always let out my aura at all times. Its width could envelop half of this city. If I'm serious, it could be all over this city.” Adi said. He did not mean to be proud. Nor did he push down Harsa.  He just wanted to put a high standard in order for Harsa to develop faster.

“... Ehh. Ja. Hopefully can.” Harsa said not promised. “But the formskitter didn't attack us?”

“She is still forming.” Answer Adi. “Actually, the easiest way to deal with formskitter is to destroy its core before its body is formed. But, since I want this to be your training against formskitter, then we wait for him to form perfectly.”

Harsa's hands were already soaked in sweat from the tension, but it seemed Adi was relaxed. The soldier continued to explain.

“In facing formskitter. The most important thing is to destroy the point. If the core is destroyed, then the formskitter will not regenerate again.”

“That black crystal ball?” ask Harsa.

“Yes. The trick is to injure the formskitter until the core is visible. After that, you break the point. After the core is destroyed, he will not regenerate again.”

“Is there no way to destroy formskitter in a single attack?” Ask Harsa.

“How do you destroy the core in one attack. Most core formskitters are in the middle of their bodies, but stronger and smarter formskitters often move their cores to different parts of their bodies. So, yeah. To make sure they really die, you have to see their cores destroyed.” Adi Clear.

Harsa nodded. Brow wrinkled. As long as they spoke, the formskitters were increasingly turning real. Black colored muscles begin to form around the core. Within minutes, they had to fight.

“Remember.” Adi again. “When fighting formskitter you must be vigilant and keep your body from various kinds of attacks. Besides being able to master some magic elements, formskitters can change shape, so they can surprise you.”

Listening to Adi's explanation of how sinister the formskitter, which is being formed not far ahead there, Harsa's body is getting tense. “Iya, sis.”

Their time is up. The formskitter was already perfectly formed into a bat. Flying from the sky, the formskitter plunged down on Harsa. His fangs were sticking out horribly with poisonous saliva that seemed to be able to destroy anything.

Adi activated one of his rings and pulled out his slender sword, but he remained on standby behind, telling Harsa to face the formskitter alone. “Be careful. Don't force yourself.” Adi said.

Harsa dashed forward, enveloping her body with a very thick physis. One month ago, Harsa was so helpless against the formskitters that suddenly appeared in her school. Barasa and Aster get hurt for protecting him. He himself lost consciousness. However, after training with Adi to sweat, this time will be different. Harsa will not lose.
